[[folder:Anime and Manga]]
* Pretty much all of Manga/TonariNoSekiKun. Watch and/or read it. And it will make you smile.
* A lot of the works of OsamuTezuka are full of Sweet Dreams Fuel, especially ''Anime/AstroBoy'' and ''{{Unico}}''. However, his work tends to have just as much of [[NightmareFuel the other side]] as well.
* ''Manga/MahouSenseiNegima''. Any moment that shows Evangeline [[TheWoobie isn't really as evil as she wants people to think]], and any of the goofing-off arcs (especially the Summer arc right after Mahorafest).
** Chachamaru's pactio. The way Negi tells her to believe (in him who believes in her) and then practically shouts at whoever oversees the pactios "Who the hell do you think I am?!", followed by Chachamaru looking at the card like her newborn daughter.
* ''Anime/BinchouTan'' is capable of awakening warm fuzzy feelings on anyone, through its unspeakably cute characters and GhibliHills.
* ''ChisSweetHome''. Can't really get more specific than that; [[http://www.new-anime.com/images/chi%27s-sweet-home_2.jpg she's such a cute]] [[CuteKitten KITTY!]] :3
** Not to mention the lovely, simplistic watercolour artstyle.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCq_XyMbvhc The Lite opening]] to ''LightNovel/ChuunibyouDemoKoiGaShitai!'' is quite calming.
* ''Manga/AzumangaDaioh'', even though Sakaki keeps on being bitten by cats. It's a bit weird when you know what would happen if someone ''actually'' got bitten by a cat, though.
** It only makes the moments with Maya all the sweeter.
** The part where Kaorin does the folk dance with Sakaki. It's the perfect mix between funny and adorable.
** The entire Chiyo-chan in a penguin sequence. Sure she is abused a little bit, but she is so incredibly adorable.
*** Chiyo-chan in general. Take the scene where Sakaki first meets Tadakichi-san: she comments that Chiyo could ride on his back, as she's just about the right size to do so. Turns out, she's already done so, and it's ''adorable''.
** Any scene with Osaka in it. Yes, even the [[NightmareFuelStationAttendant creepier ones]]. If you think she isn't adorable, you're either lying or you haven't seen enough of her personality yet.
*** "Do you like Taiyaki pastries, Chiyo-chan?"
* Also, ''{{Yotsubato}}!''.
** A single chapter, any chapter, in the evening is enough to make the day better. The publication of a new chapter makes my week.
** The recent chapters involving Yotsuba and her first teddy-bear, Duralumin, have caused particularly soppy grins at times.
* ''Literature/ArashiNoYoruNi''. A film about the beautiful friendship between a goat and wolf and their journey to [[EarnYourHappyEnding Earn Their Happy Ending.]] Always gives me sweet dreams and [[SceneryPorn the scenery is absolutely mind-blowing!]]
* ''{{Pokemon}}'': A heart so true...our courage will pull us through! You'll teach me and I'll teach you...
** Most scenes with Ash and his Pikachu are adorable, [[http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pikachu_ash_5375.jpg especially when they hug]]
** [[http://25.media.tumblr.com/8702ab5386d72df2f1b3a1d775e0bd5c/tumblr_mw0uzuU5jc1rmm08ro1_400.gif Pika chu!]]
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjyL2Wooh9Q Jigglypuff's song]].
%% * ''Anime/BottleFairy''
* ''Manga/CardcaptorSakura''. Both the manga and anime just make me feel so gooey inside. Even the commanding imperiousness of Yue the Judge, the silver moon spirit that took almost sadistic satisfaction in making hell for Sakura and Syaoran, is lost in the face of him being just so damn [[http://www.wordwrights.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/yue.jpg sugary sparkly pretty.]]
* ''Manga/HayateTheCombatButler''. For such an insane widget series, it has a lot of drama, heartwarming moments and almost all the characters, even the most flawed ones are likable (well, except Hayate's parents) and everyone has so much chemistry between each other. Any scene between Hinagiku and Hayate is bound to leave anyone feeling good and willing to do the same acts of love towards their loved ones that Hayate and Hinagiku do for each other.
* ''Anime/StellviaOfTheUniverse''. It's basically Manga/AzumangaDaioh in space, with awesome spaceship scenes and not one, but TWO instances of all humanity uniting to save the solar system.
* ''Manga/{{Slayers}}''. It's light, funny, heartwarming, and still manages to be engaging. After the first story arc, I wanted to live in that world. ^_^
** Considering most Mazoku are NightmareFuel and [[DisneyDeath Lina dies]] at least once per season? And don't forget the novel's graphic depictions of Mazoku-induced BodyHorror.
* ''Manga/KannazukiNoMiko'' is so dreamy and Chikane-chan is so cute, [[TooMuchInformation I want to be Himeko]]. [[spoiler: No, I'm not being sarcastic. This is Sugar Wiki, after all.]]
* ''Manga/BinbouShimaiMonogatari'', Kyou and Asu's relationship is just so sweet and heartwarming. Especially, in the (much longer) manga which among other things includes a happy version of "Literature/TheLittleMatchGirl" with them as the title character. Kinko and Ginko's relationship is almost as sweet. Also, deep down everyone is [[RousseauWasRight is a nice person]]. [[spoiler: Yes, even their father]].
* ''Manga/YokohamaKaidashiKikou'', a slice-of-life series composed of lovely and heartwarming moments, set AfterTheEnd. Not even kidding.
* ''Manga/GirlFriends!'' The {{Gayngst}} and WillTheyOrWontThey may be agonizing at times, but that only makes every little moment Mari and Akko have together sweeter.
* Although ''{{Manga/Mushishi}}'' has its moments of NightmareFuel, its overall effect is incredibly relaxing, especially Travis Willingham's dub work as Ginko.
* Ditto for ''Anime/DennouCoil'' - it's basically ''MyNeighborTotoro'' with computers.
* The ending of ''{{Manga/Pretear}}''. [[spoiler: Everyone lives happily ever after. The villain is not defeated, but [[LoveRedeems redeemed]], and even she gets to live happily ever after with the man who loved her enough to die for her.]]
* ''Manga/NatsumeYuujinchou'' has a lot of this too, being basically ''Mushishi'' with even more heart-warming... And {{Tear Jerker}}s too, but that just makes the fuzzy all the fuzzier.
* When ''Manga/OuranHighSchoolHostClub'' isn't making you laugh from the sheer ridiculousness of its melodramatic comedy, it's warming your icy heart by devoting episodes to reuniting couples torn apart by circumstance or showing just how much the other hosts actually care about Haruhi at the end of the day.
%% * ''LuckyStar''!
* ''Manga/KOn'': On the surface it's supposed to be about a small, four-girl (later five) high school music club...until you get to the cake. After that it's just a wild ride of {{Beach Episode}}s, Yui being TheDitz, and other activities...with maybe a bit of music for good measure.
* Creator/StudioGhibli: Any of the StudioGhibli films ''aimed at children'' are this. [[labelnote:'''(disclaimer)''']]Make sure to look up a premise to what you're watching beforehand. TV Tropes is not responsible if you're half way into Studio Ghibli's ''Anime/GraveOfTheFireflies'' before you realize it's a TearJerker about orphaned Japanese children in World War 2.[[/labelnote]] Just make sure you stay away from [[NightmareFuel/HayaoMiyazaki NightmareFuel/HayaoMiyazaki]] unless you want them potentially RuinedForever.
** ''Anime/MyNeighborTotoro'', a SliceOfLife movie about a loving family consisting of two young sisters, an attentive father, and a mother who is sick in the hospital (but getting better). And the furry, friendly supernatural critters the girls befriend.
** ''Anime/KikisDeliveryService''. An adorable young witch in a wonderful coming-of-age story, ''three'' loving mother characters, a surprising and beautiful change of pace when Kiki spends the night with Ursula, SceneryPorn worthy of the Louvre, and a heroic rescue at the end. And a cat romance. The whole movie is like the cup of hot coffee/chocolate Osono gives Kiki when they meet.
** ''Anime/WhisperOfTheHeart''. A sweet slice-of-life romance between two young people. The "Country Roads" scene in the violin shop is enough to make even a hardened macho dude sniff.
** Ditto its quasi-sequel ''Anime/TheCatReturns'' - yes, there are some tense moments, but all in all the fantastical nature of the story, the beautiful visuals, and the wonderful EarWorm ending song combine to make you just feel *happy* after watching it.
** ''Anime/TheCastleOfCagliostro.'' A fun, exciting, feel-good adventure film that is often a [[GatewaySeries gateway movie]] for the ''Franchise/LupinIII'' franchise as a whole.
* ''Manga/ShinryakuIkaMusume'' has the title Ika Musume (squid-girl) planing to invade the world, because humans pollute the ocean. Though she might not have been successful with that, the show has invaded your heart. And also causes ''AwesomenessWithdrawal'' because it's that awesome.
* Despite the characters living in something of a nasty, dangerous world, what makes ''Manga/OnePiece'' good is that it's still full of Sweet Dreams Fuel of all kinds. It's loaded with [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments hilarious]] and [[SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments positively warm and fuzzy]] scenes. And you always come out of reading it feeling NO ONE is alone, and that your true friends will care about, protect, and stay by your side no matter what, and that miracles happen and nothing is really impossible.
** You will have trouble finding something more awesome and uplifting than [[spoiler: Luffy beating the ever-loving snot out of Arlong and ending the battle by breaking his base ''in half with one kick''.]] * sniff* So awesome...
** The Water 7/ Enie's Lobby arc. Even though it has a lot of depressing parts, it also has the appearance of Sogeking, Luffy going 'LEEE-ROOOOOOOOOOOOOY JENKINS!' on [[spoiler: Enie's Lobby]] and [[spoiler:''declaring war on the World Government to prove he won't abandon one of his crew'']]. [[TacoNinja This one]] cheered. One Piece is very good at taking all the depressing moments and turning them into [[SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome Moments of Awesome]].
** At one point in the story the straw hats travel to a world in the sky where nearly everything is made of clouds. Those cloud beds are probably literal sweet dream fuel.
* ''{{Anime/Macross7}}'', a lot of it, but especially the scene in Episode 37 when [[spoiler: it's revealed that "the Sign of Peace" that a door locked with a riddle requires in the [[ThePrecursors Protoculture]] ruins is a half-breed, someone born of two parents from two different races.]] That's when you realize in full force that humanity was nearly annhiliated by the Zentradi, a race of giants that knew only war and destruction, just a few years ago, and they were literally [[ThePowerOfLove LOVED INTO SUBMISSION]]... and that it's all happening again, with what what was thought to be a soul-devouring EldritchHorror about to be [[HeelFaceTurn saved]] by ThePowerOfRock. All to the notes of the incredibly aptly-named [[SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic Power to the Dream]].
* ''Manga/SketDance''. The friendships. The endless and unique humor. The adorable characters. The endlessly cute and heartwarming relationship between Bossun and Himeko. This manga WILL make your day better.
* ''Anime/HaibaneRenmei''. There's something about Rakka waking up and seeing everyone else just smiling at her.
* ''Manga/IchigoMashimaro''. The two sisters, the weird neighbor, the innocent girl and the British girl who can't speak English. There's a laugh in almost every scene with this group.
* ''Manga/FruitsBasket'' is a great thing to watch marathon-style while in the depths of depression. It's basically a giant HurtComfortFic. The manga is better story-wise (and, you know, complete), but the anime is better spiritual ice cream binge material.
** For that matter, what about the ending of the manga, after [[spoiler:Tohru and Kyo hook up? Folks pair up with the people they've been in love with, the Zodiac curse is broken so they ''can'' show affection, we see that Kyoko was reunited with her husband in the afterlife, Akito is able to move on, and Tohru and Kyo end up HappilyMarried.]]
* ''Anime/ManabiStraight''. Seeing everyone work together to make the school festival a reality is just so {{SugarWiki/heartwarming|Moments}}.
* The Read or Dream manga is very much a LighterAndSofter version of ''Anime/ReadOrDie'' focusing on the everyday life of the Paper Sisters, three characters who interact excellently and very obviously care a lot about eachother. As a result the series consists entirely of this. The same goes for large parts of ''RODTheTV''.
* ''Anime/TengenToppaGurrenLagann''. Some series just make you feel better to be alive.
** Nia. She's one of the only MoeMoe characters who''doesn't'' invoke revlusion from hardcore {{Mecha}} fanboys, partly because she's in one of the greatest recent mecha series, and partly because she's just too [[CutenessProximity cute]] and [[TheWoobie sympathetic]] to hate. She gets even cuter in the dub, where [[WesternAnimation/TeenTitans Starfire]] voices her.
*** Most of the protagonists are like this. Even [[CampGay Leeron]]. ''Especially'' [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments Leeron]].
* Pretty much any GirlsLove manga by MiyabiFujieda: ''AmeiroKouchakanKandan'', ''IonoTheFanatics'', ''TheMikosWordsAndTheWitchesIncantations''... Warmth and fuzziness are guaranteed.
* ''Manga/BunnyDrop'' is like a more low-key ''Yotsuba&!'', complete with requisite SugarWiki/{{Heartwarming Moment|s}} per chapter.
* ''Together With Master'', a one-shot shoujo-ai Manga that has a lot of sweetness to it without being [[TastesLikeDiabetes Diabetic]]. The twist in the ending helps take the edge off some of that sweetness.
* ''Manga/{{FLCL}}''. It's like MindRape, but in the opposite direction--your brain is just as broken, and you're just as confused, but you feel ''good''. Not really sure why, though.
* ''Anime/{{Eureka 7}}'', without a doubt. ThePowerOfLove is practically the show's central theme, after all.
** But watch out for grains of NightmareFuel, such as [[spoiler: the arm in Episode 20, Charles dying, Eureka getting petrified, Eureka pre-evolution, Hap sitting on the toilet naked, Coralians, typeZERO's rolling eyes, Anemone eating jam...]] Yeah, just be careful with it, ok?
* ThePowerOfLove and ThePowerOfFriendship are central themes in ''Franchise/SailorMoon''; when they're not fighting monsters, they're just teen girls hanging out, and some funny moments and sweet scenes of conversations between the girls are Sweet Dreams Fuel. Its humor is a good thing for it, and then sometimes OffModel-wacky art style adds to its charm to some.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTwQrpyRhxE This image song]]. The image songs for the girls also bring a smile.
* Anytime a ''Anime/CodeGeass'' character does anything genuinely sweet or romantic. Also, anytime Lelouch actually smiles for real (and any fanart that shows him doing so counts as well). And, any (non-violent) scene of any character(s) as a child/children!
* ''Anime/WindyTales''. A few kids learn how to [[BlowYouAway control the wind]], and have fun playing with it together. Cats can fly. Girls can float. The bond between friends is nigh-unbreakable. Soft, relaxing music. A gorgeous, highly experimental art style. All wrapped up in one ThirteenEpisodeAnime that shows both the bitter and sweet sides of growing up--but likes to lean toward the sweet.
* ''{{Anime/Kamichu}}''. A SliceOfLife about an [[OrdinaryHighSchoolStudent ordinary middle school girl]] who [[AGodAmI becomes a god]], and lets her life continue mostly as usual. The characters actually look and act their age, there is pretty much zero fanservice, and the backgrounds are pure SceneryPorn. Any conflicts that arise are resolved within an episode, and several things happen just because they can--a WWE-esque cat wrestling match? Sure, sounds like fun. Amazingly relaxing.
* The ending of ''Anime/KaleidoStar'' (the first season).
* Every episode of ''{{Manga/Sketchbook}}'' is [[SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments heartwarming]] and relaxing. And then the [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments hilarity]] goes up to eleven once [[FunnyForeigner Kate]] shows up.
* ''{{Manga/Mokke}}''. The relationship between the sisters Shizuru and Mizuki is so heartwarming, and even their realistically portrayed occasional bickering can't put any dents in that. Sure, some of the ghosts are scary, but in the end their appearance only seems to enrich the two girls' lives.
* ''Anime/UmiMonogatari''. Similarly to {{Manga/Pretear}}, it starts out adorable and gets rather dark near the end. But it's okay, because [[spoiler: Everyone lives]]. Even the [[spoiler: BittersweetEnding]] is just [[SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments so sweet]].
** The [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2C4GD0VAkw opening theme]] can cause sweet dreams.
** Don't forget the shrine maiden's song. While the lyrics are somewhat dark, the singing itself is beautiful. It's an in-universe example, too, calming troubled souls.
* ''Manga/HanamaruKindergarten''. It's... oh, my God, if you could weaponize cuteness, this show would be freakin' lethal.
* ''Anime/DigimonTamers'' is ''dark'', but also outdoes the other seasons in terms of ''sheer cuteness factor''. Culumon is just... It has to be among the most "awwwww" inducing critters. Guilmon's personality is utterly adorable outside of battle, Terriermon needs not be said ("Moumantai~"), Lopmon's frown doesn't make him less cute, and then [=MarineAngemon=] is introduced. ''Cuteness overload''.
* ''{{Manga/Minami-ke}}'' deserves mention, a funny and cute series involving the love of three sisters and their daily lives in their own schools and as a family. Full of funny moments and heartwarming moments as well.
* While ''MagicalGirlLyricalNanoha'' has its darker moments, the show simply has such strong themes of forgiveness, second chances and acceptance that it ultimately becomes this.
* Any of the AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther moments between Ranma and Akane on ''Manga/RanmaOneHalf''.
* ''Anime/TimeOfEve'': If you don't feel some sort of Hope for humanity/[[WhatMeasureIsANonhuman non-humanity]] you... well you probably still have a soul in some way.
* ''[[Manga/AhMyGoddess Oh My Goddess!]]''. [[NiceGuy An]] [[MagicalGirlfriend honestly]] [[SingleWomanSeeksGoodMan romantic couple]], three truly close sisters, and a sweet, homey feel add up to over twenty years' worth of warm-tea-with-honey feelings. The five-episode OVA '''alone''' will fill you with amazing feelings.
* ''Manga/KimiNiTodoke'': shy, socially awkward girl with low self-esteem gradually opens up and makes loads of great friends thanks to the influence of the ''nicest'' most-popular-boy-in-school you ever saw... and she does it without having to change who she is. It's ''adorable''.
* Angelic Layer, a lot of the music in the anime will easily make you smile and the main character Misaki Suzuhara is simply adorable and lovable. Seeing so many people from different walks of life become friends thanks to her and the Angelic Layer game will bring a smile to anyone.
* ''Manga/WanderingSon''. Behind the constant TearJerker moments is a cute, inspiring manga about two kids who just want to be themselves while being adorable.
* ''Manga/SasamekiKoto'', when not bogging itself down with angst, is fun and cute and it stars two adorable girls who [[GirlsLove will make an adorable couple]] [[ArcFatigue when they finally get together]].
* ''{{Anime/Tamayura}}''. Four girls on their quest toward adulthood, following their dreams, all while enjoying springtime in their beautiful seaside town. It makes one want to move to [[RealPlaceBackground Takehara]] just to enjoy the view every day.
* ''Manga/PandoraHearts'' may be a dark and violent manga, but Lacie, the nostalgic melody from the pocketwatch is definitely Sweet Dreams Fuel. And this series is heavily based on ''Literature/AliceInWonderland'' and ''Literature/ThroughTheLookingGlass'', after all, so the whole thing gives me a happy, nostalgic feeling.
* ''Manga/MaisonIkkoku'', otherwise known as ThePowerOfLove meets CharacterDevelopment. Seeing the ways that the characters slowly grow and mature makes the happy ending feel so *right*.
* All this and no mention of RozenMaiden? Ladies and gentlemen, the sweetheart that will infect your dreams with cute, [[http://www.cosplayisland.co.uk/files/costumes/1310/21303/hinaichigo_921.jpg I give you Hinaichigo, the 6th Rozen Maiden]]
* ''VisualNovel/{{Clannad}}''. If you're ever feeling depressed or agitated, look at [[http://img3.lln.crunchyroll.com/i/spire1/1b60ce51530c097e12d9d69e7cb64cdd1238240390_full.png this picture]]. Seeing Nagisa and the rest of the girls sweetly smiling and beaming up at you is bound to help you relax.
** But that picture has [[CuteGhostGirl Fu]][[TearJerker ko]]...
* ''Manga/{{Chobits}}''. Some parts of the series are admittedly [[WhatMeasureIsANonHuman very]] [[ContemplateOurNavels serious]] (and, well, perverted), but most of it is the adorable antics of cute robot girls and a couple of intertwining love stories. What really makes it Sweet Dreams Fuel, though, is the atmosphere: the visuals are soft, pretty, and mostly pastel-colored, and the soundtrack alternates between sugary-sweet and soothingly peaceful.
* While it starts out (and doesn't stop) with NightmareFuel, ''Manga/FullmetalAlchemist'' as a whole (especially [[spoiler:the HappilyEverAfter]]) has a very uplifting message that you'll find yourself repeating when you feel like nothing's going your way:
-->'''Edward Elric:''' There's no such thing as a painless lesson. They just don't exist. Sacrifices are necessary; you can't gain anything without losing something first. Although, if you can endure that pain, and walk away from it, you'll find that you have a heart strong enough to overcome any obstacle. Yeah. [[spoiler:A heart made fullmetal.]]
* Virtually everything by TanakaYutaka. ''Manga/MyLovelyGhostKana'' especially. ''Manga/AiRen'' is Bittersweet, but the overwhelming message is one of hope. Virgin Night is full of heartwarming short stories. (And a bit of bittersweetness.) ''Manga/MimiaHime'' is a fairy tale built on heartwarming and SceneryPorn.
* ''{{Manga/Mahoraba}}'' is a funny, heartwarming and strangely weird SliceOfLife where every chapter is guaranteed to make you go "D'awwwww!" at least once. The characters are all absolutely [[MoeMoe adorable]] and the ending wraps everything up like a big hug in a warm sweater.
* ''Anime/ALittleSnowFairySugar'' certainly qualifies. The night I began watching the show, I literally dreamed that Saga was playing my favorite songs on her piano with Sugar right next to me.
* The anime version of ''[[Anime/TheIdolmaster THE iDOLM@STER]]''. Almost every episode has AnAesop and leaves you with a good feeling about their world.
* ''Manga/RistoranteParadiso.'' Yes, it's a show about a damn near MarySuetopia of a restaurant. Yes, said restaurant is called [[TastesLikeDiabetes "Cottage of the Bear."]] But it's so sweet and nice that eventually you give in and get your sugar addiction on. My particular favorite episodes are the birthday parties of one of the chefs' son and the owner's wife.
* ''{{Manga/Nichijou}}'', it's a light hearted comedy about how awesome everyday life is. With [[SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic beautiful classical music]] and an [[CheerfulChild eight-year-old]] MadScientist who built a {{Moe}} robot. That alone should tell you how ridiculously happy the anime is, and then you get to the last few episodes showing you [[TrueCompanions just how great having friends really is]].
** For some reason, the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIhqm7SQ6QM original ending song and animation]] reminds me of HBO Family's Storybook segments.
* ''Manga/FairyTail''. This show, which is about a group of wizards fighting evil, is totally awesome and filled with heartwarming moments. It makes me really happy and never fails to bring on the "aww!" moments.
* ''Manga/ShirokumaCafe''. It's a relaxing SliceOfLife manga about a polar bear, the cafe he runs, and the quirky patrons to come to his cafe.
* ''Manga/AcchiKocchi''. Tsumiki Miniwa...the girl has to be the most adorable anime character I've ever seen. What with the Cat Ears that constantly pop up and whatnot.
* ''{{Anime/Tsuritama}}''. Haru is a [[ManicPixieDreamGirl Manic Pixie Dream]] {{Keet}} BFF from space who [[ThePowerOfFriendship gets three lonely boys to come out of their shell]] and save the world by fishing together. An unashamedly happy-go-lucky fairytale on drugs. Enjoy!
* [[http://www.classicgameroom.com/images/Happy%20Happy%20Clover%20-%20Nintendo%20DS00004.jpg Tatsuyama Sayuri's "Happy Happy Clover" anime and manga is fond of this trope.]] Especially if your a [[BunnyTropes bunny]] [[BunniesForCuteness lover.]]
* ''Manga/HidamariSketch''. Long before ''[[MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic My Little Pony]]'', this show proved that, yes indeed, friendship is magic. [[TastesLikeDiabetes And diabetes-inducing.]]
* ''Anime/GirlsUndPanzer''. PowerOfFriendship? * ''[[{{VideoGame/Neptunia}} Hyperdimension Neptunia The Animation]]'' is an easy candidate with constant laughs and just heart warming moments. Every character will try to make you love them and just wait until the absolutely hilarious and adorable Peashy shows up.
* ''{{Manga/ARIA}}'' is a well-known example due to its [[{{Iyashikei}} calm and easy-going nature]], SceneryPorn and lovely character interactions.
* ''HeatGuyJ'' may just be the cuddliest and most heart-warming crime drama in existence. The protagonist is an AllLovingHero, his android partner is {{Adorkable}}, and even the local ''crime boss'' is cute, sympathetic, and [[EarnYourHappyEnding earns his happy ending]].
* {{Nyanpire The Animation}} [[Cutekitten has to be one of the cutest]] [[OurVampiresAreDifferent things that involves a vampire.]] The anime is about a vampire cat who befriends a samurai cat, a harmless vampire cat, and a male kitten with a huge pink bow. The anime has 12 episodes, each are silly and very cute to watch. It's also a perfect anime to watch around the Fall and Halloween season.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Comic Books]]
* ''The Toon Treasury of Classic Children's Comics'' is pure, unleaded Sweet Dreams Fuel from start to finish. Loaded with over 60 classic comics from a large variety of artists (some of whom were even [[TheGoldenAgeOfAnimation Golden Age animators!]]) binded in a pseudo-classic book like fashion. The stories feature lovely artwork and stories handpicked by industry veterans like Art Spielgelmen (who you might know as the creator of the [[NightmareFuel not-so-sweet dreams fuel]] ridden comic ComicBook/{{Maus}})--stories that they feel are worthy enough to be read by the children of today.
* There is also the Craig Yoe book ''The Golden Collection of Krazy Kool Klassic Kids' Komics'', which also has a large variety of comics from many classic artists. The story selection isn't quite as impressive as the Toon Treasury book, but it's still a worthy addition to any classic comic enthusiasts collection, a fun read for any age, and just as loaded with sweet dreams fuel.
* ''Nine Lives to Live: Felix the Cat'' [[note]] [[IThoughtYouMeant Absolutely no relation to]] ''WesternAnimation/TheNineLivesOfFritzTheCat''[[/note]] is a wonderful compilation of Sunday WesternAnimation/FelixTheCat comic strips penned by his creator Creator/OttoMessmer. Rich in imagination and fantasy, Felix embarks on many escapades, loaded with fun sight gags, good characterization, all told with Otto's imaginative rubberhose art style--even his ''props'' are fun to look at! If you're a fan of Felix, this book is a must have!
* Another excellent Felix collection is the Craig Yoe book ''Felix The Cat's Greatest Comic Book Tales'', offering a selection of stories that are truly ideal for children--loaded with lovely illustrations, cute fantasy stories, funny gags, and great artwork from Otto Messmer, Joe Oriolo and even ''[[Creator/{{Terrytoons}} Jim Tyer]]''. It's also much easier to get ahold of than the ''Nine Lives to Live'' book.
* ''The Complete Milt Gross'' is yet another excellent collection from Craig Yoe, featuring a plethora of hilarious stories from one of the best comic artists of the 30's and 40's! The artwork is hilarious bizarre and full of energy, and Milt's slang and witty dialogue, as well as his funny cast of characters made this ideal for someone who wants a little more spice in their sweet dreams fuel.
* ''Mickey and the Gang: Classic Stories in Verse'' is a truly excellent, LARGE book loaded with classic Disney comics, Good Housekeeping magazine poems represented with beautiful hand-painted illustrations, and is crammed to the bursting point with trivia and information on Classic Disney. Great to read to your kids before bed, and a true treat for any fan of Classic Disney.
* ''E.C. Segar's {{Popeye}}'' anthologies are all excellent comics that have stood the passage of time. While his artwork is fairly crude, Segar created some of the most memorable characters in comic history, and his wit is as sharp as a razor. Even if you're already a fan of the Popeye cartoons, the original comics will only enhance your appreciation for the series even more.
* ''KrazyKat'' is a truly surreal, but sweet dreams fuel inducing series. Not much more to be said.
* Pretty much ''any'' comic made by Creator/WinsorMcCay will fall into this, but his legendary ''ComicStrip/LittleNemo'' comics take the cake.
* ''CalvinAndHobbes'' is pure sweet dreams fuel from start to finish, loaded with great artwork, truly imaginative stories, and some of the richest, funniest characters to ever grace the comics page.
* ''ComicBook/SpiderManLovesMaryJane'': This is the tonic to ''One More Day''. Adorable, well-written, [[{{WAFF}} enjoyably fluffy]], and barely {{wangst}}y at all despite being about a teenage girl in high school... a nice change from the ordinary comics fare.
%% * The chibi Endless from ComicBook/TheSandman and spin-off comics.
* ''TinyTitans'': Aw yeah, Tiny Titans! If you're depressed by the team's sky-high body count and the book's downward spiral, please check out this book. Who ever thought Trigon could be even remotely adorable?
* ''{{Supergirl}}: Cosmic Adventures in the 8th Grade'': Supergirl, her sort-of-evil clone and Lex Luthor's kid sister get into wacky hijinks. Just the thing if you're feeling stressed.
* ''ScottPilgrim'': Once you get past [[EverybodyWasKungFuFighting everyone fighting]] and all the [[ReferenceOverdosed video game and music references]] the series is essentially a funny and sweet story about two people changing their shallow relationship habits so that they can work out together.
* ''Enfants, c'est l'Hydragon qui passe''. A tenderhearted story about a boy, his father, and a cool boat.
* Every scene in ''ComicBook/TheSandman'' where [[DontFearTheReaper Death]] shows up is this. Yes, even though she's ''Death''.
* ''Owly'': An adorable comic involving a friendly owl and the animal friends he makes, relying on only visuals and word balloons with pictures in them to get its messages of friendship across.
* ''Superman''. Has there been a hero who's brought this much hope to people? He's a MessianicArchetype, TheParagon, TheCape, basically the ideal hero. He has the powers of a [[PhysicalGod God]] but never once uses them to hurt or control people. Despite the fact he get's overshadowed by ''Batman'' lately. Superman has always been synonomous with [[HopeBringer Hope]].
* The Amazing Spider-Man vol. 3 Number 1 is the happiest comic ever written, just the image of the nicest person in the marvel universe alive and smiling is so universaly radiant. The coimc itself is about Peter Parker finding a new lease on life, fixing any damages that happend, and just being happy he's alive. If ComicBook/SpiderManLovesMaryJane is the tonic for OneMoreDay, this issue is the tonic for [[SuperiorSpiderMan The Superior Spider-Man]]

