The General actually is a real character that appeared in a licensed ''Series/DoctorWho'' novel, [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prisoner_of_the_Daleks "Prisoner of the Daleks"]] In that novel, he actually displayed most of the characteristics he has in the fic. He [[BadBoss killed Daleks]] under his command for being inefficient, and was described as [[TheDreaded the Devil in Dalek form]]. The novel ends with the Doctor leaving the General, otherwise known as Dalek X, on an abandoned planet, but not before Dalek X swears to hunt the Doctor down.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: The original idea for the story had Sec appear on [[Franchise/LyricalNanoha Mid-childa]].
