* ActorAllusion: The Seventh Samurai, voiced by Creator/GeorgeTakei, says "Oh my" at one point in his debut episode.
* CrossDressingVoices: Did you know that Manny's English voice is done by Alanna Ubach, who played the maid in Meet The Fockers? Now you know.
* ExecutiveMeddling: Sketches of El Tigre's third season, which never did exist, can be found on deviantArt.
* HeyItsThatVoice: Sartana and Django are Wuya and Jack Spicer.
** Josie is El Tigre, and a few other characters.
** Dr. Chipotle is Daggett and Zim! This isn't the first time he's opposed a tiger-themed luchador, either...
** Rodolfo/White Pantera is Stimpy and Buhdeuce.
** Grandpapi/Puma Loco is Rocko Wallaby, Crocker, and Lazlo.
** The Seventh Samurai might just be a distant ancestor to Lieutenant Sulu.
* ScrewedByTheNetwork: Episodes following "The Good, the Bad, and the Tigre" were premiered too early in the morning and/or with little to no promotion. At least in the U.S.
* WriteWhoYouKnow: Manny and Frida are apparently based off the creators' personalities. Interesting people!
** It goes far beyond that. Rodolfo and Grandpapi are based on the guy's father and grandfather. The former was an artist, the latter was in the military. It probably led to an interesting childhood.
** Miracle City was also based off of Mexico City, where Gutiérrez was originally from.
