A crossover RPG, based around Marvel comics and DC comics. Everyone knows their superheroes, their powers and stories. Some of the more initiated know that the two companies and the heroes they make are literally worlds apart. But what if they weren't? What if both the Marvel superheroes and DC superheroes had always shared the same fictional universe? One thing's for certain: there'd have to be a helluva lot of adjustment.

And that's the premise of this RP: to reboot the universe so that Marvel and DC characters could coexist, and then bump them off each other and watch the sparks fly. The characters are, of course, strictly to be taken from the two companies alone. But the reboot factor gives enough wiggle room that players can put whatever spin they like on classic characters.

!Tropes Found In This RPG Include

* BattleButler: Johan, one of Joker's thugs, seems to be this. He's described as being muscular and helped Harley in her prison break scheme at The Raft, giving the implication that's he's a trained agent. Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne's butler, may also count, if his history as a diplomat has any relevance.
* BigApplesauce: There seem to be more mutants sprouting up in New York City than any other place in the world, and it seems that New York's population is much higher than surrounding cities like Gotham and Metropolis, which often stood in for NYC in their respective canons.
** LampShaded by Miss Martian:
-->'''Miss Martian:''' ''"Oh, sure. I could have gone to Hawaii or some other place on Earth. But every time we watched an Earth news report on Mars, they always took place in New York!"''
%%* BountyHunter: Rocket Racoon
* TheCameo: Many characters have mentioned Creator/StephenColbert, and he has even "appeared" commenting on some of the recent events.
** And following a tradition set by recent Marvel movies, Stan Lee has also appeared.
%%* CaptainObvious: The Question sometimes.
* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: Justified given the fact that this is a role-play that anyone can join and leave, several roleplayers leave along with their characters, often with no in-universe explanation.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: The Creeper
* CompositeCharacter: A few. Since the universes have been blended together, some of the characters from DC and Marvel that are especially similar have been glued together. Perhaps the most peculiar though is Sandman, who is a blend of both Wesley Dodds and his girlfriend Dian.
%%* DeadpanSnarker: Tony Stark. Oy Vey! Tony Stark!
%%* DespairEventHorizon: The Weeper's goal for everything.
* DivergentCharacterEvolution: The Arrowverse's Sara Lance is now an American-British person, and from OopNorth.
* DreamingOfThingsToCome: The Sandman's superpower. [[BlessedWithSuck It isn't all it's cracked up to be.]]
* HandWave: Whenever Mary Marvel acts more mature than a little girl, her writer says it's because "the wisdom of Solomon".
* HellholePrison: The Raft, a maximum-security prison island nearby Ryker's Island. The guards are rather neglectful and let the prison's modern technology take care of most of their problems, and the inmates are among the most insane and depraved in the state.
%%* HypercompetentSidekick: Pyk to Rocket, Harley and Johan to Joker, JARVIS to Tony.
%%* IncorruptiblePurePureness: Jaime
%%* IntrepidReporter: Jack Ryder
%%* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Rocket Raccoon
* JokerImmunity: [[JustifiedTrope Justified]] by ComicBook/TheJoker himself:
--> '''Joker:''' ''Ah, but that's not fun, is it? What's the point in this whole killing thing. If you kill me, I don't come back. I don't get to have fun. You don't have to get fun. You run out of a job to do. And suddenly, the people, they start questioning your actions... asking why do they need people like you. And before you know, you're in Arkham, and I'm six feet under, laughing my butt off.''
* MoralityChain: Pepper Potts and the team serve as one for Tony.
* MyFutureSelfAndMe: During the Night of the Wraiths, Access gets a run in with an older version of himself, a manifestation of his biggest fear.
* PsychopathicManChild: Creeper is a subversion of this in that he's a good guy but otherwise fits.
%%** Obviously, the Joker.
%%* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Professor X and Jean Grey both qualify. Scott Summers not so much.
%%* ShamingTheMob: Rocket manages this during the climax of Joker's plot.
%%* TragicMonster: Man-Bat.
%%* WasOnceAMan: Man-Bat, hence the name.
%%* WhenSheSmiles: Rogue has this effect on Jaime.
