* ChannelHop:
** From Creator/{{CBS}} (1955-60) to Creator/{{NBC}} (1960-62), then back to CBS (1962-64) and once again to NBC (1964-65).

* DirectedByCastMember: Surprisingly, only 17 episodes were directed by the Master himself, usually only if they had actors he especially enjoyed working with ("Wet Saturday") or were stories close to him for one reason or another (the ''Film/RearWindow'' AffectionateParody "Mr. Blanchard's Secret").
* MissingEpisode: "The Sorcerer's Apprentice"--which ends with a "slow" magician's assistant about to enthusiastically try out [[spoiler:the sawing in half trick]] on the magician's wife--was deemed by the sponsors to be too gory, so it was skipped in the original run. The unedited version was however shown in its entirety in syndication. It can also be found on many public domain dvd sets.
* RealLifeRelative:
** Sisters [[Creator/VeronicaCartwright Veronica]] and Angela Cartwright played sisters in "The Schartz-Metterklume Method".
** Creator/AlfredHitchcock's daughter Patricia appeared in ten episodes.