[[folder:Fan Works]]
* ''Fanfic/TheLightInTheDarkness'' is considered one of the most heartwarming tells in the ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'' fandom. Its pretty much distilled escence of [[TrueCompanions the bonds of friendship between the Mane Cast]] from the series. It's gained the reputation for being Sweet Dreams Fuel enough to counteract the NightmareFuel present in ''Fanfic/{{Cupcakes}}''.
* [[http://www.fimfiction.net/user/kalash93 Kalash93]] gives us [[http://www.fimfiction.net/story/124263/1/songs-uncle-sings/sineva Songs Uncle Sings,]] a lighthearted, sweet short oneshot fic about how an uncle and a nephew bond and get to know each other through the power of music. It's all the more surprising that this little gem of feel-good innocence comes from a man whose works are not known for being the kind of thing you'd read to your children as bedtime stories.
** While we're on the topic of pony fanfics, give [[http://www.fimfiction.net/story/118430/1/how-to-preen-your-chicken/how-to-preen-your-chicken How to Preen Your Chicken]] a shot. It brings the relationship between Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo to its peak in the sweetest way possible.
* Also [[http://th07.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/f/2011/268/8/9/890c6881b4f573a0352618320fdd5ca3-d4axs62.jpg this]], though it may actually creep/gross out some.
* Wait wait wait, what?! No [[http://www.fanfiction.net/s/7434133/1/Blue-Sky Blue Sky]]?! This thing is just brimming with Dream Fuel! Compare it to the ending of [[Videogame/PortalTwo the game]], and see just how sweet it is. It will fill your heart with feels, seriously. It even has its [[Fanfic/BlueSky own page]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Film]]
* ''Film/SpeedRacer'': While already the [[SoCoolItsAwesome incarnation of pure awesomeness]], the final lap of the Grand Prix crowns all other preceding moments of awesome. As well as the last two minutes and the dramatic reveal. If you aren't overcome with the urge to reach into the screen and give a specific character (avoiding spoilers here) a hug for their sacrifice for their loved ones, then you just may not have a soul.
%% * It's a little weird to put this here, considering the rest of the movie, but the ending of RaisingArizona is this.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Up}}'': Whilst admittedly opening with a heartbreaking intro, a little further in ''everything'' suddenly becomes so relaxing, nostalgic and whimsical.
* ''Film/VanillaSky'' is one long pop culture love letter, all about the sweet and sour of life. Without the sour, the sweet wouldn't be as sweet. If you've seen the movie, you get it.
* The ''Film/BackToTheFuture'' trilogy. Even though time travel can be pretty [[NightmareFuel terrifying]] and tearjerking from time to time, it still proves that you can shape your own destiny. Plus it is filled to the brim with multiple levels of nostalgia-fueled goodness. It ''is'' the TropeNamer for ThePowerOfLove.
* Terry Pratchett's ''Discworld/{{Hogfather}}''. I, for one, boycott each, every and all Christmas movies ever (sugar-iced, honey-coated, syrupy pieces of cheap tacky feelgood...) And that one ''manages to make me cry'' four to five times every time I watch it.
** For example: [[spoiler: [[foldercontrol]]

