* AlanSmithee: The Marvel reprint series credits Creator/AlanMoore as "The Original Writer", stemming from the contracts he signed some years ago, when he signed away his creative rights to Gaiman and his share of the money to Mick Anglo, whom he considers to have been cheated out of his rightful profit from the character.
* CowboyBebopAtHisComputer: Eclipse Comics billed Miracleman as "America's #1 Super Hero" despite the characters and setting being British.
* CreatorBacklash: Has ''relatively'' less of this, since it's not as well-known as ''ComicBook/{{Watchmen}}'' or ''ComicBook/TheKillingJoke'', but the few times it's been brought up in interviews, Creator/AlanMoore has had very few kind words about it (once describing the entire franchise "a poisoned chalice").
** This is more because of the TroubledProduction and rights issues and his bad relationships with Dez Skinn. He is generally proud of the work and discussed it in detail in George Khoury's book ''Kimota!''.
** One thing Moore does genuinely hate: the renaming from ''Marvelman'' to ''Miracleman'' solely to protect Marvel's brand which he saw as unfair given how JustForFun/OneMarioLimit never really applied before Creator/MarvelComics decided that the world wasn't big enough for more than one marvel. Legally Eclipse Comics didn't want to fight the battle so they adjusted.
* InMemoriam: ''Miracleman'' issue 0, printed in 2022, was dedicated to the memory of artist Garry Leach.
* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: For many years, this was one of the most notorious comics examples, with the copyright morass preventing reprints and the widespread interest in a core Creator/AlanMoore work ensuring that copies of the Moore and Gaiman serial issues and collections sold for ludicrous prices. It was finally rescued starting from 2014.
* RenamedToAvoidAssociation: He was initially named "Marvelman" before a dispute with Creator/MarvelComics, by then a major player in the comics industry. There's some black humor in the fact that the ''Miracleman'' name was first used for a CaptainErsatz of the character in one of Marvel's own comics (''ComicBook/CaptainBritainACrookedWorld''), a couple of years earlier - which was ''also'' written by Alan Moore.
* ScheduleSlip: The Silver Age reprints, which were announced for release in 2016, only for the first two issues to be pulled from retailers and unsolicited, with Marvel EIC [[https://www.bleedingcool.com/2016/03/12/axel-alonso-responds-on-new-miracleman-delays/ Axel Alonso]] explaining this was done to ensure the remaining issues could be released seamlessly without any delays (possibly to avoid a similar situation DC faced when releasing ''ComicBook/TheSandmanOverture'', which took two years to complete) However...
* ScrewedByTheLawyers: Creator/NeilGaiman has also stated [[https://www.facebook.com/neilgaiman/posts/10153567586256016 on his]] Website/{{Facebook}} that the continued delay in re-releasing ''The Silver Age'' is due to unspecified legal issues cropping up regarding contractual obligations, and that the writing of the remaining issues will only commence once this has been resolved. It took until late 2022 for the series to finally be solicited for release.
