''Now. Here. This.'' is an autobiographical musical by the same creative team who created the autobiographical musical ''Theatre/TitleOfShow''. Instead of chronicling the relatively straightforward story of its own creation like its creator, ''Now. Here. This.'' is a collection of sketches and vignettes detailing events in the lives of the four cast members, from children to adults, and how those events led them to the present day.

!!!This musical contains examples of

* AttentionWhore: Heidi, who has a song ("Give Me Your Attention"), about how desperately she craved attention as a kid and the sometimes destructive lengths she would go to in order to get it.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Hunter, with the song "Archer" being one of the greatest examples:
-->Wouldn't it be awesome if inside that shell he had a minifridge full of shrimp cocktail? Maybe a puffy couch, a lava lamp, or a comfy bed with thousand-count sheets, just like the bedding at the W Hotel, where I stay all the time with Archer. I don't really know what the W stands for, but I think it's maybe Woman or Weston. I don't know. Things are really crazy since the wedding day, 'cause Archer's upstate building the cabin. He's usually out on the yacht or writing books when he's not fighting dragons in space.
* ExtracurricularEnthusiast: Susan as a teenager, according to "I Rarely Schedule Nothing"
* {{Gayngst}}: A surprising amount; Jeff's early song "Dazzle Camouflage" is all about how he tried to hide his sexuality as a teenager.
* IAmSong: "That'll Never Be Me"
* MusicalisInterruptus: A few times, a cast member will interrupt their own song or another person's song with "Pause!" followed by a brief anecdote in some way relating to the number.
* TheElevenOClockNumber: "This Time"
* TrueCompanions: As voiced in "Then Comes You".
* WellDoneSonGuy: Heidi's relationship, and unspoken contract, with her father.