[[folder: Death ]]
himself, in the role of the Hogfather (Discworld's version of Santa), ''saving'' Literature/TheLittleMatchgirl.]]
* Creator/AlfonsoCuaron's ''Literature/ALittlePrincess'', [[TearJerker HEART Jerking]] not withstanding.
* Am I weird if I include ''WesternAnimation/TheNightmareBeforeChristmas'' here? Because I think the characters are just adorable.
** Nope. The finale where Jack and Sally have their ending duet is a SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments and if that's not a high note for a movie to end on, then what is?
* ''MiracleOn34thStreet''.
* While the older version was good, the new ''Film/{{Hairspray}}'' is pure Sweet Dreams Fuel, from the joyous dance numbers, to its giddy optimism.
* Try, just ''try'', to watch Sigur Rós' homecoming-tour documentary ''Film/{{Heima}}'' without wanting to move to Iceland and just bask in a sea of etheral post-rock, cable-knit sweaters, and geological anomaly forever.
* Pretty much any Pixar movie. If you can watch one all the way through without smiling at least once, then you have no soul.
** Ironic that [[TrueArtIsAngsty Joss Whedon]] helped write the screenplay for [[WesternAnimation/ToyStory one]] of them. (He has said that not one of his lines actually made it into the final film; his one real contribution is the character of Rex.)
** ''WesternAnimation/MonstersInc'' is ''literal'' Sweet Dreams Fuel, by the end.
** May I direct you to [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=arOUazGZtxc this WONDERFUL tribute to Pixar]], which is not only set to the song [[Film/WillyWonkaAndTheChocolateFactory "Pure Imagination"]] (see below), but is perfectly edited to match the music and lyrics?
** ''WesternAnimation/WallE''. 'nuff said.
** WesternAnimation/FindingNemo: "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming..."
* It's nearly impossible to watch ''{{Ponyo}}'' without saying the word "cute" to whomever you are watching it with at least once.
* ''TheLandBeforeTime'', typical of a Don Bluth film, has its tragic moments, but it balances it with some of the most beautiful portrayals of maternal and filial love ever shown on film. The soundtrack only makes it all the more heartwarming...
* ''WesternAnimation/HowToTrainYourDragon''. Basically any scene with Toothless is this but especially the scene [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzxeKHA_jOw where he and Hiccup bond for the first time]] and definitely the ending.
* The end of ''ItsAWonderfulLife'' looks cheesy and cliche if taken out of context, but taken with the rest of the film it makes excellent Christmas-flavored sweet dreams fuel. Many people owe their holiday warm fuzzies entirely to director Frank Capra.
* ''{{Amelie}}'', a beautiful little film that is essentially one big SugarWiki/{{Heartwarming Moment|s}} that helps to restore faith that people aren't all ''that'' bad...
* InvokedTrope in TheSoundOfMusic, used (in the film version) as a counter against a terrifying thunderstorm: Raindrops on roses, and whiskers on kittens! Bright copper kettles, and warm woolen mittens!
* Film/WillyWonkaAndTheChocolateFactory: Almost literally, "Pure Imagination".
* ''[[Film/SinginInTheRain Singin' in the Rain]]''. Quite possibly the greatest feel-good movie ever made.
* Mike Leigh's ''[[HappyGoLucky Happy-Go-Lucky]]'': Poppy's cheerfulness really rubs off on you. Unless you can't stand quirky happy people who joke a lot :D.
* TheMagiciansHat: Try doing a youtube search for "Thistle sings" - the song, the voice and the imagery is truly sweet (and has considerably fewer gawky forest creatures than its prequel). But the SugarWiki/{{Heartwarming Moment|s}} comes at the end when [[spoiler: the aforementioned Magician defeats the film's bad guy but in the process ends up being another victim of said bad guy's freezing curse (and due to the timing is not freed by the curser's death) and Fairy Queen, who has come to reciprocate his affection is able to remove the curse with her tears]]
* ''Film/TheMuppetMovie'': Life is like a movie, write your own ending, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eh48RIBUTJc keep believing, keep pretending...]]
** Maybe it's just me, but for my entire life, any time I hear "The Rainbow Connection" my heart smiles.
*** Definitely ''not'' just you.
* The DisneyAnimatedCanon may be for younger audiences, but it feautures beautifully animated movies with sweeping soundtracks, loveable and relatable characters, and an idealistic, romantic viewpoint of the world. Examples include:
** ''Disney/{{Tangled}}''. Of note are the scenes where Rapunzel gets out of the tower for the first time, [[TriumphantReprise running about singing about how wonderful it is]], and the festival where she drags in a bunch of complete strangers to dance with her.
*** Flynn[[spoiler:/Eugene]] and Rapunzel's relationship is {{WAFF}} incarnate, especially with their duet "I See The Light", which is probably one of the most spectacularly beautiful sequences Disney has ever made. ([[SarcasmMode As you can tell, I'm totally not a fangirl at all.]])
*** The whole movie is a sweet dream, even with the appearances of Mother Gothel. It's a great, fun, heartwarming and cute little movie.
** ''Disney/{{Frozen}}'' in spite of its title, ''will'' warm your heart. [[TearJerker It will also make you cry.]] If Young-Anna and Young-Elsa playing doesn't give you the warm fuzzies, or you don't feel good about the sisters reconciling at the end, you probably have no soul.
** ''MeetTheRobinsons'' is the inspiration for my idealistic, if not realistic dream of the future. Blue skies and GhibliHills are ''awesome''. Don't forget the house of the future.
*** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wre4Px7SuRc The future has indeed arrived.]]
** Disney/LiloAndStitch is about a little girl befriending [[RidiculouslyCuteCritter an adorable yet mischievous alien]] and teaching it the meaning of family. In addition to the film's optimistic tone, nearly all the main characters are fun and quirky.[[FaceHeelTurn Two of the minor villains are even redeemed.]]
** Disney/TheEmperorsNewGroove. Cute, funny, and so uplifting you won't care if it doesn't make sense. It has a great feel to it and I DARE you to watch it and not like it.
** ''Disney/{{Bambi}}'' brings in the concept of heartwarming birth, and ''Disney/TheLionKing'', which also uses such a concept, has the song "The Circle of Life", which can be very heartwarming.
** The scene from ''Disney/OliverAndCompany'' where Fagan reads to the dogs and they fall asleep. Plus the song "Good Company" ''will'' give you the fuzzies.
** ''Disney/LadyAndTheTramp'' had the tagline "...and now [[Creator/WaltDisney his]] HAPPIEST motion picture!" and it lives up to this so, so much. The dogs are cute (and rendered in the typically beautiful hand-drawn animation of old-school Disney). They face some peril and adversity, but the only antagonists are of the OneSceneWonder variety and not the kind seen in other Disney movies. [[SignatureScene They eat spaghetti]] while the chef [[SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic serenades]] them. [[spoiler: And eventually they give birth to adorable puppies]].
** Excuse me, [[AnimationAgeGhetto "may be for younger audiences"?]] Walt Disney himself said, "I do not make films primarily for children. I make them for the child in all of us, whether we be six or sixty. Call the child innocence, although buried deeply it might be. In my work I try to reach and speak to that innocence, showing it the fun and joy of living; showing it that laughter is healthy; showing it that the human species, although happily ridiculous at times, is still reaching for the stars."
** ''Film/WreckItRalph'', even with the appearances of [[spoiler: Turbo]] and the King Candy Cy-Bug is still a heartwarming, funny, awesome, and wonderful animated movie with a massive emotional punch to it. It also has one of the most beautiful and heartwarming LikeBrotherAndSister relationships of all time, and the ending with probably cause tears of joy.
** The Franchise/DisneyFairies films themselves, Because Tinker Bell is cute and has CharacterDevelopment unlike her ''Peter Pan'' counterpart and she also has five friends and a sister she didn't know she had, which also doubles as Major Sweet Dream Fuel.
%%* DisneyPrincess, That is all.
* ''GuestFromTheFuture'', a children's SciFi classic from 1980s Russia. The characters--both kids and grownups--are all likeable, especially Alisa, the future girl herself. She made a new generation interested in science and the future, and the actress, NataliaGuseva, became a scientist herself. And the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWSxev7eJvs theme music]] is always worth a listen if you want to feel good.
* ''Film/YouNeverDreamed'' is also [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-_iqhl_Za8 very adorable]], and lets you know that no matter how hard it may seem today, love always works out in the end.
* While ''Film/{{Transformers}}'' is filled with NightmareFuel courtesy of the Decepticons, it also has the BGM ''Arrival to Earth''. Why is it here? Because it's the theme of the Autobots when they, well, arrive on earth. it's majestic and fits the tone of alien robot guardians coming from the stars to save us better than anything else in the film, and accompanies what may just be the best sequence in any Creator/MichaelBay film.
* While they are widely known for their dark and cynical films, a few of Creator/TheCoenBrothers films may qualify, namely RaisingArizona, TheHudsuckerProxy, and OBrotherWhereArtThou, mostly for their sheer insanity and optimism, even if they do involve baby kidnapping, people jumping out of buildings, and breaking out of jail, respectively. Also, watching TheBigLebowski can put you in a good mood, and even Fargo, one of their darkest films, can be sort of heartwarming.
* ''YouAreUmasou'', a very cute and heartwarming movie about a ''TyrannosaurusRex'' who was raised by kind ''Maiasaura'' and then in turn raises a baby ''Ankylosaurus'' as his own son.
* ''Film/TheWizardOfOz'' is a beautiful family movie, a great fantasy movie and a classic loved by millions of people around the world. Ignore all the hanging Munchkin stories (it has been confirmed to be a crane), reassure yourself that the Flying Monkeys are just actors in rather weird costumes, and sit back and watch your nightmares melt away with the songs, funny moments and the incredible acting.
* To get rid of the Nightmare Fuel some more, recover from reading Creepypastas or outright destroy the NightmareFuel in your head completely, just try watching any of Creator/CharlieChaplin's Little Tramp [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrqpsYK2rBI movies]], and of course, Creator/LaurelAndHardy's [[http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qnLrLyPIWyE movies]]. You'll be laughing in no time, and perhaps in your dreams as well.
** Add Creator/BusterKeaton to that list. He'll remain [[TheComicallySerious stone-faced]] but you'll be hard pressed not to laugh.
** Anything by the Creator/MarxBrothers, really, but ''especially'' Duck Soup. These are my spies, anyone?
* ''Film/MaryPoppins.'' A spoonful of sugar ''really'' helps those nightmares go down.
* ''Film/TheMuppets''. That. Is. All.
** Follow-up ''Film/MuppetsMostWanted'' also has its sweet dreams fuel moments, such as the opening song (or just about ALL the songs), as well as some of the [[Funny/MuppetsMostWanted sillier]] and [[HeReallyCanAct more well-acted moments]]. (Less sweet dreams inducing is the premise: Kermit being replaced by an evil doppelganger and [[HilarityEnsues all hell breaking loose]].)
* ''Film/IceAge'', especially the first and the third.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheLEGOMovie.'' It makes tropers in their college age feel like a ten year old again, and it's probably the funniest and best animated movie ever made.
** Don't forget about the RidiculouslyCuteCritter Uni-Kitty. She's a pink fluffy unicorn princess kitty filled with such sugary sweetness to make anyone smile.
* When it's not [[Awesome/GuardiansOfTheGalaxy making you cheer]] or [[Funny/GuardiansOfTheGalaxy making you laugh your ass off]], pretty much all of ''Film/GuardiansOfTheGalaxy'' is this. What else do you call an adventurous band of TrueCompanions jetting around the universe to a mix-tape of '70s pop hits? Or a friendly walking tree who gives flowers to children and can conjure fireflies from his fingers? [[spoiler: Or a baby potted plant dancing to the Jackson 5?]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Literature]]
* ''Literature/SpringHeeledJack'', a half-graphic, half-novel about Victorian London's Batman as he rescues scruffy orphans [[OrphansPlotTrinket with trinkets]] and takes on Mack the Knife himself, wittily and with great aplomb. When Creator/PhilipPullman does sweet, he ''does sweet''.
* LloydAlexander's ''Literature/{{The Remarkable Journey of Prince Jen}}''. Wise without being smarmy. Fun without being sugary. Harrowing without being NightmareFuel.
** The cangue wasn't NightmareFuel? Or Li Kwang's adventure? Or the thirsty sword? But the paintbrush, kite and flute made up for a lot of it.
** On the subject of Lloyd Alexander, TheArkadians does it for me. Retellings of myths? A truly happy ending? Rainbows? Can it get any better?
** Arguably also ''The Cat Who Wished to be a Man''. It's a very innocent outlook on humanity, and while some of it is depressing and [[NightmareFuel frightening]], there are enough genuinly witty or sweet moments to make it worth it.
* ''14,000 things to be happy about'' by Barbara Ann Kipper. It's [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin exactly what it says on the cover]].
* Audiobooks of Creator/AAMilne's ''Literature/WinnieThePooh'' stories. A kind, grandfatherly voice narrating the adventures of the scatterbrained Pooh and his friends... I'm horribly cynical at best, but these audiobooks have never failed to put a smile on my face. The animated adaptations are good as well, but nothing beats the original stories.
** Even just reading the books aloud is wonderful! Nothing is as adorable as reading about Pooh describing the lunch he packed while a series of little pictures show him packing said lunch.
* ''Literature/PaddingtonBear''. You will never look at marmalade without a nostalgic smile ever again. Kind of like when you open a jar a Play-Doh.
* Pretty much anything by Creator/DianaWynneJones can qualify as this. SliceOfLife stories of friendship, romance and teamwork made interesting with magic!
%% ** The best one is ''The Ogre Downstairs''.
** Though you might wanna avoid, um I don't know, ''Literature/{{Hexwood}}'', ''Literature/CharmedLife'', ''Literature/TheTimeOfTheGhost'', ''Literature/TheHomewardBounders'', ''Literature/{{Dogsbody}}'', ''Literature/EightDaysOfLuke''... They are totally amazing books, just not exactly what you'd call cheerful. Actually I can't think of any book by her that's completely free of nightmare fuel, and I've read all but two. Still, that's what makes her awesome. You read about not nice things happening to nice people and end up with a warm fluffy feeling when it all works out. Only, like in a few of the titles above, sometimes it doesn't.
* The entirety of ''Literature/BridgeOfBirds'', especially the ending.
* Terrence Real's books (which sort of straddle the divide between Literature and RealLife) are made of Sweet Dreams Fuel. This editor is particularly reminded of a retelling of "Echo and Narcissus" in ''How Can I Get Through to You?''
* Oddly enough, Melina Marchetta's ''OnTheJellicoeRoad'', despite being a pretty much non-stop TearJerker (or maybe because of?) has this by the bucketload.
* Brian Floca's Moonshot: The Flight of Apollo 11. Yes, it's a picture book for little kids, but out of ALL the books that came out for the 40th anniversary of the moon landing, this one captured the beauty and wonder the best. ESPECIALLY the last picture, with the family running outside to play with the little toy rocket and the moon in the background.
* ''Literature/TheSecretGarden'': A tale about the ThePowerOfFriendship and the magic of nature. Its just great to see [[DefrostingIceQueen Mary]] and [[IllBoy Colin]] enjoy life more and more each day with [[FriendToAllLivingThings Di]][[ManicPixieDreamGirl ckon's]] help.
* {{Dinotopia}}. Especially the very first one. A {{utopia}} of poets, writers, artists, and scientists? With friendly dinosaurs? Brilliantly illustrated? Oh yes.
* ''TheLifeAquaticWithSteveZissou'' is like a happy, magical fairytale for grownups. Its whimsy and wonder are childlike without completely distancing oneself from adulthood.
* ''Literature/SoLongAndThanksForAllTheFish''. We've followed Arthur Dent through so very much, from his house (and subsequently his planet) being demolished, going insane, and being given more reasons to say "So this is it. We're going to die" than any man should have in his lifetime. And in a few months, he recovers his planet (and subsequently his home) and finds true love with someone so right for him that she even makes the idea of leaving Earth once more bearable. It's remarkably sweet and somehow feels right to the point where [[DeadpanSnarker the narrator]] can concede the point without losing the wit or the trademark simile-ing everything to death.
* Connie Willis's ''{{Bellwether}}'' and ''Literature/ToSayNothingOfTheDog''. Particularly the second - all her trademark screwball-comedy dialogue, a charming homage to Victorian and Edwardian literature, and even in the darker bits, there's a sense that everything will turn out OK. Also, fluffy kittens.
* Creator/PGWodehouse's ''Literature/JeevesAndWooster'' stories. They're just so innocent and silly that it's impossible not to smile through the whole thing.
** Pretty much everything by Wodehouse, really.
* Go break out the stash of books you read as a kid. Read one of your old ''JunieBJones'' books. You're welcome.
* ''Literature/DoctorDolittle''. A man who does what he loves (talking to and helping animals) without caring about what other people think or how much money he earns doing so. His pets are all completely endearing, from Dab Dab the housekeeper to the parrot who first teaches Dolittle the animal's language. Turns to TearJerker when you realise the original form books have been out of print for 40 years.
* ''Literature/TheLittlePrince''. "You only see well with your heart. The essential is invisible to the eyes". Brings me to happy tears even as I write this.
* As mentioned in the Films section, Death from Literature/{{Discworld}} is absolutely adorable -- he doesn't quite understand humans, but he finds them extremely fascinating, and, in the end, he really ''cares'' about people, working hard to protect them from the Auditors.
** Pretty much everything by Terry Pratchett can fall into this category, but ESPECIALLY his books for kids. Oh, and the final paragraph of 'Good Omens' (co-authored with Neil Gaiman).
* ''Literature/WinnieThePooh''-AA Milne's stories are extremely heartwarming and funny, and reading one of the books will make you feel like a child again. And it comes with some [[http://9gag.com/gag/a1A2RBP inspiring wisdom too.]]
* ''TheWonderfulWizardOfOz'', if read with the original illustrations, has plenty of funny moments and the pictures are beautiful to look at.
* [[CthulhuMythos The Silver Key]]. Yes, even HP Lovecraft can induce this. Mainly due to this story's lack of [[EldritchAbomination eldritch abominations]], or the fact that it's a story about a man finally being able to physically go to the world of his dreams, and become a kid again. No Outer Gods or Great Old Ones to lure him into a trap, just straightforward re-entering your dreams. It seems against every other thing the man wrote, which is why it's sweet dreams fuel.
* The ''MillyMollyMandy'' stories.
* Just about anything by Edward Lear, the Victorian author and artist famous for his [[SurrealHumour nonsense poetry]]. His greatest hits include ''The Owl and the Pussycat'', ''The Jumblies'' and ''The Quangle Wangle's Hat'', as well as the wealth of limericks he wrote, which continue to entertain to this day.

