* InvisibleAdvertising: Creator/{{Teletoon}} gave the series absolutely no attention nor advertising during any of the very few times they aired the show in the graveyard slots they condemned it too. If anything, most people in Canada only know about the show because of its online reputation.
* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: The original English version was stuck in limbo for years, with no official DVD release in the region; however, after someone miraculously found a Malaysian DVD copy of the entire series, it was uploaded to Platform/{{Vimeo}} by the Lost Media Wiki. Finally averted TheNewTwenties, as of 2021 all of the episodes are available to watch on Creator/{{Peacock}}.
* PermanentPlaceholder: According to [[http://youchew.net/forum/index.php?/topic/99410-interview-with-my-life-me-creator-jc-little/ this interview]] with showrunner J.C. Little, the title was originally temporary, but the broadcasters and producers liked it.
* ScrewedByTheNetwork: Creator/{{Teletoon}} did not seem to like this show. While they are notorious for commissioning shows for only 13-26 episodes over 1 or 2 seasons before completely ignoring them except as mid-day filler to fulfill Canadian Content laws, most of those shows at least got some favoritism before concluding -- things that this series never received in its brief lifetime.
** After being aired in many other countries, it finally debuted on Teletoon in the Fall of 2011, where it was given absolutely no advertising and promotion by the network and only aired in a single weekday early afternoon timeslot when kids would still be in school. After every single episode was burned off in the course of a single month, it remained in its lone timeslot until being suddenly removed from the airwaves in January 2012.
** Reruns of the show have only returned to the network ''once'' since then, and that was in 2017, where Teletoon ''again'' aired the show in a graveyard slot, this time in the wee hours of the morning right after Creator/TeletoonAtNight when most viewers would be asleep. Once again, its time on the airwaves proved exceptionally brief and Teletoon silently got rid of the show again as quickly as it came.
* ShortRunInPeru: Before eventually airing on the English-version of Creator/{{Teletoon}} in Canada by Fall 2011, it had already aired on France 2 (France), Canal J (Also France), KI.KA (Germany), Creator/DisneyChannel (The Southeast Asian, Italian and Taiwanese versions) and [=ZigZap=] (Poland). [[SubvertedTrope Subverted in that the show first aired on the French version of Teletoon in 2010, a year before it debuted on Anglophone Teletoon.]]
* TroubledProduction: German co-production group TV-Loonland, the show's owners at the time, filed for bankruptcy/insolvency and sold off all its assets while the series was in the middle of production, which is believed by some to have deeply impacted the series' budget.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: The show was originally planned for a 2009 release with plans of licensing the show "with a strong emphasis on publishing, accessories, gifts, stationery, apparel as well as a strong online component with a fully interactive website". However, the bankruptcy of TV-Loonland, which had made the show one of its top offerings at the time resulted in everything being scrapped.
