In this episode written by Tim Long, Marge becomes the Ms. Fanservice of Springfield after sexy pictures of her end up on a charity calendar. Meanwhile, Homer becomes Carl's personal assistant.

!! Tropes:

* AlliterativeName: C. Carl Carlson.
* BaitAndSwitch: Homer goes to Carl to discuss how he took the name of an employee named Smitty and change it… to Spitty.
** When Homer gets his old job back and surprises Marge by coming home, he sees her and Flanders hugging on the front porch. Homer clenches his fist and angrily asks himself "Is Marge having an affair with my worst friend?" before shrugging "Nah" and politely greets Ned as he takes Marge inside.
** When Marge rolls up to church and realizes everyone's talking about her calendar, she's very nervous, but the congregation has nothing but positive things to say.
* BlatantLies: The stink bomb party Bart's attending next to Janey's has nothing to do with the tea party at Janey's.
* CharityWorkplaceCalendar: Some of the Springfield wives pose for a history themed "sexy" calendar. The end results is Marge being the one on all pages of the calendar thanks to the red wine the photographer gave her to help her loosen up to show more skin.
* ContrivedCoincidence: Homer becoming friends with President Nicolas Sarkozy just as Carl starts an affair with Sarkozy's wife. Carl [[OhCrap is instantly very nervous]] when Homer [[MyGodYouAreSerious provides proof of that]] and uses it to threaten Carl into letting him have free time with Marge.
* DirtyKid: Nelson and Milhouse have some pretty age-inappropriate commentary on Marge's calendar shoot. [[ExtremelyProtectiveChild Bart is not happy]].
* DudeNotFunny: Homer used to mock a colleague by nicknaming him "spitty" until Carl told him of the condition Spitty [[note]]I mean, Smitty[[/note]] has
* LiterallyLovingThyNeighbor: With Homer gone a lot more often, Marge contemplates an affair with Flanders. Flanders appears tempted himself, but they were never really going to go through with it.
* TheLoinsSleepTonight: After the surprise positive reaction to her photoshoot Marge was in a very frisky mood, but Homer's new job left him too physically and mentally exhausted for anything. An ImagineSpot representation of her excitement was a large cruise liner ship named SS Libido being powered by numerous muscular men shoveling coal. Homer's ImagineSpot was an old man unable to get his tiny fishing boat started, and [[CementShoes committed suicide by dropping the motor into the water with him tied to it]].
* MeanBoss: Carl becomes this, although while not a bullying jerk he still takes too much advantage of being Homer's boss to make requests around the clock with [[ControlFreak overtly persnickety details]] to the point of Homer just not having any free time.
* MysteriousMiddleInitial: C. Carl Carlson
* NonSequiturThud: After being bonked by Marge with a cricket mallet, Ned utters his famous "diddly" while dazed before passing out.
* OffingTheOffspring: Ned Flanders would rather put stones in his sons' pockets and throw them at sea than let them live with homosexuals.
* StacysMom: Marge gets a lot of attention for her scandalous photoshoot, which she ends up being okay with. But Bart has to deal with everyone, including Skinner and Chalmers, having a copy of the calendar.
* TakeOurWordForIt: We don't see the August page of the calendar but both Marge and Maggie find it very shocking (the latter even dropping the pacifier from her mouth.)
* TyrantTakesTheHelm: Parodied. When Burns gives Carl a promotion Homer says that Carl will be just the same only for Carl to say over the PA that "he has become awful in ways the other employees can't possibly imagine". He then uses his new position to request Homer to do things in an overtly persnickety fashion at all hours of the day, killing any free time Homer may have.
* WhenIWasYourAge: [[ParodiedTrope Parodied]] when Carl says "You know, Homer, when I was your age, it was the future, because I'm younger than you. Just, uh, something to think about."