[[folder:Live-Action TV]]
* Anything ever done by ''Creator/MontyPython'' whose comedic gold, acting, writing and the general enjoyment the creators had working on it can just make you laugh and enjoy their work WAAAY too much!
* ''Series/PushingDaisies''. Brightly colored sets, fantastic clothing, impeccably witty dialogue, and amazing acting. Should rightly [[TastesLikeDiabetes taste like diabetes]], but somehow everything works out in its favor (even the combination of the sweetness of Ned and Chuck and gruesome murders).
* ''Series/GilmoreGirls''. The love that the mother and daughter have for each other, and not only that, even with all the troubles, Stars Hollow and the Gilmores are good people inside their hearts.
* ''Series/MorkAndMindy''. Both the show and the titular couple. So much sweetness and optimism... why is it they don't make shows like this anymore?
* SummerGlau
* [[Series/TheJoyOfPainting Bob Ross]] on his painting show
* ''Series/TooCute''. A show about cute puppies and kittens growing up. Pure, concentrated adorable.
* ''Series/TheGoldenGirls''. Whenever I am depressed or upset, the Girls cheer me up. True comfort TV.
* ''Series/FullHouse'', from reminding you of life lessons of all kinds each episode to delivering safe but nevertheless funny situations, Full House is definitely a contender of the picture of 90s sitcoms.
* Any ''Franchise/StarTrek'' episode with the word "[[RidiculouslyCuteCritter Tribble]]" in the title. In the original "The Trouble with Tribbles," you can just feel that all the cast was having a merry time being comedians for a change in a genuinely funny and charming story.
** Also any [[NarmCharm Ferengi or holodeck episode.]] Time travel episodes hold a special place in my heart too.
** Really, the idea behind Star Trek in general. There is hope for the future. Humanity will survive, will settle its differences, will solve all its own problems, and then...we will go forth into the universe and be awesome.
* ''Series/TheAdventuresOfPeteAndPete'' is pure nostalgia to anyone who has ever been a child.
** It's more than that. It just perfectly encapsulates childhood, period, with a healthy dose of exaggeration. All the problems that seem petty looking back are displayed with outrageous importance, blown up to proportions that by all logic should seem too absurd to take seriously, but the characters are so genuine and their reactions so familiar and close to home that the lengths the conflicts are taken to seem justifiably as important now as they were then. The show takes you back to how it felt to search desperately for a missing EarWorm or how unfair curfews seemed or how the local bully acted like a monster. But with that you get how it felt to have a crush, or end a fight with a friend, or do something nice for someone, or even just to relax. This show is an epic, feel-good tribute to what it means to be a kid and have fun without tasting like diabetes for a single moment. ''And'' it makes you laugh. So, yeah, perfect.
* "You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and then you have Series/TheFactsOfLife!"
* MisterRogersNeighborhood. No one else has compared in the world of children's television, and Mr. Rogers cared about adults too.
** What makes it better was that Mr. Rogers was the nicest man in the world during his life, and he loved everyone, even homosexuals. He'd defend them in church. And he always made millions of people happy, by telling them how special they all were and they were all unique. Despite all the cruel, stupid and untrue rumors about him, he was probably the Messiah in disguise, because he loved and cared about every person on the planet.
* "FamilyTies" is definitely sweet dreams fuel for anyone who was a child in the 1980s.
* ''Series/ICarly'': ''iSaved Your Life''. Freddie would sacrifice his life to save Carly, Carly realises how much he means to her, they kiss about 6 times in a very cute way (and one hot way in the extended version). They practically glow with happiness whilst they are together, and the final 'dawww', Freddie has a IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy moment because he doesn't want to hurt Carly by taking advantage of her when he's unsure if her feelings are true. Even though it's a minor DownerEnding, it's a very powerful expression of his feelings for her and that it's not just some random teenage hormonal attraction on a show with practically no morals, aesops or lessons.
** Also the relationships between Spencer and Carly, and Sam and Carly. Whilst most of the show isn't especially heartwarming, the 3 major relationships, Spencer/Carly, Carly/Sam and Freddie/Carly are a heartwarming core of warm fuzziness.
* ''Series/TheJoyOfPainting'' with Bob Ross. There is a reason all the trees are happy!
** One German TV channel used to broadcast it around 3 AM, without dubbing, specifically for its soothing qualities. Literal Sweet Dreams Fuel for the insomniac.
* ''Series/DoctorWho''
** ''Some days are special. Some days are so, so blessed. Some days, nobody dies at all. Now and then, every once in a very long while, every day in a million days, when the wind stands fair and the Doctor comes to call...everybody lives.''
** The Fish Fingers and Custard scene from "The Eleventh Hour". It's one of the funniest and cutest scenes in the episode. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oo2RKAHu-kI]]
*** In fact, any scene that involves Eleven and a little kid will most likely result in this trope.
** The ending of ''Vincent and the Doctor''. [[TearJerker That]] [[SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments is all.]]
** [[Recap/DoctorWho2010CSAChristmasCarol The 2010 Christmas Special]]. Period.
*** What about the 2011 Christmas special's ending, when the Doctor arrives at [[spoiler: the Ponds?]]
** What about [[spoiler:Amy and Rory's wedding? Everything about that day is perfect, from her parents being brought back to reality, to Amy and Rory being happy and safe and able to be together, to the Doctor dancing like a loon to the three of them riding off in the TARDIS together.]]
** Near the end of the finale for season six, the scene where [[spoiler: River goes home to Amy and Rory's place, and Amy's whoops of joy when she finds out the Doctor's alive.]]
** The entire show which has taught whole generations of people that a hero is a slightly barmy alien with a screwdriver who is a huge fan of our planet. Even his ship thinks we're bigger on the inside.
* ''FraggleRock''. There's a reason that it's considered JimHenson's MagnumOpus. Not many shows are created with the intention of bringing about world peace.
** In 2013-14, Beta Patrol released a few indie {{Cover Album}}s of the show, which have a few tracks that fit this trope. Radiation City's {{retraux}}-y "I'd Give My Soul", Transmissions' haunting "Let Me Be Your Song", and The Boys And Girls' sweet and folky "Friendship Song" are among the highlights.
* ''TheMaryTylerMooreShow'': "You're gonna make it after all..."--even the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuuYvQsN-ak opening theme]] on its own is made of happy.
* ''GilligansIsland''. The show and each one of its characters is optimism personified!
* Series/{{Community}}: A show about how seven totally different people can come together and be TrueCompanions.
** Really, any work by {{Dan Harmon}} has an SDF aura. You can say that it offsets the cynicism.
* ''LazyTown'', especially episodes without the "evil dude". [[Main/NightmareFuel But don't watch episodes that contain the "evil dude" at night & home alone.]]
* ''{{Dinosaurs}}''. You just gotta love the Baby!
* ''Series/BoyMeetsWorld''. Good friends growing up together, showcasing the different kinds of love (romantic, family, friendship), and Mr. Feeny's lessons make for a super heartwarming series.
* The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, no matter what time of the year you watch it in. The 80's and 90's parades in particular practically ''oozed'' NarmCharm. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzAlvPyleo4 Case in point.]]
* On that note, anything involving Willard Scott, who cohosted the parade until 1997. His original Ronald [=McDonald=] may fall into NightmareFuel for some ([[http://www.cracked.com/article_15979_the-7-most-terrifying-corporate-mascots-all-time_p2.html we're looking at you]], Website/{{Cracked}}), but beyond that he's an ''incredibly'' {{adorkable}} and slightly naive KindheartedSimpleton[=/=]GentleGiant[=/=]NiceGuy (and now in his eighties, he could qualify for CoolOldGuy as well). [[PrettyBoy And he's quite handsome, too,]] [[http://kidshow.dcmemories.com/Willard_scott.jpg at least during his heyday in]] TheEighties.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXJR8se_8lI This video]] from ''Series/{{Today}}'', where he reads "Twas The Night Before Christmas" to a group of cute kids. His voice is warm and resonating, which definitely adds to the warm and fuzzy factor.
* ''{{Roundhouse}}''. A [[SugarWiki/NeedsMoreLove severely underrated]] Creator/{{Nickelodeon}} show about a bunch of twenty-somethings performing zany SketchComedy with [[NoBudget little to no budget]] and NoFourthWall (not unlike Franchise/TheMuppets), combined with fantastic singing and dancing. The {{Framing Device}}s are just as good; they deal with several rather mature situations in the most ridiculously upbeat way possible. Take for example [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amIV4C6vw0g the first season's]] EarWorm about [[TheTalk sex education]]. Reprise the theme song and roll the credits!
* Speaking of "golden age" Nickelodeon: Want your Creator/{{SNICK}} back? Now you can, with [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvNjcQ7ewXw this]] extremely faithful recreation of [[Series/ClarissaExplainsItAll the]] [[{{Roundhouse}} orig]][[WesternAnimation/RenAndStimpy inal]] [[Series/AreYouAfraidOfTheDark lineup]] as it stood during the 1993 holiday season, complete with 1993 commercials! To add to the nostalgia, the mastermind behind the video recommended watching it every Saturday night at 7:57pm - try it out on the Website/YouTube app on the Wii U, Xbox One, PS4, or LG Smart TV!

[[folder:Music]]
* Even the scary Sigur Rós songs are still undeniably beautiful and dreamlike. Even the cover of [[Series/GameofThrones "The Rains of Castamere"]].
* All of Music/{{Enya}}'s songs qualify as this.
* Music/BowlingForSoup. Especially [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iz-ob6JmYUM Shut Up and Smile]] and [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXhgfQSkEZ4 I'm Gay]]. Just something about songs like these makes it impossible not to smile.
* Heartbeats by José González. Nuff said.
* Chameleon Circuit is a band that writes and records songs about ''Series/DoctorWho'', and they have quite a few songs that are very uplifting, particularly [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYB8MXWqLKI Teenage Rebel]], [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGqrrmZXtqg Type 40]], and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2ldOzms47c Gallifreyan History 101]].
* It is impossible to listen to "Pilots" by {{Goldfrapp}} without feeling chilled out afterwards, but add in the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydNbuB6PLiU dreamy music video]], with the elegant dancing and the synchronized scooter stewardess ballet, and suddenly all the fuss and annoyances [[YouCanPanicNow of airport security and terror threats]] seem ''very'' far away...
* Iron and Wine's "The Sea and the Rhythm" "Flightless Bird, American Mouth" and "Fever Dream" can never fail to soothe you into sleep.
* Anything and everything by Belle and Sebastian. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9AKgGFlQzY "Dog On Wheels"]] and [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEUCisD-Q8M "Judy And The Dream Of Horses"]], especially.
* The {{Vocaloid}} song [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zeN9fOoHQX4 Last Night, Good Night]] (written by "kz") is this trope in spades. Depending on how the audience takes the meaning of the lyrics.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvWjKDwlb9g "Maguro Tabetai"]] ("I Want to Eat Tuna") is about Luka [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin wanting to eat]] [[TrademarkFavoriteFood tuna]] and going on about different kinds of Japanese tuna. With Takoluka thrown in for good measure.

** In the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TT-8N3bEdNY Dreamy Theater PV]] for "Double Lariat", Takoluka makes an appearance and just happily flies around the stage.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rw6mJZ_RS0 Secret Space]], featuring Miriam.

