This was a British TV series from the 1960's and 1970's, aimed at children, in which zookeeper turned TV star Johnny Morris humorously explained the ways and lifestyles of his zoo animals to children by adding vocal soundtracks to his interactions with the animals, or their interactions with each other, Morris putting words into their mouths.

!!This TV show has examples of these tropes:

* AnimalReactionShot: the raison d'etre of the show. Morris anthropomorphised their expressions and attitudes with expositions of what he imagined they were thinking.
* AnimalStereotypes: This was, effectively and literally, LiesToChildren, introducing them to the animal world in a way small children could understand.
* FluffyTamer: Johnny Morris with the more lively and dangerous specimens.
* HilarityInZoos: the setting called for this (Bristol Zoo)
