* ActingForTwo: Creator/JaniceKawaye voices both Kim and [[CrossDressingVoices Kam]]. Other voice actors voiced multiple characters as well.
* AdoredByTheNetwork: At least, leading up to its premiere. The show was greenlight for [[https://www.cartoonbrew.com/old-brew/the-less-you-know-2298.html a full season order after the pitch]], not having to go through the production of a pilot or audience testing. The series premiere was also a full-blown musical event held in Atlanta.
* CrossDressingVoices: Small Fire as Lil' D, Creator/JaniceKawaye as Kam, Creator/TomKenny as Ms. Squattenchowder
* TheDanza: Phil [=LaMarr=] as Philly Phil.
* DawsonCasting: All the kids are voiced by adults, like ''WesternAnimation/CodenameKidsNextDoor''.
* HeAlsoDid:
** Head writer Meghan [=McCarthy=] would go on to be story editor for ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'', as well as showrunner after Creator/LaurenFaust's departure.
** Writer Dave Polsky created ''WesternAnimation/TheBuzzOnMaggie'' before working on ''Class of 3000''. Afterwards, he'd join [=McCarthy=] on ''Friendship is Magic'' as a regular writer until the sixth season, at which point he became the producer for ''WebAnimation/HanazukiFullOfTreasures''.
* KeepCirculatingTheTapes:
** The series can be found on iTunes, but the second season is incomplete, missing several episodes.[[note]]''The Cure'', ''You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yeti'', ''Vote Sunny'', ''Kam Inc.'', and ''Two to Tango''.[[/note]]
** A full soundtrack for Season 2 was never released, meaning the only way to hear the songs from that season is to hunt down the episodes themselves. As mentioned above, this is harder for the episodes not officially available on iTunes.
* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed: Jeff Glen Bennett voices Eddie's butler in the same manner as George Takei's Star Trek character, a refined man by the name of [[Series/StarTrekTheOriginalSeries Sulu]].
* NoExportForYou: Class of 3000 has the rare honor of being the first Cartoon Network original production not to be broadcast in Latin America in any way, since it came at the time when the Latin American subsidiary began to operate independently of the American one, and considered not viable by the feed due to its launch circumstances and content, in relation to what the channel broadcast. In this case, a program that premiered days after the cancellation of WesternAnimation/HiHiPuffyAmiYumi, a very popular show in Latin America, and the two shows were similar in content. Therefore I don't even go through dubbing processes.
* NonSingingVoice: During the song "We Want Your Soul" from the episode "The Devil and Li'l D", André provides the singing voice of Big D and (for the soundtrack) Li'l D, whereas their speaking voices are respectively Creator/KevinMichaelRichardson and Small Fire.
** During "Cool Kitty" from "Prank Yankers", Creator/JenniferHale provided the speaking voice of Kaylie, and Creator/CreeSummer provided her singing voice. Crystal Scales did her own singing voice for Tamika for almost the whole song, while some parts were done by Creator/TaraStrong, who fully voiced [=MacKenzie=].
* OneBookAuthor: While not the only thing she's done, this is Small Fire's only voice acting role.
* TheOtherDarrin: On the show's official soundtrack for Season 1, André 3000 sings for Lil' D's parts in "We Want Your Soul", replacing Small Fire.
* PopCultureUrbanLegends: That the show's cancellation was a result of ScrewedByTheLawyers. While there was certainly a lawsuit in which [[https://pitchfork.com/news/34239-andre-3000-sued-for-allegedly-stealing-class-of-3000/ someone claimed that André stole his idea]], and that he had previously pitched the concept to Cartoon Network back in the 1990s, not only was the case ultimately thrown out due to the only real similarity between the projects being that they're music-based cartoons, but ''Class of 3000'' had also ended production a year prior to the filing. What actually killed the show [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/42346299/653147397 according to those that worked on it]] was budgetary constraints (it cost too much relative to the ratings) and struggles with André submitting songs on-time due to him still having an active career as a professional musician. The fact that Cartoon Network as a whole had recently gotten new executives that wished to take the channel [[NetworkDecay in a different direction]] likely didn't help either.
