The Fire Emblem RPG is a PlayByPostGame on the Website/TVTropes message board.

It is set 100 to 150 years after the Tellius timeline (''VideoGame/FireEmblemPathOfRadiance'' and ''VideoGame/FireEmblemRadiantDawn'') of the canon series and it follows the adventures of a band of warriors from very different backgrounds that joined together to repel a bandit attack that struck the little town they where staying in.

Their efforts won them the attention of King Alain of Crimea who hired the band of warriors to escort him in a diplomatic journey to the distant land of Hatari, but there may be much more to him than meets the eye. On their way there, the adventurers find that the world is still rife with conflict despite the apparent peace of the past century or so, and the main plotline follows how they react to the rising tensions in Tellius.

!!This game has examples of:

%%* ActionGirl: Selene, Andrea, and Lydia.
* AffablyEvil: While Alain's "evil" has been of the passive variety as of yet, some of his inner monologues have shown that he isn't what he seems. Even so, he's more or less fooled everyone else in Tellius into thinking that he is a good guy.
* AristocratsAreEvil: King Alain is heavily implied to have less than the altruistic motives he claims to have behind his actions. While the Empress has close ties to Blackfang and the Dukes are divided and suffer from open in-fighting. The only actually noble noble is the King of Daein who's court is rife with corruption.
** Brett, a brutish knight and lord who hates Laguz for killing a lot of his friends.
%%* TheAtoner: Felix.
%%* BadassPreacher: Simon [[spoiler:[[AllThereInTheManual in the backstory]] and]] in his duel with Aerion.
%%* TheBrute: Lord Brett, boss of chapter 3, pretty much just follows his teacher Ceres' direction.
%%* ChaoticNeutral: Sarath
%%* TheChessmaster: All the Begnion nobles, particularly Kurt.
%%* ChivalrousPervert: Alan was this, but it lessened greatly when he found he was really in love with Selene. Harold was planned to be this but is moving away from the pervert area.
* CombatPragmatist: Spartan seems to subscribe to the "all's fair in love and war" school of thought, since he just {{Groin Attack}}ed an enemy. Didn't work, but that doesn't change how underhanded a tactic that was.
** Felix dips into this from his assassin days.
%%* ConspiracyTheorist: Rein
%%* CrutchCharacter: Spartan, Liam D'Angelou, Alain, Rogers.
%%* EpiphanyTherapy: Harold had one.
* EvilerThanThou: Mad Lord Aerion is eviler than Ceres and Lord Brett, and his methods have led to a lot of hate from both sides of the fourth wall. [[spoiler: According to his [[AllThereInTheManual sign-up sheet]], he's allied with King Alain, though there has been little evidence of this yet in the [=RP=].]]
* GambitPileup: As of chapter 3, notable schemers included an Assassin's guild, their reluctant employee Selene, The King of Crimea, Daein lord Ceres, Liam: a completely separate assassin sent to target Brett (since bought out by Alain), and [[GuileHero Rein]]. Chapter four added Aerion, but maybe not for long.
** Add Kurt Rossiel to this list. His plotting has involved some key plot events, and he [[spoiler: is inferred to have planned things out, manipulating Ceres to make sure the party was in Daein just so he can be there and assess their strengths.]]
%%* {{GMPC}}: Alexander, Alain. The former is justified by the fact that no one else had entered as a healer.[[spoiler: The latter is possibly an example of VillainShoes]]
* HeavySleeper: Left to his own devices, Spartan will sleep past noon. It takes HamToHamCombat to wake him up.
%%* LadyOfWar: Selene is one.
* [[spoiler:LaResistance: Part of Spartan's backstory involves rebelling against the nobles' FantasticRacism. He's recently been brought back to where this occurred, and has admitted to being part of the rebellion, if you read his dialog correctly.]]
%%* LargeHam: Sarath and Harold are the biggest ones of the group.
* MsFanservice: Meet Ceres' rather wholesome daughter, Lady Carmine. She has a lot of influence over her husband...gee, I wonder why.
* ObviouslyEvil: Mad Lord Aerion, SocialDarwinist AxCrazy BloodKnight with some manipulative abilities. He wears armor with SpikesOfVillainy, uses a sword as large as he is, has silver hair, a single black wing, and has been involved in making some hideously nasty ChildSoldiers. It is an odd case since he is not as evil as he looks, he is far, far worse.
* RageQuit: After no one in the party supported Sarath in front of the Queen, Sarath began to reconsider why he was still with the group after they had lost so many of it's members.
* SacrificialLion: Samson the Lion in Felix's backstory.
%%* {{Sarashi}}: Felix wears one.
%%* SocialDarwinist: Mad Lord Aerion and, disturbingly enough, his ChildSoldiers and regulars mostly share in his beliefs.
%%* SuperMode: Felix treats his animal form as one.
%%* UberMensch: What Sarath believes he is/aspires to be.
%%* [[WhiteMagicianGirl White Magician Guy]]: Alexander.