** Both of his ''Series/SesameStreet'' remixes, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwvflO3QKrI Muppet Mash]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyA7YYyGEgs Grover Groove]]. The latter is especially haunting and dreamlike.
* {{Lingalad}}. Pretty much anything by them qualifies, but [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-FfQGVv7R4 Il Vecchio Lupo]] especially. Even if you don't speak a single word of Italian.
* So much of Music/TheBeatles music can't help but make you smile, but [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBZ8ulc5NTg Hello Goodbye]] is quintessential Beatles happytime music of awesome. ''Especially'' their goofing around in the video during the coda.
** [[RingoStarr "Good night. Good night everybody. Everybody everywhere...good night."]]
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJhcGepfG04 Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da]] is one of the most cheerful songs ever written, telling a nice small-town love story with a lovely happy ending. It even ends with the lines, "''And if you want some fun / sing OB-LA-DI-LA-DA!''", before one of the Beatles puts on a silly high-pitched voice and squeaks, "Thank you!" while one of his bandmates laughs.
** And let's not forget GeorgeHarrison, who was a tank of sweet dreams fuel in his own right. Just listen to "All Things Must Pass." You could practically drift away on it. There's a reason George has been called "the soul of the Beatles."
* TheBeachBoys practically run on this trope, at least most of the time.
** From "All Summer Long" there's "[[http://youtu.be/wREBD2og5iY I Get Around]]", which is about just being young and having fun, and what could be better than that?
** From "Summer Days (And Summer Nights!!)" there's "[[http://youtu.be/fmIsdMWzdaE California Girls]]" which is about much the same thing as the previous, but this time with more of a focus on girls.
** From "PetSounds", there's "[[http://youtu.be/EkPy18xW1j8 God Only Knows]]" - one of the greatest love songs perhaps ever written. The lyrics basically mean "[[CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming Realistically speaking, I could live without you, but I don't ever want to.]]"
*** Taken UpToEleven with Creator/TheBBC's music video of this song (see below).
** From "The Smile Sessions" there's "[[http://youtu.be/GjPRR5Qf65U Good Vibrations]]" a feel good song about a girl so beautiful that the singer can ''feel her beauty in his soul''.
*** Also worth listening to is the [[http://youtu.be/E8G11a2p8UM Good Vibrations session highlights]] which show the various experimentation that went into completing the final song. Full of WhatCouldHaveBeen - about five minutes in, it sounds like there's an oboe singing to you, and it is ''[[MostWonderfulSound beautiful]]''.
** The opening (and title) track on "[[http://youtu.be/XWCLiArPu8Q Wild Honey]]" is the Beach Boys' attempt at R&B, and boy do they knock it out of the park.
** There are too many examples of this to fit in one place, but if you ever want to get a good night's sleep, you can count on The Beach Boys. (Just avoid Mrs. O'Leary's Cow...)
* "[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBhHzL8CuZU Evening Song]]" is a Russian lullaby that will leave you dreaming of the romantic city of Saint Petersburg standing serenely and triumphantly on the blue waves of the Neva River.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSsBFbPZ3qI "Lullaby to Tim"]] by The Hollies. Despite the criticisms, I get all warm and fuzzy listening to this, right down to the WesternAnimation/WallE-styled vocals.
* Freelance Whales. Special notice for [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WR2282tMio "Hannah"]].
* OwlCity. That is all.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIz2K3ArrWk Even]] [[HiddenDepths Vanilla]] [[TearJerker Twilight]] ?
** OwlCity + CarlyRaeJepsen = Good Time. Carly may be famous for Call Me Maybe, but she also did well in this nice, uplifting song with OwlCity.
** "[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukgvTE3A0Ic To the Sky]]". It's simply impossible to hear that song without ending up in at least a slightly better mood than beforehand.
** "Angels" and "Honey And The Bee" deserve mentioning, the former being a happy, peppy song that can easily make even the most paranoid feel safe, and the latter being an adorable love song told from the perspective of a cute little bug.
* CarlyRaeJepsen herself. "This Kiss" is one of those songs that's just so upbeat and infectious it's almost criminal. In the video she wears many beautiful costumes, and it ends with her kissing a guy underwater.
** As the 2013 Candies Girl, Jepsen posed for some very beautiful pics.
* DemiLovato's video for the song "Gift of a Friend" is so beautiful. She even wears white in the video, which doubles as a Sweet Dream.
** YMMV on this, but to a lot of people her [[http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kHue-HaXXzg&feature=kp rendition]] of ''[[Disney/{{Frozen}} Let It Go]]'' is this trope.
* BridgitMendler's music can have this effect on viewers, specifically her "How To Believe". Which, like "Gift of a Friend" above, was written for a TinkerBell movie.
* Just anything by Brooke Fraser, like [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4KiGN1j1No Shadowfeet]] or [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VehKZRwYA8 Flags]]. It can heal you from any bad day.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlnVRWD7vVY Jennifer's Rabbit]] by Tom Paxton, written for his daughter.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-ld26IT8C4 Tanzmusik]], by {{Kraftwerk}}. The corresponding album, ''Ralf und Florian'', is almost entirely calm and playful.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=giYkSYwv3TQ Live]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PqTPDteHBA versions]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAQNdWvEFos tended]] to play this up even further.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98P-gu_vMRc "Mr Blue Sky"]] by ElectricLightOrchestra.
* As it is apparently {{Radiohead}}'s goal to branch out into as many genres as they possibly can, it was only a matter of time before they created [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCq9k0_O96I "Worrywort,"]] possibly the world's most uplifting 8-bit alternative ambient post-punk post-rock dance-rock.
* Almost anything by Music/DonnaSummer qualifies. Her music seems to emanate from a world of brightly colored lights and nonstop dancing and love. How can you NOT want to dance to Donna?
* "That's the Way of the World" by Earth, Wind, and Fire. Makes me smile.
* ''Theatre/TheFantasticks'': [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycPoxZ1NPBY "Try To Remember"]], by Jerry Orbach. The man had an '''incredible''' voice despite having a Bronx accent.
* Pretty much '''anything''' sung by Ella Fitzgerald. ''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPOlakkBlj8 Misty]]'' is a great example.
* The instrumental Robinsonse ''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2r5NxXHiBc Pitter Patter Goes by Heart]]'' by Broken Social Scene. The top comment put it best, saying it is the "sound of falling in love."
* Rosemary Clooney's ''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbQjDxA7g-M Tenderly]]''.
* Julie London had a voice as delicate as a cloud. ''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrXnXkDioS0 When I Fall In Love]]'' proves it.
* Girls' Generation's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7mPqycQ0tQ Gee]] and [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8VptZv6QRY Kissing You]] are my happy place songs. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doZ-bt0ZpM0 Dear Mom]] is a good one, too, since it was made specifically to be a love letter to the members' mothers.
* Connor Kirby-Long (aka Grandma, Khonnor, I, Cactus, and others) has a discography that's outright rife with this. Even at its darkest, Long's work [[TearJerker (most of it, anyway)]] radiates a light, warm, atmosphere that's strong enough to make you feel as though everything will turn out alright.
* AutoTuneTheNews's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPS372AMPN8 Winston Churchill, backed by band from the future]]. It's a song meant to be set in the middle of TheGreatDepression. It is very uplifting when placed in context.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvQbkPS8zCA The Sanity Song.]] "We hear every damn day about our fragile country. We hear every damn day about the brink of catastrophe, and that it's a shame that we can't work together. But the truth is, we do. We work together to get things done every damn day."]]
* TheCrystallineEffect's song "Right". It's slow, beautiful, faintly nostalgic and just so damn ''perfect''.
* For those who like reggae, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLnq_tZf3eQ "Stir It Up"]] by BobMarley.
** Also, "Three Little Birds." The simplest, sweetest HopeSpot you could ask for, perfect for listening to in rough times.
* Most of Anna Nalick and Amy [=MacDonald=]'s songs I've heard so far, especially [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TI8-Zg9WAM this one.]]
* Megurine Luka's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7M-cj_fCXDI Toeto]]. Just hearing that song automatically makes you feel so peaceful. Even moreso with the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1eT0JkS0vQ Nico Nico Chorus version]], where it, literally, sounds like a chorus of angels.
** Also by Luka, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIO__fvhV0E No Logic]] Not only does it have a catchy beat and some great chorus versions, it is downright ''inspirational''.
* Every second of the Sailor Moon Orgel Fantasia CD. Princess Moon and Tuxedo Mirage sound like two of the worlds greatest lullabyes.
* All opinions [[FacialHorror you]] [[UncannyValley may]] [[NightmareFuel have]] about BillPlympton's 1987 classic [[http://fan.tcm.com/_Your-Face-1987-Bill-Plympton/video/1630440/66470.html "Your Face"]] aside, Maureen [=McElheron=]'s score is one of the most heartwarming love songs out there.
* Pretty much every song from Sunbears. Like here: [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICDRGDYaTi0 Dream happy dreams]]
* "A Pillow Of Winds" from Pink Floyd.
** "Outside The Wall" is a gentle reminder that as long as there are people left on the planet, somebody cares about you, The Movie Version sounds like a gentle lullabby
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PScUdYTO0UM "Year of the Rat"]] by Badly Drawn Boy. The power of hugs conquers all!
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlgqFlZjQJQ Whilst we're on the subject of Badly Drawn Boy...]]
* Megadeth's song [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3vH_teoGJE Coming Home]] is very calming and soothing compared to their other music, some of which borders on NightmareFuel.
* Though they're certainly not known for their [[WhatDoYouMeanItsNotForKids sweetness]], Music/{{Gorillaz}} has a gem in "On Melancholy Hill". It's highly instrumental, with subdued lyrics that carry a gentle, loving message: 'nothing's perfect, but I'll do anything I can to make it ''better'', because [[SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments I feel like I'm a better person when I'm with you.]]'
** Especially in the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5O_WX3Vwkuw acoustic version]]. Skip to 2:35 to hear it- and it's nice to see how happy and peaceful the band look whilst playing.
* The Kuricorder Quartet. Anything they've ever done, ''ever''. Yes, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Jq617ENMd0 even the Imperial March]]. (Tuba, ukulele, bongos and [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melodica melodica]].)
* ''SnowPatrol'', especially Chasing Cars, Shut Your Eyes, Crack The Shutters and finally The Lightening Strike.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0ly_bCQ2dY "Sylvia" by Focus]] contains what may be the sweetest, most uplifting melodies ever.
* The aptly named "These Dreams", by Heart.
* EmilieAutumn, has some sweet dream making songs such as Across The Sky, and Remember.
** and her covers of such songs as Leclair-Tabourin, Vitali-Chaconne and Crazy He Calls Me.
** Really, the whole {{Dream Pop}} genre comes under this.
* BritneySpears has some sweet dream giving songs such as Strangest Love, Trip To Your Heart, Heaven On Earth, When I Found You, Everyday and State Of Grace
* TheVeronicas have "I Could Get Used To This" a song basically describing the(ir) ultimate boyfriend.
* Also putting ColbieCaillat here. Particularly "Magic" and "Oxygen", but most of her music would fit here, either uplifting or loving or telling you it's okay to be afraid sometimes of little things like commitment (Tied Down) or of failure (It Stops Today)
* Quite a few LM.C songs. Some of the best examples are "Punky Heart" ("Youre crying all alone but if you can just smile then it doesnt matter if the whole worlds your enemy"), "Optimisland" ("The blue color of the sky that we always see as the color of tears just does not look that bad if I am with you, right?"), and "Ah Hah!" ("Every day, even if youre meeting the worst moment in your history, say 'I just wanna be the happiest' - laugh it off; its OK")
* Music/DaftPunk's "Something About Us", "Digital Love" and "Contact" are the epitome of this. In fact Daft Punk in general work on fun and good vibes to make their music.
* Just about all of Eric Whitacre's choral peices are AwesomeMusic, but the most uplifting are surely ''Sleep'', the hauntingly beautiful ''Seal Lullabye'' (Dreamworks picked WesternAnimation/KungFuPanda over this?!), and especially the upcoming various solo, orchestral, and choral settings of the beloved children's classic, ''Goodnight Moon''.
* A lot of the music for the The H.P. Lovecraft Literary Podcast is created by one of the co-host's, Chad Fifer, and his track for the story Celephais is a wonderful soundscape of bell-like melodies, soft synths and calm, lapping ocean waves.
* Even if you're not a fan of the show, [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic Pinkie Pie's]] song "Smile Smile Smile" is a genuinely uplifting and nice song about how Pinkie likes to make her friends happy.
* When your jimmies are more rustled than a forest after a hurricane, sometimes you just gotta settle down and listen to some [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=07wZiqJlu3U Lakmé Act 1]]. Click, and let the blessings of the Unrustled Triumvirate wash over you like clean, sparkling bathwater.
* Normally, SilentHill isn't a source of heartwarming, but as evidenced by the case of [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjLv2BKK-3s Letter From The Lost Days]] from SilentHill3, there is the occasional tidbit. Especially in this song about love, keeping up hope, and wanting someone else to find happiness. "Oh, what a pair, me and you, put here to feel joy, not feel blue. Sad times and bad times, see them through--soon we will know if it's for real, what we... both feel..."
* Shako-Pani makes drum-n'bass inspired tunes to briefly put your troubles aside by, with sweet melodies and a light atmosphere prevalent even in his most chaotic works.
* Suzuka. Her works always seem to have an air of overwhelming beauty and pure, unadulterated soul, with melodies seemingly designed to remind you that better days exist, or at least help you take your mind off the worse ones.
* Suntra's "Other Victories" album. Cheesy, video-game melodies made with old equipment, bring to mind an old RPG or a sidescroller set in a cartoony, surrealist world of the sort the cover only hints at, with a warm and cheery atmosphere building throughout.
* Mozart, especially pieces like the Piano Concerto in G (#17), several of the piano pieces, a lot of his chamber music... The man was capable of amazing depths of happiness which cheer the very soul ''just by being so very happy to exist''. Beethoven needed struggle against adversity, Bach was raptured in religious reassurance, but Mozart's music is just plain excited.
* Mozart's SDF elements may have come from Pachelbel's works. Pachelbel sounds like an early version of modern alt music that uses SDF.
* Bassnectar has ''a lot'', mostly on the Mesmerizing The Ultra, for which the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilcMcJroCwk majority]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tUTTdWomPIM of]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdlSsVLGm6A the]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjlIk-z5Vhw album]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-j9GmizjzCY consists]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TOQ6tBFC8A of this.]] Besides that, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_LSVbzjVhU he]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HZ1TBJcFk0 has]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bO0klIv4Nuc at]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3E0wLMeLLhw least]] [[OnceAnEpisode one or more per album]]. We could keep going finding more.
* {{Ludo}} has a number of genuinely sweet, wonderful songs- I dare you to listen to ''Anything for You'' or ''Manta Rays'' without getting the warm fuzzies.
* Windham Hill's first five "A Winter's Solstice" Christmas albums are filled with sweet dreams fuel. Get a copy of "Winter's Solstice III" (you can find them on eBay for a couple of bucks). Listen to the last track, "Earth Abides" by Philip Aaberg. The simple, quiet melody can move you to tears... and sing you to sleep. Seriously.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBLWDF2nfP8 The Staunton Lick]], by Lemon Jelly. An incredibly relaxing chilled out groove with a catchy acoustic riff, sounds like the soundtrack to a nice flying dream.
**In fact, almost everything by Lemon Jelly fits this. To the point of having lots of children among their fanbase.
**Music/LemonJelly 's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8yx4k4tzqE "Nice Weather for Ducks"]] is a beautiful mixture of MindScrew, WhatDoYouMeanItWasntMadeOnDrugs, AcidTripDimension, and this trope blended in a way that can't help but make you smile and go, "wtf did I just watch!?"
** Actually, most things Lemon Jelly have ever composed fall under this trope, with a [[TearJerker handful of]] [[NightmareFuel exceptions]].
* What, nothing from TheAquabats? Their album "Charge!" Is chock full of songs letting you know it's okay to be nerdy and silly, because you're awesome no matter what!
* "[[{{Negima}} Happy]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgE0imREQkY Material]]". I don't think I have ever heard another song tha sounds so, well, [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin happy]]. Just try listening to it without ending up with a smile on your face. I dare you.
* TimMinchin's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCNvZqpa-7Q White Wine in the Sun]], a sweet, gentle, tear jerky Christmas song for his daughter.
* {{Gotye}}'s got a few uplifting tracks among his very varied portfolio, such as [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4_lBT1OG_Y&feature=channel&list=UL Save Me]] and [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0u8ZfqjT8-I&feature=channel&list=UL Giving Me A Chance]].
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kwGEf-iTYs Eyes Wide Open.]]
* Music/AphexTwin may strike you as the type that would be this trope's polar opposite, right? Not so fast: in his early career, he put out two albums of ambient techno (''Selected Ambient Works 85-92'' and ''Selected Ambient Works Volume II''). Turns out the guy behind "Come To Daddy" is also capable of stuff like [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nevnq7MvVTI "Xtal"]] and [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I2iBGcgyTME "Lichen."]]
** And add in "[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfYl6_f2Mdg Avril 14th]]", "[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uUVrX8vgw0 Ptolemy]]", and "[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhHkUg-QCwk Flim]]".
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Z20hBkjXKw This]] character song from Code Geass. It sounds adorable and it's about wanting the world to be at peace and everyone to love each other. Sweet dreams fuel indeed!
* The music of {{fun}} is really good, but if you're feeling down or depressed, give [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQkBeOisNM0 Some Nights]] and [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7yCLn-O-Y0 Carry On]] a listen.
* The tranquil "[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=so-L12LFRR8 Your Silent Face]]" by NewOrder. Written by a band still recovering from the suicide of their [[JoyDivision previous frontman]]. Manages to make the phrase "piss off" sound endearing and even makes us feel happy for a [[{{Bronson}} violent sociopathic prisoner being released from jail]].
* All Saints's "Pure Shores" - a song that captures the word 'paradise' completely.
* Music/AtomicKitten, especially "It's OK' which talks about a relationship that ended badly but they have both moved on and can still enjoy the good memories. "Whole Again", "Love Doesn't Have To Hurt" and their cover of "Eternal Flame" are nice and relaxing. And it's impossible to not want to dance along to "Be With You" and "The Tide Is High (Get The Feeling)".
* Ralph Vaughn Williams' 'The Lark Ascending'. It's gently uplifting, not to mention incredibly evocative of the English countryside. Seriously, go listen to it and tell me it doesn't make you picture rolling green hills and leafy woods.
* Florence + the Machine has given the world the truly astounding [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bnsCaSfEXe0 All This and Heaven Too]], a song that seems to sum up the ecstatic feeling of loving something for the first time. Also, there's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMfQIs96Lck Strangeness and Charm]], which seems to emanate the basic emotion of wonder in five grand, sweeping minutes.
* Lisa Loeb has the infectiously sweet hit [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ka9mCmx9Jhs Stay (I Missed You.)]] While played to the point of {{Glurge}} in 1994, it has a unique cuteness that proves a potent anti-depressant in small doses... kind of like an opiate.
* Listening to "You've Got a Friend in Me" from WesternAnimation/ToyStory is an easy way to get the warm fuzzies, especially if a specific loved one comes to mind. It's just so endearing and optimistic!
* "Looking Out My Back Door" by Music/CreedenceClearwaterRevival.
* Every song by Lullatone classes here. Their music is just so gentle and sweet!
* Anything by Eric Calderone.
* Anything and everything by Endless Melancholy, despite what the title of the band may make you think.
* For Christians, "I Can Only Imagine" by [=MercyMe=] gives believers the hope that they will someday meet Jesus face to face when He says to them, "Well done, good and faithful servant".
** For the best effect, combine this song with the part where Rayford Steele meets Jesus in the Dramatic Audio version of the Literature/LeftBehind book ''Glorious Appearing''.
* Queen's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2JSUXaY-tw 'You're My Best Friend]]. The really cute part? The bass player, John Deacon, wrote it as a love song for his wife.
** An awful lot of Queen's discography qualifies, really.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsZm5LX1ETA 'The Whole Picture']] by Finnish funk-rock band Funk in Funk Stairs, which encourages people to stop worrying and just enjoy their lives. Hell, the video itself could qualify: five minutes of four guys messing around in a recording studio and quite clearly having the time of their lives.
* The song [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_DCNoKDv20 "The Friendly Beasts"]] is a really adorable song by itself, but this version by SufjanStevens is particularly sweet.
* "[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFEDTtKaFzU Safe & Sound]]" form the {{Hunger Games}} soundtrack.
** Also kind of a TearJerker, especially if you know the source material it was inspired by.
* The ''Anime/CardcaptorSakura'' character songs by [[http://youtu.be/m5SsRoSTZLQ Sakura]], [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dstB8Ec1cIg Syaoran]], [[http://youtu.be/3WslGrADNgw Tomoyo]], [[http://youtu.be/-vfNaFYS85o Kero]], [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9I3uSEUQ1M Touya]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5Lykvd07u0 Yukito]]. Actually, the entire soundtrack.
* [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scala_%26_Kolacny_Brothers Scala & Kolacny Brothers]], a Belgian women's choir that performs covers of pop songs. Every one of their songs will make you want to either cry, dance, hug someone you love, or all three at once. Their performances of Music/{{U2}}'s [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8-rCpI-uAw "With or Without You"]], Music/KingsOfLeon's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJ3CZat9U6s "Use Somebody"]] and Music/{{Coldplay}}'s [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQ0MgA-1zNY "Viva La Vida"]] are the highlights.
* While we're on the subject of Coldplay, there's the ever-inspiring "Speed Of Sound."
** "Midnight" is the musical definition of Sweet Dreams Fuel.
* [[CrowningMomentOfFunny Hilarious]] as it is, Rick Astley's ''[[http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ Never Gonna Give You Up]]'', aka the Rickroll song, is actually very fun to listen to, and has excellent lyrics and a lovely beat. Plus, if you fall in love with the song, good news for you-you're now ''immune'' to Rickrolling!
* "Pure Imagination" is a sweet FollowYourHeart song even out of context of ''Film/WillyWonkaAndTheChocolateFactory'' (see Film above), but a particularly lovely cover came along in the wake of the [[Theatre/CharlieAndTheChocolateFactory 2013 stage adaptation of the source novel]], which positions the song as TheElevenOClockNumber in an otherwise all-new score. That is its own [[Heartwarming/CharlieAndTheChocolateFactory heartwarming moment]] -- but Douglas Hodge, the actor who originated the role of Willy Wonka in that production, is also a musician and his repertoire now includes a SofterAndSlowerCover of the song that turns it into a [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZfXvtdITC8 wistful lullaby]].
* Anything involving LindseyStirling. She dances while playing beautiful, relaxing music on a violin, often in costume, and always with a big smile on her face. Even in her behind the scenes videos, her silly antics, humility, and optimism never fail to put a smile on your face.
* A {{Vaporwave}} [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rywNPSjP5E track]] by 情報デスクVIRTUAL, and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cU8HrO7XuiE another]] by Macintosh Plus. Vaporwave can often sound very relaxing and pleasant.
* Jerry Nelson, one of the original [[Franchise/TheMuppets Muppeteers]], wrote a song called [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuyI0bgwceQ "Tides"]], and it's gorgeous.
* Much of Alcest's music can be considered this, often veering into straight-up {{Dream Pop}} territory. "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wxZ1DV9xO4 Délivrance]]", the final song from their latest album ''Shelter'', may be the best and most beautiful example.
* Creator/TheBBC's 2014 music video of Music/TheBeachBoys' [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqLTe8h0-jo "God Only Knows"]]. Beautiful imagery, a fantastic orchestral arrangement and [[MassiveMultiplayerCrossover a literal who's who of amazing singers]] ([[http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/16Pkb2PwbHJxjVhJmYwQBw6/whos-in-the-impossible-orchestra click here for the full list!]]), combined with one of the best love songs ever written makes for this trope all around.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSkr53xfFwg The music video and song "The Whistle Song"]], by the late, great Frankie Knuckles, may just be one of the happiest things ever created.

