* CowboyBebopAtHisComputer: The official LEGO books '' Standing Small: A Celebration of 30 Years of the LEGO Minifigure'' and ''LEGO Minifigure Ultimate Sticker Collection'' got several facts wrong, which surely does not help this theme's already infamous name confusion problems. Slyboots is named "Slyboot" and "Lord Sam Sinister"[[note]]while he was originally called Sam Sinister in North America, he never had the Lord title; that title only belonged to Baron von Barron[[/note]], with the sticker book also calling him formerly "Mr. Hates" and referring to him as the villain from the ''Orient Expedition'' subtheme. Gabarro and Alexia Sinister both fall victim to SpellMyNameWithAnS and are named "Gabarros" and "Alexis Sinister", respectively. The "Good Guys" section also claims that the heroes used the All Terrain Trapper, which was actually one of the villains' vehicles.

* WriteWhoYouKnow: Aside from the obvious ''Franchise/IndianaJones'' homage, Johnny Thunder is actually based upon LEGO designer Niels Milan Pedersen, who took up paleontology as a hobby and also has a mustache and [[FedoraOfAsskicking fedora]] like Johnny. This was [[https://twitter.com/justinramsden/status/1184509547127422978 confirmed]] by LEGO senior model designer Justin Ramsden.
