* The comic's creators have displayed an interesting range of responses to problems with MoralGuardians, as [[http://www.pixietrixcomix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=15&start=1965#p550157 they eventually explained clearly on the comic's discussion board]]. Although some strips are noted for their unashamed use of nudity, this apparently caused massive problems with loss of advertising revenue, leading to a long run of strips with no visible nipples, for purely financial reasons. The fact that the same strips featured a lot of energetic lesbian foreplay and a group sex session, but were still rated as "safe for work", may say a lot about the morality being guarded by those advertisers.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: The creators designed the comic to last about 12 volumes, but problems with advertising revenue and the writers wishing to move on to other projects compelled them to stop at 10. Initially things seemed to be stopping more or less entirely there, although they left open the possibility of the occasional [[WrapitUp mini-series or one-shot]], but then they launched ''Webcomic/PixieTrixComix'' as an immediate {{sequel}}, so the ending turned out to be far from really final. Nonetheless, volume 10 was the end of ''Ménage à 3'' as such.
* WriteWhatYouKnow: Zii forms an all-girl rock band; Gisèle Lagacé used to be in just such a band. Giz was the bassist, the part played by Sonya in Zii and the Troublemakers.