** The quote's a bit of a TearJerker, considering the strip it comes from is the very last C and H strip. Every other comic of its ten year run is made of cute.
* ''Frazz'' is one of the cleverest strips being published today, and frequently gives the warm fuzzies besides!

* The Ku Klux Klan was listed in the now-removed RealLife section of the NightmareFuel pages, and quite rightly. But the method of their defeat, the complete changing of their image from a distasteful but marginally tolerable part of the American social fabric to a collection of hate-filled idiots, is most definitely this: Superman took them on, and won. No joke. For the serial "Clan of the Fiery Cross," one of the writers of the ''Adventures of Superman'' radio serial infiltrated a "klavern," as the Klan called their chapters, and loaded the script with every last possible bit of genuine Klan slang, methodology and doctrine. The Klan leadership was so panicked they even tried to get the serial cancelled by organizing a boycott of Kellogg's products in Atlanta. It didn't work.

There's just something utterly delightful about a group of men in their sixties and seventies cracking silly (and often subtly dirty) jokes. On top of that, it's been running since 1972, with a lot of the original cast remaining.
* [[http://www.thejoyboys.com/index.html The Joy Boys]], for much of the same reasons as Radio/ImSorryIHaventAClue. Two dorky university students cracking jokes and performing comedy bits. And one of them was Willard Scott (see Live Action TV).

* Almost all of Shakespeare's comedies have at least a little of this in the final scene. Typically, there are WeddingsForEveryone. ''AMidsummerNightsDream'' ends with the promise of eternal love for all the couples, because the fairies are protecting them and will protect their children--plus, the laborers have put on their play, and everyone's going to continue partying, day in and day out, for the next two weeks.
* ''Almost, Maine'' when it isn't being a TearJerker.
* Literature/WarHorse, because SERIOUSLY.
* The Five Dragon Daughter - the allegory of Christ redeeming you in the form of a musical, dance filled, epic adventure, with a questing prince in a mythical Chinese-esque kingdom. The story turns out with all set right, and the original music is fantastic.
* "No One Is Alone" from {{Into The Woods}}

* ''VideoGame/{{cat planet}}'' is a game about collecting {{ridiculously cute critter}}s! there is no explanation at all, and {{death is a slap on the wrist}}! [[RuleOfFun it's just good, plain fun!]]
* Roll's theme song "Kaze yo Tsutaete". it makes you feel warm and happy inside just listening to the cute singing voice of Yoshino Aoki, especially the Japanese version of Tatsunoko vs Capcom.
* ''VideoGame/{{Knytt}}'': One of the best freeware games ever created, it's basically what happens when you take the atmosphere of ''VideoGame/{{Ico}}'' and turn it into a side-scroller. The graphics are deceptively simplistic but soothing, the music is ambient and lively, and the gameplay is so peaceful and dreamlike -- there are almost no enemies in the game, no boss fights, and the only non-enemy way to die is to touch liquids. The crisp pacing and {{Metroidvania}} based gameplay, as well as its short length (it can be beaten in an hour) make it a soothing gaming experience.
* {{Pikmin}} 2: The cynical ideas aside, in Captain Olimar's notes about a certain treasure you pick up, he ''describes how he choreographed a musical'' in which his Pikmin danced and sang on top of the "podium" that this treasure was perceived to be.
** Imagine being able to hug {{Pikmin}}-- if you want to get cavities...
*** Bring on the cavities, then!
* ''VideoGame/YoshisIsland'', at least until you lose Baby Mario. Then it's pretty creepy.
** Try ''Yoshi's Story'', then. Eat fruit. Listen to happy music. Look at pretty pictures. <3!
** He also manages to carry it over to ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBros Brawl''. Right after Link draws the Master Sword, usually a key point in his games, we see Yoshi...sleeping happily on a treestump.
*** And then Link gets attacked, and Yoshi just wanders up, still half-asleep, with an air that says, "Hey bro, what's goin' on over here? Oh, is that all? Cool, I'll give yez a hand."
* [[Anime/{{Hamtaro}} Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Heartbreak]], the adorable characters and the entire premise of helping bring the couples together, not to mention the "Duets" song
* VideoGame/SuperMarioWorld. Look at [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4mwtTPkA9E the GBA version's special intro]] if you have any doubts. This game is made of childhood and curiosity.
* ''Videogame/Kirby64TheCrystalShards''
** And ''Kirby's Dreamland 3'', The 'crayon art' is solidified glee.
** Let's push it up to VideoGame/{{Kirby}} in general, at least when you're not facing bleeding eyeballs.
*** Even then, you can take comfort in the idea that the abominations can, in fact, be defeated.
** ''VideoGame/KirbysEpicYarn'' is made on this stuff, so much so that it mellows out the [[NightmareFuel/{{Kirby}} other kind of dream fuel]] that usually lurks around the Kirby series. [[spoiler: It helps that the BigBad's OneWingedAngel form is a Tankbot-esque robot instead of the usual EldritchAbomination. And it doesn't impede on the [[Awesome/{{Kirby}} awesome]] moments of the game, either.]]
** Kirby is so good at this that the usually manic {{Keet}} [[LetsPlay Medibot]] was incredibly mellow in his LP of ''Crystal Shards''.
* [[http://www.k2xl.com/games/boomshine/ Boomshine]]! Good luck getting your time back.
** But when you fail you get red text with the word "fail". To compare this, imagine you're stroking the best kitty in the world, and accidentally nudge it wrong. The kitty looks at you and says, in the voice of Darth Vader, "You have failed me for the last time, insolent whelp".
*** At the same time, every once in a while the green text saying "So close! Just one away!" is really quite encouraging and refreshing; it takes away all the frustration of failing by only one and makes you want to try again.
* Most anything from {{Orisinal}} ([[http://www.ferryhalim.com/orisinal/ link]]), especially ''[[http://www.ferryhalim.com/orisinal/g3/bells.htm Winterbells]]''.
* The ''VideoGame/{{MOTHER}}'' series, when it's not being bizarre, [[TearJerker heartwrenching]], or [[NightmareFuel terrifying]]. Especially the soundtrack, which has songs like [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhhy5sylSD8 this]].

