* ActingForTwo:
** Creator/PatrickMcKenna voices both Norm and Vern Wendell.
** Creator/JoanneVannicola voices Jake Wendell and Emily Butane.
** Creator/MartinRoach voices Reginald Manderbelt and Mrs. [=McGurk=].
** Creator/DwayneHill voices Royce Manderbelt, Sid Butane, Colton Steel, Pete, and Earl.
** Shoshana Sperling voices Carol, Sarah Forbes, Frida Dominguez, and Mace Butane.
* TheCastShowoff: Roxy Wendell is voiced by Creator/BrynMcAuley, who's a singer as well as an actress, best known for her role as Laney Penn from ''WesternAnimation/{{Grojband}}''. Of course, the show makes use of having her vocal talent on the show by giving her character her own songs, as seen in the episodes "Sheila Could Use a Nap" and "Over-Flubbed" and even making it a part of her character that she's a good singer.
* CrossDressingVoices:
** Creator/JoanneVannicola as Jake Wendell.[[note]]Joanne Vannicola would later identify as non-binary, but at the time they voiced the character, they did not[[/note]]
** Butch Butane is voiced by Tarah Consoli.
** In a rare man-voicing-woman example, Creator/MartinRoach provides the voice of Mrs. [=McGurk=].
* CrossRegionalVoiceActing: Brandi is voiced by Creator/TaraStrong, who's based in Los Angeles. The show otherwise uses Toronto-based voice actors for the main roles.
* FollowTheLeader:
** The style of this show (right down to the animation) is quite similar to a Creator/SethMacFarlane cartoon, albeit slightly less raunchy. Funny to think about, as this show was launched by a former ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons'' writer and a show that is sometimes viewed as a knock-off is ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy''.
** Also that of ''Series/GilligansIsland'': Premise of a bunch of characters trapped, spend most episodes with hair-brained schemes to get out which some "almost" work, but foiled usually by a very unlucky/inconvenient circumstance.
* ScrewedByTheNetwork: MTV continually screwed around with the show, shifting its timeslots and giving it wonky premiere times (that they rarely bothered to advertise), which prevented it from gaining very much of an audience and quickly resulted in its cancellation.
