* The epilogue of ''Ikaruga'', wherein Shinra and Kagari disable their respective ships' PowerLimiter to destroy the Stone-Like. Furthermore, the ComputerVoice in the Ikaruga and Ginkei that has been speaking throughout the game cautions its pilots for their actions, yet beneath its surface, the voice shows it has all the telltale signs of a BenevolentAI:
-->"Release the restrain device. Using the released power may result in the possibility of destruction of the ship."
-->"You did your best. Was I helpful for you?"
-->"I am deeply grateful to you."
** Even more so when you realize what happens during the last barrage: neither Shinra or Kagari ''knew'' if their HeroicSacrifice worked or not - the Ikaruga and Ginkei are annihilated mere seconds before the Stone-Like explodes.
** Just the fact this game provides a BittersweetEnding: with the Stone-Like destroyed, the EternalRecurrence StableTimeLoop established at the DownerEnding of ''VideoGame/RadiantSilvergun'' has finally been averted. Humanity is no longer at the mercy of the ArtifactOfDoom plaguing them for [[TimeAbyss countless cycles]]. Though Shinra and Kagari die to achieve this, they AscendToAHigherPlaneOfExistence, knowing humanity is all the better without some all-powerful force manipulating them.
** The RecurringRiff heard in the credits as a melancholic, sad and somber tune only adds to how the story comes full circle.