** The adorable little Mr. Saturns, from the way they talk to their various activities, such as "playing ladder" by stacking up on top of each other.
* ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaTwilightPrincess''' Midna is considered by many to be pretty adorable.
** Even Midna's OneWingedAngel powerup isn't really that scary. Like, yeah there's a house-sized black chitinous spider-thing with a trident stomping around... but it's on ''your'' side.
** ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaTheWindWaker'', all the way through. Little Link is so brave [[AdorablyPrecociousChild and cute!]]
*** 90% of the cast of ''Wind Waker'' and the overall design and mood of the game also apply.
** ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaSkywardSword''. Especially flying around on your giant bird, [[{{Bishounen}} and anything Link does]], and any scene where Link and Zelda interact, squee! <3
* ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVIII''. Yeah, it has its shortcomings... but you can't help wanting to live in that world because of the beautiful, sunshiny look to everything.
** The main point of the ''entire plot'' of the game is Squall coming to realize that friendship and love make life worth living and that the world is worth saving, dammit!
** Even better is that ''VIII'' is one of the few ''FF'' games to end on an unambiguously high note. Heck, [[OfficialCouple Squall and Rinoa]] get to live HappilyEverAfter, and [[spoiler:''[[WhenSheSmiles Squall smiles]]'']]!
* For that matter, ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyIX'', a charming thowback to past [[FinalFantasy Final Fantasies]], where you play as chibi-characters consisting of a cheerful, ChivalrousPervert LoveableRogue with a monkey tail, a six year old GenkiGirl with a small, adorable horn, and a [[TheKlutz klutzy]] ChildMage who is a walking embodiment of TheWoobie, who each gain an integral and heartwarming lesson throughout the story. The save points consist of a wide variety of adorable Moogles (tiny winged bears with pomp pomps on their heads) that write your progress in a story book brought out of {{Hammerspace}} for goodness sake!
* The entirety of KatamariDamacy. Na naaaaaaaa, na na na na naaaaaaah na naaaaa na na na na na naaaaaa...
** Ah dun dun dikadika dun dika dun dun... The [[SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic soundtrack]] is definitely what makes this one break the Happy Meter. ** Katamari Damacy is essentially a direct antidote to the horrors of the ''SilentHill'' series. It's the polar opposite!
* ''VideoGame/HeyYouPikachu'' is pretty much cute in cartridge form. Not only is the only point of the game to have fun romping around with a young Pikachu, said Pikachu is pretty much the most adorably scatterbrained member of the species ever. Also, when you become very close, he will present you with Valuable Treasures like magnets and Pidgey feathers while singing a pirate song in Pika-ese. [[{{Squee}} Eeeeeeee!]]
** This game is made of the cotton candy from your childhood.
** It has kind of a [[spoiler:BittersweetEnding where you have to let Pikachu back into the wild, but Pikachu comes right back and the game continues forevermore]]. After, again, the cutest credits sequence ever. ''Pikachu sings you a song''.
** ''My Pokémon Ranch''. Chibified Pokémon playing with each other. A good deal of them are those you transferred yourself. The concept is way too adorable.
** Don't forget ''VideoGame/PokemonSnap''. Pretty much just a leisurely tour of an island, taking pictures of Pokémon in their natural habitat. One lap around the ultra-serene starlit skies of Rainbow Cloud, with the ultra-cute Mew as your lone photography subject, and you'll be having sweet dreams in no time.
*** Let's not forget the Rainbow Cloud's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UC_K4fwEDOA relaxing music!]]
*** Unless you're dreaming about [[NintendoHard how tough it is to get that picture]]... But then, [[SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome that only makes GETTING it all the sweeter]].
** In ''[[VideoGame/PokemonGoldAndSilver Heart Gold and Soul Silver]]'', the first member of your party walks with your Trainer. If they are sufficiently fond of you, when you interact with them, sometimes they'll dance happily, cuddle or hug you, find small trinkets like shiny pebbles or flowers and give them to you, or just is happy walking beside you. It's incredibly cute. And you can get ANY Pokemon to become like this, [[PhysicalGod Arceus]] can love you just as much as Pikachu, Bulbasaur, and so on.
** In ''[[VideoGame/PokemonDiamondAndPearl Diamond/Pearl/Platinum]]'', there is a character named Dr. Footprint, who analyzes how your Pokémon walk (or fly or scoot or whatever) and tells you how they feel about you. Show him a Pokémon that has a high/maximum friendship rating, and he'll spout adoration on their behalf. Even sweeter if you show him a Pokémon of a typically scary/evil species with a good friendship rating; he lampshades the species's ill repute and thanks you for loving it anyway.
** Let's not forget the Pokemon Dream World in Black and White (2)! Just your Pokemon in a cute style doing cute things with other Pokemon with relaxing music.
** ''VideoGame/PokeParkWii'' is about as innocent and friendly as the series has ever gotten without being boring. Even the characters can be fun, including the sequel's benevolent MadScientist Reuniclus and its antagonist: [[spoiler:Darkrai as a NightmareFuelStationAttendant with a jealous streak who genuinely wants to entertain everyone]]. And you can go out of your way to bring him back after his defeat and befriend him properly. When's the last time you've seen a MakeMyMonsterGrow sequence in a LightheartedRematch?
** The Pokemon Amie feature in ''VideoGame/PokemonXAndY'' is made of this. Petting, feeding, and playing with your Pokemon and seeing their joyful reactions to it is a soothing experience. Even some of the Pokemon who are more readily associated with NightmareFuel like Hydreigon behave in such an adorable fashion that it's hard not to get warm fuzzies from them.
* A somewhat odd example from BaldursGate... Imoen discusses her SuperpoweredEvilSide and mentions that yes, she gets... urges sometimes in the middle of the night. Luckily it's just that the slayer wants a sandwich.
* Florina and Serra's A support in ''FireEmblem: Rekka no Ken''. Florina's declaration of admiration and friendship is so sweet it renders Serra speechless beyond simply "Aww... Florina!"
* [[SonicTheHedgehog Chao Garden]], specially the Sonic Adventure 2 version, with the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYwc_6Wy-kE overly cute song]] playing during your stay.
* Peach. When she's not the DistressedDamsel, she kicks ass and takes names while smiling and looking like a picture book princess.
* Many of ''PopNMusic'''s characters.
** Especially notable with [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJQWznwtO5w&fmt=18 Minit]]. Everything about her is cute, including the song she's in. Even her miss animation (in which she cries) and her "stage failed" animation (in which she cries and needs her brother Timer to comfort her) are cute.
* ''LocoRoco'' Just... LocoRoco. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfDr9eD7wKY&fmt=18 Look at the cute rolling smiley face blobs roll to the music is the brightest, happiest place ever!]]

* The 'Good' ending of ''VideoGame/{{BioShock|1}}''. Sure, the game has some of scariest, most profoundly messed up things ever, but that ending... It was such a SugarWiki/{{Heartwarming Moment|s}} that you may shed ManlyTears.
** [[VideoGame/BioShock2 The sequel's]] good ending also qualifies. [[spoiler: Eleanor is free. * ''VideoGame/TheLegendaryStarfy'' <3! He's so cute and loveable and Kirby-like and has an even cuter sister to boot. The game is adorable.
* ''ChibiRobo'' has, as its main objective, solving the Sanderson family's problems and making everyone happy. It is also cute.
* ''VideoGame/{{Flower}}''. Just... just Flower. For the most part.
* ''VideoGame/{{MonsterTale}}'' is about [[ABoyAndHisX a girl and her monster]] and an adventure to save The Monster's world, full of [[RidiculouslyCuteCritter ridiculous cute critters]], and even the creepy parts aren't that creepy.
* ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWars''. Imagine growing up watching all kinds of SuperRobot and [[RealRobot Real Robots]] shows, like MazingerZ, Daitarn3, the various Franchise/{{Gundam}}s, GetterRobo and all others and see them all join forces to defeat the forces of evil and save the day even from world-ending tragedies like those of Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion or SpaceRunawayIdeon... No villain ever becomes a KarmaHoudini, and - if you play you cards right - the sympathetic characters can all be saved from their untimely death.
** Not just that, but it turns out more than just music is [[MemeticMutation overri]]'''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ot-0-KyPd0Y TROMBE!]]''' Seriously, how can you stay in a sad mood with that [[EarWorm lodged in your ear]]?
** If you add this unrelated [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpo9_5HIHTQ music]] from ''VideoGame/VirtualOn Force''... Holy shit!! Even more of a Sweet Dreams Fuel for both game series!!! Imagine all the heroes making a victory march together in space after defeating the ultimate force of evil!!!
* The Soar Star theme from ''VideoGame/SuperMarioGalaxy''. Everyone likes the flying dream, and it's the perfect soundtrack.
* NiGHTS. Something about having a creature who is technically a nightmare protecting you in your dreams is incredibly comforting. Plus, "Dream Dream" is such a wonderful song.
* ''RobotUnicornAttack''.
* The soundtrack to ''{{Ristar}}''; yeah, you were on your way to take down the evil empire, but some of the music really made you feel everything would be OK by the end of the adventure. (Ristar's little "waiting" animations and the pictures during the end credits helped to drive that point home.) It would be great to dream about exploring planets [[UnderwaterRuins 2]], [[BandLand 4]] and [[SlippySlideyIceWorld 5]].
* ''{{Okami}}'' has its moments. Scratch that, it's 90% Sweet Dreams moments. Sidequests include feeding kitties and making sakura bloom. The characters are all so loveable, from silly Mr. Orange to Queen Himiko. The brush gods are awesome, and Amaterasu is humorous as well as good-hearted. Even some of the battles are sweet--fighting Waka with his amazing flute-sword and fighting Hayabusa as he tries to trap you in a hole in the ground and do doggy business. Heck, in the Moon Cave and Oni Island dungeons, which are supposed to be NIGHTMARE fuel, just don't seem that scary once you meet imp chef Ajimi and Demon Paper Tobi.
** Admittedly it has a lot of Nightmare Fuel too.
** Come on, we've got to mention the ending. [[spoiler: After being stripped of all your powers by Yami, the final boss, nearly all of the characters whose lives you've been working to improve throughout the game come to your aid, not by fighting, but by expressing their belief in you and your efforts. Not to mention the RidingIntoTheSunset AndTheAdventureContinues closing scene.]]
* The first ''KingdomHearts'' is this... when it's not too busy being [[NightmareFuel/KingdomHearts Nightmare Fuel]].
** BirthBySleep and Days also dip into it when they delve into the TrueCompanions the heroes have.
** The antics of your Dream Eater allies in ''VideoGame/KingdomHearts3D'' can be quite adorable, even in the case of the ones who don't look particularly adorable.
* Zelda's Lullaby from ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaOcarinaOfTime'' really would make a good lullaby. The way Link sways back and forth while playing it on his ocarina is also charming, as is the blue magic that surrounds him while he does so.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93py7MHab7c Prelude to Light]] is a pretty good candidate as well.
* EliteBeatAgents. Some songs are funny. Some songs are heartwrenching. But every time the world is saved by everyone getting together and dancing, you'll smile for the rest of the day.
* Servbots! Whether from ''The Misadventures of Tron Bonne'' or [[CapcomVsWhatever Marvel vs Capcom 2]], you just can't help but feel all warm and fuzzy when these guys are around. Even when they're [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87z8iYtA5vI beating up manly men.]]
* ''VideoGame/{{Braid}}''. [[MoodWhiplash The]] [[NightmareFuel first]] [[TrueArtIsAngsty half]].
* Even though it's only for FaceBook and MySpace, the game ''PetSociety'' by Playfish. It's where you make a pet, and try to raise coins to buy nice-looking clothes and furniture. Absolutely nothing there is inappropriate, violent or creepy-looking at all. One of those games for all ages that all could enjoy.
* VideoGame/KingsQuest games have a fair amount of NightmareFuel, EverythingTryingToKillYou, and GuideDangIt... but if you reach the GoldenEnding? They are a banquet of sweet dreams.
* The GoldenEnding to ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyX-2''.
* VideoGame/EndlessOcean. Launch the game. Listen to the smooth music. Dive. Pet cute fishes. Relax.
* Even the NightmareFuel -prone ''Franchise/{{Castlevania}}'' has a few of this as well. The most notable should be the LighterAndSofter ''VideoGame/CastlevaniaPortraitOfRuin'', where Jonathan Morris and Charlotte Aulin, the close childhood friends, make the adventure as an opposite-sex duet, as opposed to the other protagonists going solo in the other Metroidvania games. From the way they interact with and tease each other, it gives a hint they have sincere crush with each other; Charlotte's wedding dress and engagement ring, especially when paired with Jonathan's tuxedo, further fuels this.
** Just add any of the music of [[{{Gradius}} Salamander]] such as [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=le0Y4JsCEd8 this]], which happens to be from the same company as ''Castlevania'', and you get a romantic duet adventure in space - Charlotte is a Vic Viper, and Jonathan is a Lord British/ Super Cobra, respectively.
*** How about adding Stella and Loretta as [[{{Gradius}} Jade Knight and Falchion Beta from Gradius Gaiden]]?? XD
** Apart from the two protagonists, there's Jonathan regaining his respect for his father, and the general theme of familial love as expressed by Brauner, his daughters, and [[spoiler:Eric Lecarde]]. The game even manages to make the relationship between ''Dracula and Death'' heartwarming!
** Considering that the plot of the previous two installments of the series revolved around a RivalTurnedEvil and the next one had a BigBadFriend, it was surprisingly refreshing to see the protagonist find genuine TrueCompanions in ''AriaOfSorrow''. Especially when you consider that their YouAreNotAlone speech [[spoiler:essentially convinces the BigBad of the series to change his ways, and gives him back what he had lost centuries ago. And the story's being told from ''his'' viewpoint.]]
** Even though it has some of the most potent NightmareFuel in the series, ''VideoGame/CastlevaniaSymphonyOfTheNight'' is almost pure 2-D sidescrolling bliss, with some incredibly enjoyable and atmospheric levels, some highly amusing and enjoyable weapons and familiars to use, and one of the beautiful soundtracks ever put to a video game. If the song [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9sOvWD8eATg Lost Painting]] doesn't put you in a dream like state, nothing will.
* The music in {{Gradius}} gives this, in spite of the game's tendency to give NightmareFuel just like ''Franchise/{{Castlevania}}''. Hearing it over the course, how would one not think of an amazing, heroic space adventure even if one is fighting a war against the EldritchAbomination??
* AnimalCrossing. An idyllic little town where you can talk to cute anthropomorphic animals, fill your house with fountains and spaceships (or whatever else you want), or just kick back and go fishing. This game is the perfect antidote to a bad day.
** The music is uplifting too. Almost every track from the original Gamecube game is amazing, and cheery. Namely the title theme.
** It's better on Portable. Nothing against the console versions, but it can be nice to pull out a 3/DS when you're having a bad day and escape into your own private utopia.
* ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaSpiritTracks''. Link and Zelda scenes. That is all.
* The ending of ''VideoGame/GhostTrick'': [[spoiler: After a night of undoing death after death Sissel finally manages to fix the world so EverybodyLives. Even Kamila's mother and Yomiel's fiancee. The ending sequence is an entire montage of everyone going about their newly renewed lives, peaceful and happy--including lonely kitten Sissel himself, who is adopted by Jowd and his family.]] Think about this again: [[spoiler: You broke one of the most persistent curses that inevitably plague any anime-style storyline: The dead mother.]] [[spoiler: It feels like you flat out ignored the laws of the universe when you realize you actually brought Kamila's mother back from the dead!]]
* The entirety of the ''HarvestMoon'' series is this, really; a pleasant little utopia where nothing bad ever happens and you can spend your days watering virtual crops and petting virtual animals. It's so soothing.
** Nothing bad ever happens? What about [[spoiler: Nina's death]]? Or worse, [[spoiler: your own at the end?]]
*** Super-bad stuff may or may not happen depending on the game. Most of the bad things are minor in the scope of the games, and can be fixed. Crops drowned out by rain? You can replant. Animals mad at you or sick? You can make it up to them/heal them with medicine.
* The entirety of ''VideoGame/DeadOrAlive Xtreme/Paradise.'' A summer sports game and vacation sim with beautiful scenery, all about having fun on a beautiful tropical island vacation, which completely frees the series from the often quite dark storylines of the main series. They're even playing with the villain of the series as if they're all good friends! Awwww!
** And for the [[MaleGaze male players]], it's fuel for a whole different kind of [[SomethingElseAlsoRises "sweet dreams"]].
* The downloadable game ''VideoGame/AlwaysRememberMe'', a dating/life sim game where you play as Amy, a girl whose boyfriend, Aaron, has forgotten her after a car accident. Not only does the game allow you to get the happy ever after with Aaron, but also it encourages you to play through again to try to get a different happy ever after with one of three other guys who in their own way, have feelings for Amy. Plus every happy ever after is the topped with a perfect ending scenario, making it like dipping a strawberry in ice-cream. And that's not even getting to the theme music for the game [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OmpfkMtJVE it will rekindle your belief in true love]]
* ''VideoGame/DarkCloud II''. You go around the continent and restore things to its former beauty, helping and recruiting a colorful cast of NPC's to aid the heroes in their journey. The bright, cel-shaded visuals really add to the sunshiny look to almost everything. In between rebuilding the world and bopping monsters, if there's water nearby you can pull out your fishing pole and have at it, or play a funky cool version of golf (Spheda). And whenever you go fishing or play Spheda, a nice, soothing acoustic [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eCfG4J5pZE song]] plays
* The turret opera at the end of VideoGame/{{Portal 2}}, the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtAXSyFCWXY translated lyrics are so sweet]].
** No mention of the VideoGame/{{Portal}} ending song? Sure, GLaDOS is making grim jokes at parts, but the entire song, being clever yet still good sounding, was a great way to end the game.
* Videogame/SuperMarioRPG and its SpiritualSuccessor, PaperMario. These inventive and charming {{Role Playing Game}}s will give even the most jaded gamer a warm and fuzzy feeling when playing through them.
* The Videogame/{{Atelier}} series, with the exception of the Atelier Iris and Mana Khemia games, are about as sunny as an RPG series can get. There are no real villains outside of the monsters you fight, no serious threats to the world, country, or town, no wars, and a cast of fundamentally good characters. Atelier Iris and Mana Khemia games have villains and higher stakes, but are still more light-hearted than most {{Role Playing Game}}s.
* ''VideoGame/{{Bully}}''. As much of a CrapsackWorld it is with an almost frightening portrayal of AdultsAreUseless, you can rest easily knowing that if this actually ''did'' happen in real life, someone would have called the police and Bullworth would have been closed within a year.
* ''Videogame/{{Dikembe Mutombos Four And A Half Weeks To Save The World}}'' Nobody thought about the ending of this? Everyone singing about not being dead, and living will ALWAYS bring a smile to your face.
* The entire ending of LuigisMansionDarkMoon. [[spoiler: The once again friendly ghosts playing with the protagonists really sells it. Even Luigi, who's normally deeply afraid of ghosts, is actually enjoying himself. He even adopts the Polterpup!]]
* ''Videogame/ProfessorLaytonAndTheMiracleMask''. Happiest ending of the series and some really adorable moments, including a mini-game where you take care of a rabbit and teach it tricks for performing circus acts.
* ''Videogame/TokimekiMemorial'' is generally a big dose of sweet dreams fuel, but "love mode" in the DS version of ''Girl's Side 2nd Season'' is just full of squee. It has [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RxuyzO-_2Y a wonderful song]] and the guy you've been chasing muttering things in a mushy voice (you don't even need to speak Japanese to get the gist of it). Plus it ''only'' activates when he really likes you and the date went especially well. Poking them too much occasionally results in a SugarWiki/{{Funny Moment|s}}, too.
* ''VideoGame/SuperMario3DWorld'' is an absolutely beautiful and stunning game for the WiiU! From the Sprixies to the {{Call Back}}s, this game is full of heartwarming moments and memorable levels! Especially the fact that this marks the first time after many years, the cast of ''SuperMarioBros2'' are finally reunited and better than ever! Not to mention, the mind-blowing orchestrated soundtrack, courtesy of Koji Kondo and Mahito Yokota. And plus, [[CuteKitten cats]].
* ''VideoGame/TeamFortress2.'' A beautiful First Person Shooter in a lovely cartoony style, with the most hilarious characters and voice lines imaginable and utterly funny gameplay. Hell, this entire game is one big SugarWiki/{{Funny Moment|s}}!
** Crack open [[AllThereInTheManual the supplemental material]], though, and [[CerebusSyndrome it's]] [[SpyDrama a different story...]]but it still manages to be so over the top that it's still funny.
* ''VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys'' has a reputation of being one of the scariest games, if not ''the'' scariest, in existence. But you'll find the game is not so scary if you read what the fandom's been up to on tumblr, or [[http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Funny/FiveNightsAtFreddys this page.]]
* ''VideoGame/YumeNikki'' is mostly made of pure SurrealHorror and NightmareFuel. But interlaced with the surreality and horror are some truly beautiful realms, like the Sky Gardens or Neon City.

