!!The Thing and I
Bart and Lisa start noticing strange sounds in the attic, and that Homer's been feeding fish heads to something up there. Homer and Marge aren't very subtle with their denial that anything's up there, so one night, while they're out of the house, the kids go up into the attic to investigate. They see a hulking, growling figure break free of the chains holding it to the wall and escape. The kids admit to their parents they went into the attic, which leads to the parents realizing "it" has escaped.
After Marge calls Dr. Hibbert to tell him that "Hugo" is loose, Bart confronts her, asking who or what "Hugo" is. Marge admits that Bart has a twin brother named Hugo, and Dr. Hibbert arrives to clarify: The boys were born as conjoined twins, but one was obviously evil. After the two were separated, Marge decided to keep Bart, the "good" twin, but that left the question of what to do with Hugo.
-->'''Dr. Hibbert:''' So we did the only humane thing.
-->'''Homer:''' We chained Hugo up in the attic like an animal and fed him a bucket of fish heads once a week.
-->'''Marge:''' It saved our marriage!
Everyone save for Bart runs off to look for Hugo. Bart, paranoid, locks everything in the house, but then comes to a terrifying realization: Hugo is right behind him.
Hugo takes Bart up to the attic, ties him down, and prepares to perform surgery to fuse the two of them back together, saying that he went crazy after they were torn apart. Just before Hugo can start sewing, Dr. Hibbert opens the attic door and knocks Hugo out.
As the rest of the family frees Bart, Dr. Hibbert talks about how the left twin is always the evil one...and then he notices Hugo's scar from the original surgery is on the wrong side, meaning ''Bart'' is the evil twin. Dr. Hibbert decides there's just one way to make up for this bit of carelessness: Lock Bart up in the attic instead.
!!The Genesis Tub
Lisa's just lost a baby tooth, which is perfect for her science fair project determining if cola can dissolve teeth. After placing the tooth in a plastic tub of cola, Bart shocks Lisa with static electricity. Lisa then accidentally zaps her tooth with said electricity, which causes it to change overnight...
The next morning, Lisa notices what appears to be mold around her tooth. Fascinated, she looks under a microscope, only to discover the mold is actually a tiny civilization! Even more fascinating, it's evolving at an amazingly fast pace.
The next day, the civilization has reached futuristic levels of technology. Bart, seeing the tiny city, starts crushing things with his finger, causing chaos and destruction for the tiny people. That night, a tiny fleet of spaceships flies out of the tub and attacks Bart. Furious, Bart confronts Lisa and warns her that he's going to flush the city someday. After he leaves, a strange beam floats out of the tub, shrinks Lisa and pulls her down towards the tiny city. The citizens of the tiny world greet Lisa, proclaiming her to be their god. They explain that they need her help to defeat the "Devil", a.k.a. Bart, and start airing out other grievances. Lisa explains she can help them if they can return her to her normal size, but they don't have the ability to do so. Suddenly, Bart reappears, and steals the tub, entering it in the science fair himself. Bart wins first prize and Lisa resigns herself to living the rest of her life in the tub, with the silver lining of being worshiped as a god.
While out fishing, Homer is abducted by the aliens Kang and Kodos, who demand to be taken to his leader. Homer explains that they must mean President BillClinton, but with the election coming up next week, it's possible he may be replaced by Bob Dole. Kang and Kodos abduct both candidates and take on their respective appearances. The aliens then dump Homer back where they found him and proceed with their plans.
Homer decides to stop Kang and Kodos, who, despite exhibiting...odd behaviors, have everyone convinced they're the real candidates. Homer tries exposing them as fakes, but no one believes him. Homer discovers the aliens' not-so-hidden spacecraft, with the real Clinton and Dole still inside. Homer frees the two and pilots the ship back to Washington, D.C. Clinton and Dole decide that partisan politics are tearing the country apart, and agree to work together to lead the country. And then Homer accidentally ejects them into space. Whoops.
Kang and Kodos are holding a debate at the steps of the Capitol when Homer accidentally crashes the ship into the building. Homer then rips the aliens' disguises off, to the crowd's shock. However, with no other choice than to vote for one or the other (anybody voting for a third party candidate would just be throwing their vote away, the aliens smugly gloat), America elects Kang as President, with the entire country enslaved under his rule.
* AnalProbing: Homer assumes Kang and Kodos want to do this, and starts to take his pants off before they make it clear they ''really'' don't.
* [[spoiler: TheBadGuyWins: "Citizen Kang"]]
* BerthaInTheAttic: "The Thing And I"
* TheCassandra: Kang and Kodos covered Homer with booze to make sure nobody would believe him.
* ComicallyMissingThePoint: [[spoiler:Homer believed "Citizen Kang" would have a different ending had Kodos won]].
* DownerEnding; Pretty much all three stories. [[spoiler:Bart is thrown into the attic after discovering he's the evil twin, Lisa is stuck in the micro-city with no way of being changed back to her normal size (what's more Bart steals her project for his own and ''wins'' the science fair). And the U.S is enslaved by Krang and Kodos.]]
* EvilTwin: "The Thing and I" [[spoiler:Subverted; ''Bart's'' the evil twin.]]
-->[[spoiler:'''Bart:''' Oh, don't look so shocked.]]
* GenderReveal: Kodos is apparently ''female''.
-->'''Homer:''' (to Kang and Kodos) Please don't eat me! I have a wife and kids! [[SubvertedTrope Eat them]]!
* InOneEarOutTheOther: While the miniature spaceships from the "The Genesis Tub" are attacking Bart one of them flies into his left ear and exits his right.
* StupidestThingIveEverHeard: The Frink look-alike laughs at Lisa's idea of unshrinking her.
