A 2011 TVDocumentary and tie-in book from the Creator/DiscoveryChannel, presented by renowned paleontologist and tyrannosaur-enthusiast Phil Currie. The main theme is finding evidence to support Currie's theory of pack-hunting tyrannosaurs. Interestingly, it focuses on ''Tarbosaurus'' rather than ''Tyrannosaurus rex''.

Compare to ''Series/ValleyOfTheTRex'', an older Discovery docu that proposes the exact opposite idea, that tyrannosaurs were scavengers.

!!Used tropes:
* AnachronismStew: T. rex of 68-66 mya is shown hunting ''Parasaurolophus'' from 75 mya.
* ArtisticLicensePaleontology: A couple of points:
** The central idea of pack hunting tyrannosauroids is a heavily discussed topic, and does indeed make many experts cry, because it's more sensationalist than scientific. There's little evidence that tyrannosaurs were pack hunters, and even less for ''Tarbosaurus'' itself. And no, finding different individuals at the same place, that all died at the same time, is not concrete evidence.
** Anatomically iffy dinosaurs. The adult ''Tarbosaurus'' looks like a cross between the ''Series/WalkingWithDinosaurs'' and ''Series/AnimalArmageddon'' ''Tyrannosaurus'' (both of which were already pretty badly designed), while the "''Parasaurolophus''" could pass for a {{CGI}} hand-puppet.
* FeatheredFiend: Various feathered dinosaurs that appear in StockFootage shots.
* RealIsBrown: Or, rather, real is gray, as apart from the StockFootage dinos, the animals have mainly dull colors, mostly gray, black and muted green.
* StockFootage: From ''WesternAnimation/WhenDinosaursRoamedAmerica'', ''Series/ClashOfTheDinosaurs'', ''Series/DinosaurPlanet'', and various modern-day nature documentaries. However a lot of new animation also gets repeated.
* ZergRush: From tyrannosaurs, no less!