* ''CountYourSheep''. A webcomic about a young girl, her widowed mother, and the imaginary friend they share that helps out in the event of insomnia. Both funny and cute.
* ''Webcomic/CityOfReality'', starts out in a world made entirely of good and friendly people.
* ''Webcomic/MyCardboardLife'', a SliceOfLife comic about people made from materials such as cardboard, paper, and tin foil (et cetera) is consistently adorable without being sappy or [[TastesLikeDiabetes Tasting Like Diabetes]]. * ''Webcomic/AMomentOfPeace'', despite its AfterTheEnd setting, is one huge lump of this trope.
* ''Webcomic/MyMilkToof''. A web photocomic about two baby teeth going on adorable, kid-friendly adventures.

* Charlie Brown and Snoopy's cartoons are covered with sweet moments.
* Pretty much any cartoon made by Creator/BobClampett is going to be Sweet Dreams Fuel for anyone who loves [[ZanyCartoon Zany Cartoons]]. BeanyAndCecil in particular is loaded with this trope, with some of the most imaginative stories and gags of any cartoon from the 60's. However, Bob can just as easily switch to the [[NightmareFuel complete opposite]] once the oppurtunity arises, as he demonstrates in PorkyInWackyland and TheGreatPiggyBankRobbery.
* WaltDisney. Not the modern company, but the man himself. Regardless of all the rumors, you can't look at a picture of good old Uncle Walt smiling and not smile. His voice also had that "kind father telling bedtime stories" quality to it - even when he's outlining his plans for [[ShiningCity the Florida Project]], there's a genuine warmth in his voice.
** Most of the DisneyAnimatedCanon counts when it's not [[TearJerker/{{Disney}} making you cry]] or [[NightmareFuel/{{Disney}} giving you nightmares]].
* The {{Tom and Jerry}} episodes produced by [[http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Fred_Quimby&oldid=592616354 Fred Quimby]]
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Pocoyo}}''. Straight up.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Futurama}}'' - great show, lots of moments that are Sweet Dreams Fuel, but there's something about the theme song that just puts a smile on my face every. single. time.
** The theme song was so innovative, it [[ExecutiveMeddling almost didn't make it]] onto the show. The ''WesternAnimation/{{Futurama}}'' theme is based on "Psyché Rock", one of the more accessible compositions by ''musique concrète'' progenitor Pierre Henry. In that context, however, it's possible for music to be relatively accessible yet [[TrueArtIsIncomprehensible almost devoid of melody]]. (To be fair: both pieces somehow have a melody, despite being based almost entirely on percussion.)
** The characters are enough. And the laughs make everything so great.
** "Neutopia", an episode that aired shortly after the series got UnCancelled, has the core cast [[GenderBender gender-flipped]]... but not before becoming genderless first. The episode is about sexism, and to prove its point, the genderless Planet Express crew gets along ''really'' well before getting Rule 63'd. And before the dumpload of FanDisservice that's the latter half of the episode... [[http://pool.theinfosphere.org/images/8/89/620-Sleeping.jpg you get to see one of the cutest scenes in the entire series.]]
* ''TheSimpsons'' may be full of dark satire and bitingly sharp wit, but just three seconds of any town scene, or a single ''frame'' of the opening credits, let alone an entire episode; is enough to cause an explosion of cozy, bright-colored, safe, nothing-will-ever-change [[SecurityBlanket security.]]
* ''WesternAnimation/DextersLaboratory'' makes me smile just thinking about it. Anyone else love this inventive, clever show?
** Me me me! And I love the "Justice Friends" cartoons, too.
* The ''WesternAnimation/JusticeLeague'' episode "Comfort and Joy" makes me smile. Especially Ma and Pa Kent greeting their son's guest, the Martian Manhunter. "Oh, we're used to aliens around here." And Superman trying to use his X-ray vision to see through the wrapping paper. Love it.
** I love the episode "Flash and Substance". A fun, lighthearted episode with wonderful dialogue. And Creator/MarkHamill as the Trickster. And great character interplay. I understand this episode is a fan favorite, and I can see why.
* ''WesternAnimation/PhineasAndFerb''. Hey Ferb, I know what we're gonna do today!
* Y'know what? I ''love'' ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyAndFriends''. It makes me happy when I'm down. TheMovie and the original special are the best--[[EarWorm Call Upon the Sea Ponies]] and [[EarWorm Nothing Can Stop the Smooze]] and witches being punished by eating ice cream and light triumphing over dark...
** Let's not forget ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'' either. While it has occasional dark themes and even NightmareFuel, at its core it's still a show about six friends overcoming whatever life throws their way through ThePowerOfFriendship. It also has some of the cutest characters you're liable to ever see, such as [[TheCutie Fluttershy]], who is impossible to look at without suffering an adorableness overload, and the [[{{Adorkable}} lovable egghead]] Twilight Sparkle.
* ''Franchise/CareBears''. Because fluffy, plushie-like critters trying to bring happiness and smiles to people is just really cute.
* Ding-A-Ling Wolf from ''WesternAnimation/HokeyWolf ''cartoons is just made of Sweet Dreams Fuel.
* ''Franchise/WinnieThePooh''. Just, ''Winnie the Pooh''.
** Walt Disney Classic Animation (''Disney/SnowWhite'', ''Disney/SleepingBeauty'', ''Disney/{{Bambi}}'', to list a few) are designed to give this to the audience, although they also highlight it further by addng the contrasting NightmareFuel, too.
* ''WesternAnimation/FostersHomeForImaginaryFriends''. It's a sweet and funny show with sweet and funny characters. Pretty much every character's really cute.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Chowder}}''. Especially the finale. Try not to d'awwwww at Scraps. I dare you.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheAmazingWorldOfGumball'' is the Sweet Dreams Fuel Unleaded. Colorful, multi-styled, and funny at times.
* ''WesternAnimation/KaBlam'' can brighten any rainy day. Funny and at times, cute. I dare you not to smile when Loopy smiles.
** Or if June sings.
** Or if Race Rabbot appears. C`mon, he's a little animatronic (but very realistic) bunny! So cute!!!!
** Sniz and Fondue can make a person smile too. Who in the bloody hell can't resist their simple, yet cute looks?!
* ''WesternAnimation/MinaAndTheCount'', hailing from WhatACartoonShow, was made up almost entirely of this trope.
* If it can be considered western, anything animated by Creator/RankinBass. It just leaves you with a fuzzy feeling, the kind reserved for great and memorable Christmases.
** Heck, Christmas movies in general are like this -- such as ''Film/OliveTheOtherReindeer'', or even ''WesternAnimation/HowTheGrinchStoleChristmas''.
* Although it only lasted 2 seasons (due to its poor time slot), ''MissionHill'' is perhaps one of the funniest animated cartoons you'll ever see. Just watch [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrU8mSCVKK4 this clip]] to see what I mean.
* The theme songs to 1980's British children's shows ''PostmanPat'' and ''FiremanSam''. '''Try''' not humming along cheerfully.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EURF2PlIqtE Perils of Love]] SlapSlapKiss never was so adorable.
* TheSmallOne is all about a little boy trying to find a home for his beloved pet donkey. As with most Creator/DonBluth, even the {{Tear Jerker}}s are heartwarming.
* Classic-era ''ThomasTheTankEngine & Friends''.
* ''Bagpuss''. Of all Peter Firmin and Oliver Postgate's "small worlds", this may be the sweetest and most comforting. The songs will instantly transport Brits of a certain age back to their childhoods.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Recess}}''. The show is built on [[SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome awesome]], SugarWiki/{{heartwarming|Moments}}, and SugarWiki/{{funny moments}}. The characters are all very likable, and the main six kids are adorable. This will bring anyone back to their elementary school days.
** Agreed. The creators come from ''WesternAnimation/{{Rugrats}}'', which is already full of Sweet Dreams Fuel to begin with, and most of the episodes have really good lessons about life at the end. And let's face it, almost anyone who grew up watching the show wanted T.J. [[UndyingLoyalty Detweiler]] as their best friend.
* The Pre-Pieman 2003 Franchise/StrawberryShortcake series qualifies. Nothing too scary ever occurs in the show and it and episodes always end on a high note.
* ''WesternAnimation/PBAndJOtter''. Just ''PB&J Otter''. It's from the same minds that brought us ''WesternAnimation/{{Doug}}''!
* ''WesternAnimation/TheGrimAdventuresOfBillyAndMandy'' bends over backwards to try and be NightmareFuel, but is so hilarious that it trips over its own shoelaces and falls into this trope.
** It's full of monsters, but most of them either turn out to be UglyCute or far too ridiculous to be even remotely scary.
*** Grim's the freakin' ''GrimReaper'' and even HE'S adorable.
* [[WesternAnimation/BlinkyBill The Adventures Of Blinky Bill.]] In particular, the character [[TheWoobie Shifty]] [[PreciousPuppy Dingo]].
* The WesternAnimation/{{Popples}} will make you smile! It's cute and funny, too!
* For dino-fans looking for an aversion for ArtisticLicensePaleontology: ''WesternAnimation/DinosaurTrain''. It is also quite entertaining, in spite of being a kid's show on PBS.
* ''Small Potatoes''. A bunch of potatoes with British accents sing about things like being a good friend and enjoying the little things in life as is ''Small Potatoes Bill Thompson & The Small Potatoes''. ''D'aaaaaawwww''.
* ''WesternAnimation/BatmanTheBraveAndTheBold'' Is the one Batman series where it's lighter and softer compared the the previous animated takes on Batman. However what takes the cake is the TearJerker[=/=]SugarWiki/{{Heartwarming Moment|s}} ending that shows almost every character, good and bad, have a little goodbye party, before the show is canceled. All topped with Batman telling that, so long as evil exists, he'll be there to stop it even in the next show and that is sweet dreams fuel indeed.
-->'''Batman:''' So, this is really it.\\
'''Ambush Bug:''' Yeah, looks like. At least you can say you had a good run.\\
'''Batman:''' A great run. ''(to the camera)'' And until we meet again, boys and girls, know that wherever evil lurks, in all its myriad forms, I'll be there, with the hammers of justice, to fight for decency and defend the innocent. Goodnight.
-->--''Batman [[BittersweetEnding closing the show]]'', '''"Mitefall!"'''
* "It's time for ''{{WesternAnimation/Animaniacs}}''! And we're zany to the max..."
* ''WesternAnimation/WanderOverYonder'' is a brilliant throwback to all that made cartoons great. Just try to listen to the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwN5HLiZ7_o opening titles]] without smiling immediately.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Doug}}'' is a really fun, sweet, and relatable SliceOfLife show (notably one of the very first ones) with fun characters and good life lessons. The title character himself is very sweet as well.
* ''WesternAnimation/ChalkZone'' might not have been popular on Nick, but the cute characters, fun atmosphere, catchy music, and the entire concept of a land made up of erased chalk drawings makes it one of the best Nicktoons to watch after having a bad day. A number of the music videos played at the end of the show could [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dT8kbxkNGo also]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XOCiB0vmww qualify]].

Then there's [[http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006qfvv the forecast itself]], whereby the weather report for the seas around the coasts of the British Isles is read calmly at dictation speed. * [[DisneyThemeParks Any Disney Theme Park]], particularly because of attractions like ''Soarin''', ''Philarmagic'', ''Ride/MuppetVision3D'' or the like. The audiobook is read by Neil Peart, Rush's drummer and lyricist, and while he isn't exactly the greatest actor in the world, his voice is deep and booming and soothing and kind of has a "grandfather-telling-you-a-bedtime-story" quality to it, even if the plot of the novel (set in a dystopian steampunk universe) doesn't necessarily constitute itself to a bedtime story. Neil's voice is just so sonorous and relaxing.

* The feeling of belonging. Especially after being the loner for so long, it's delightful and amazing to feel part of a group.
** I imagine for a lot of people - conventions and other fan events. There is nothing like this.

Everyone enjoying each other's spectrum of creative works, staying out until strange hours, having so much fun that some forget to eat and bathe (a sidenote: if you go to a convention, please eat and bathe.) It's hard to put the right words to that kind of concentrated delight.

* Reading this page after spending several hours reading the old War And Crimes Against Humanity page and and similar, reducing to tears from the sadness. I now have a smile on my face and tears of heartwarming.
* Turtles (and Tortoises too), natch! A lot of them are peace-loving creatures that generally do no harm to others (salmonella and snapping turtles aside). The [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ymrrzjaDIQ&feature=fvsr sea turtle is one of the most beautiful sea critters out there in the ocean.]]

* Squirrels. Watching those cute, furry little bushy-tailed critters timidly running away from people on the ground, and then leaping fearlessly between high tree branches is always nice.

** Or snuggling up to a real animal (providing it's a domesticated dog and cat that knows you, of course) Just having your pet be with you, feeling him/her beathe in content in your arms...it just reminds you that there's at least one creature on this whole planet that cares about you. * Sunrises. There's something so wonderful about the promise of a new day and a fresh start.
* Getting help from a stranger. Be it carrying your grocery shopping to your car, holding a door open when your hands are full, or picking up something you've dropped, few things are nicer than that split-second interaction that somehow manages to be so meaningful. Along the same lines, helping someone out with something, stranger or not, can give you a warm, fuzzy feeling.

* One of the best excuses to go to Pier 38 in San Francisco during the summer months: the harbor seals have migrated back and they have babies with them!
* Hamsters. That is all.
* A beautiful woman walking around [[DoesNotLikeShoes barefoot]].
* Looking out at the grassy landscape outside of your back door if you live in the suburbs. The trees, the birds, the squirrels... And likely other wildlife that peacefully co-exists with you, especially if you leave food out for them. It can be truly relaxing and make you [[FriendToAllLivingThings feel like you have a bunch of furry, feathery, and/or scaly neighbors that quietly appreciate the things you do.]] And it really highlights how utterly calm it is compared to the hustle and bustle of the city you're probably close to.
* What about kisses, people?? Whether it's between lovers, family members (not like that, of course!), or between one friend to another who needs to be cheered up, the tender feeling of someone's lips against your face can make even the bleakest day seem brighter.
* Pugs and their puppies. Especially black pugs.
* Foals of any kind.
* It's hard to tell if this is Sweet Dreams or just plain Heartwarming (maybe both!), but the moment where you fail at something you've been trying to do for ages and ages... and then realise that you did better than last time and you're so much closer than you were when you started.
