* ActorExistenceLimbo: Kelly took a hiatus from the company in the summer of 2012 and was still promoted and featured on the website, despite not being around. She made a return for one match and one multi-Diva appearance at [=SummerSlam=] before taking even more time off. She was even shown in a graphic for a battle royal that she did not participate in. She was eventually released in October.
* ContractualPurity: Managed to avoid this. A photo circulated the web of a drunk Kelly with her panties down peeing into a sink. She suffered no (known) backlash from it - though this was before WWE switched to PG. WWE did, however, eventually change its policy to restrict talent under 21 from being put on the road, which is credited to be most likely a result of her antics (and not only hers, but also Kenny Dykstra's, who was around 20 at the time and was well-known to be an avid partyer).
* Corpsing: The rookie Kelly Kelly was mentoring in NXT, Wrestling/Wrestler, made her corpse by doing her routine in a Hamburger Helper costume for the Halloween costume contest.
* CreatorBacklash:
** The Extreme Expose gimmick. She says Paul Heyman called her up to say "do you have any dance training?" to which she said no. She still ended up in the dance troupe despite having "no rhythm". Further exacerbating matters was that she, Brooke (who also had no dance training) and Layla never had much time to put routines together; they never knew how much time they'd have or what music they'd be getting, so a routine had to be haphazardly put together a few hours before the tapings.
** The Kelly's Expose gimmick was embarrassing for her too, as she was eighteen and stripping on television. She's also embarrassed about the infamous debut segment where she couldn't unhook her own bra.
* EnforcedMethodActing:
** For the segment where the Sandman hit her in the face with his cane, she wasn't told that he'd be hitting her full force and so the blow was unexpected on her part.
** She always told her opponents to go hard on her when they were punching, so she could properly play up the DamselInDistress and generate audience sympathy. Particularly when defending the World Heavyweight Championship, she told Layla and Michelle [=McCool=] to "kick the shit out of me" so that she would have plenty of emotions to draw from when Vickie Guerrero fired her.
** In the Chickification-heavy Diva Era, Kelly was known for taking some rather daring high spots. Michelle [=McCool=] referred to her as someone always willing to take a big bump to make a match memorable.
* IAmNotSpock: She is only referred to as Barbara Blank now. Though this may be because WWE owns the name Kelly Kelly. However unlike a lot of talent, the other Divas would freely call her 'Barbie' in non-kayfabe interviews. Paul Heyman however still calls her Kelly.
* RoleEndingMisdemeanor: Invoked. She took part in a racy photoshoot that the PG WWE were not happy with. She was ordered to take some photos down from her Twitter and when she didn't, they got the message and released her. She said she preferred being released rather than quitting.
* RomanceOnTheSet:
** She dated Batista briefly.
** She also dated the late Andrew "Test" Martin, who died tragically in 2009 four days prior to his 34th birthday. It was thought that they had split up by the time he died, but it was later revealed they had still been together.
** There were also rumors that she had a relationship with CM Punk at one point (not at all helped by Kelly's first major storyline being about her having a crush on Punk while still with abusive boyfriend Mike Knox).
* ThrowItIn: The night the 'Kelly's Exposé' segment was debuted, she had rehearsed the routine to be done with a chair. A mistake in the production room meant there was no chair on the set, so she had to improvise.
* WagTheDirector: By the time of 2011, she felt that she had been in the company long enough and was over enough to become Divas' Champion, and people advised her to pitch the idea to Vince. She did, he responded "okay", and a few weeks later she won the title.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen:
** She pitched a storyline to Vince [=McMahon=] involving her turning heel. He asked her to make a mean face, and when she started Corpsing, he responded "that's why".
** They were certainly going for some kind of storyline with Kharma which had to be dropped when the latter got pregnant. A rumour went around that Kelly would turn heel and use Kharma to help her win matches, setting up a feud with Beth Phoenix. Another rumour said that Kelly's big push for the Divas' Championship was meant for who had just turned face but got injured.
** Kaitlyn claims that she was meant to be the one to interfere in Dolph Ziggler's match at the 2011 Royal Rumble and have a CatFight with Vickie Guerrero. It was changed to Kelly at the last minute, though it's unknown if Kaitlyn would have had the main event match on Smackdown and subsequent firing storyline that Kelly got.
** Wrestling/TarynTerrell said that she pitched a storyline romance with her real life husband Drew [=McIntyre=], as a way to bring their relationship on screen. This is thought to be the basis of the little program between Drew and Kelly in early 2011.
** An Eve Torres and Kelly Kelly singles match was hinted at for Wrestlemania 28 (as Eve had just turned heel). Then abruptly the match included Beth Phoenix and Extra host Maria Menounos.
** She was rumoured to star in a Divas reality show alongside Eve, Alicia Fox and the Bellas. This was dropped when plans for the WWE Network fell through. The concept eventually resurfaced in the form of Series/TotalDivas.
** In her shoot interview, she claims that the night she won the Divas' Championship, the poll was legit and that Brie Bella had to remember three different matches. And that whoever was chosen would win the title - so Wrestling/EveTorres or Wrestling/BethPhoenix would have become champion had the fans voted more for them.
** Invoked in her appearance in the 2018 Women's Royal Rumble. She was a replacement for Paige, who had been recently injured. One wonders what Paige could have done given her skill and popularity.

!! General Trivia:
* Was planning to try out for the Olympics in gymnastics but fractured her tail bone at a young age, putting a stop to that plan.
* Never played a heel at all in her career. The closest she came was being on a heel team when she was still with Mike Knox.
* The first Diva to defend the World Heavyweight Championship.
