* Believe it or not, there are still t-shirts being made out of Sly's CatchPhrase, "Ba-boom!".
* There is a fan site which is frequently updated and has a large following, in addition to providing lots of info for longtime fans and new fans alike.
* FakeNationality: Filipino American Jennie Kwan played Chinese exchange student Sam.
* NonSingingVoice: Not counting Michael Cade who played Sly the manager, or Diana Uribe as Lorena, all the cast members in the band sang and played their instruments except for Aaron Jackson who played Mark - his singing voice was provided by Zachary Throne. Jackson, however, did play his own instrument. Oddly enough, Jackson can actually sing in real lifeā€¦
** Jay Anthony Franke's voice was dubbed by Barry Coffing with the exception of Season 2's "Vote of Confidence"; which marks the only time we hear Franke's actual voice during the song "Leather and Loose", with Franke's voice sounding closer to what one would expect for a more rock or possibly country sound. One possible explanation is that both Coffing and Thorne had been cast members on the short-lived 1992 Creator/FOX series The Heights; which premiered during the same season as California Dreams and had Steve Tyrell handling music directing responsibilities on both series.
* OutOfOrder: Several episodes filmed for season 3 weren't shown until the middle of season 4. This is incredibly obvious since the fourth season's official couples, Tiffani/Jake and Sam/Tony, are all of a sudden single and dating other people. An earlier and very noticeable example was "Dirty Dog Days" from season 2, was originally broadcast as the 17th episode of the season... and featured the unexplained presence of Jenny 14 episodes after she had officially left the show in "Ciao Jenny".
* OutOfFocus: According to the California Dreams Wiki, this is why Brent Gore (Matt) chose to leave after Season 2.
** Multiple late Season 2 episodes mess with continuity mostly due to them featuring a romantic subplot for Tiffani or Jake after they were together, or simply not acknowledging the relationship when they tend to be SickeninglySweethearts
* : Reruns are being aired on TV. And for Canadian fans of the show, they are aired on Creator/MuchMusic at 5:00am, 5:30am, and 5:00pm EST.
** After 2013, Creator/MTV Canada has began airing it.
* ReunionShow: The cast reunited and performed on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in March 2010 to celebrate the show's 18-year anniversary, 13 years (up until that time) after it ended. Aaron Jackson and Diana Uribe -- the Season 3 newbies who played Mark Winkle and Lorena Costa, respectively -- were not present, however. You can watch it here; all credit goes to Jay Anthony Franke (a.k.a. Jake Sommers) for uploading it on his Youtube channel!
* RevolvingDoorCasting: See RevolvingDoorBand on the Main page. But yes, the actors who were there since the beginning and have remained on the show until its finale were: Michael Cade (Sly), Kelly Packard (Tiffani), and William James Jones (Tony).
