* ExecutiveMeddling: Several songs were purportedly chosen because Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime liked them. In addition, many rumors of a sequel exist purely based on the fact that Reggie was apparently quite fond of the game. Not that him getting us a sequel would be a bad thing.
** In fact, it seems that "September" and a Jamiroquai track have to be in every music game Nintendo has some hand in, being as they are in ''EBA'', ''VideoGame/DonkeyKonga'' and... well, that's it.
** "September" and "Material Girl" are also in ''VideoGame/WiiMusic''.
** Speaking of musical preferences, iNiS apparently likes DavidBowie, judging from one of [[GitarooMan their previous games.]]
* HeyItsThatGuy: A few characters from Ouendan appear in this game, especially noticeable with the lead actor in Romancing Meowzilla, who previously appeared as a character in both Ouendan games.
* HeyItsThatVoice: The covers of "Walkie Talkie Man" and "Canned Heat" are sung by Jason Paige, best known for his first-season ''Anime/{{Pokemon}}'' theme.
** The cover of "Sk8er Boi" was apparently sung by the same person as the theme song for WesternAnimation/KimPossible.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: As you can see [[http://www.joystiq.com/photos/elite-beat-agents-concept-art/#178178 here,]] the Agents were actually supposed to be based on the VillagePeople, J's hairdo looked a lot like Ryuuta's, Derek was a completely different person, and they were known as the ''[[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking Disco Rangers]]''.
** There's also [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeE4NmfSmJo this E3 trailer]], which makes it a bit more similar to Ouendan.
** Early press releases before the game came out listed Ricky Martin's "Livin' La Vida Loca" as one of the songs that would appear in the game; however, the song never made it to the final version. Interestingly, in the two-player song select menu, there's a blank spot at the end of the list that suggests that a level was indeed taken out late in development, lending credence to this possibility.
* TheWikiRule: There's an [[http://inis.wikia.com iNiS Wiki]], but it's not updated often.
