!! This episode provides examples of

* AesopAmnesia: Seems Mikey has [[Recap/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles2003S6E15GraduationDayClassOf2105 gone back to his lazy ways]].
* AwesomeButImpractical: In the process of converting the Hover Shell into a lean, powerful racing machine, he added a hot tub, recliners, and a holovid system.
* TheBigRace: The Centri-Fuze goes throughout the entire tri-state area.
* ButtonMashing: Mikey tries this to shake loose the bot controlling the racer, rather than get up and help Leo. [[DumbassHasAPoint It works]].
* CallBack: A young boy named Falcon appears in this episode, bringing to Raph's mind another racing aficionado named Falcon he met back in the Season 3 episode "[[Recap/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles2003S3E20AcrossTheUniverse Across the Universe]]." Since it was never established where in the timeline Raph had been sent in that episode, it's [[AmbiguousSituation unclear]] if this Falcon is the [[ForgottenFirstMeeting same Falcon as a child]], [[IdenticalGrandson his ancestor, his descendant]], [[AlternateSelf an alternate universe counterpart]], or [[InexplicablyIdenticalIndividuals just a complete coincidence]].
* ChekhovsGun: Raph's motorcycle comes in ''very'' handy.
* CloudCuckooLander: Triple Threat's yellow-hued head.
* FailedASpotCheck: No one appears to notice Triple Threat's giant tank entering the race right at the starting line.
* FormerlyFit: Leo points out that Mikey's gotten pretty out of shape with all the push-button conveniences of the future. Later, when his attack is easily caught out by Triple Threat, Mikey admits Leo may have had a point. Unlike most examples of this trope, Mikey hasn’t grown fat.
* HairTriggerAvalanche: Triple Threat starts one with their laser blasts.
* IKnowMortalKombat: Mikey attributes his racing skills to his video games.
--> '''Mikey''': All those hours of playing Super Virtual Smash-Up Derby are finally paying off!
* JerkassHasAPoint: Constable Biggles has Falcon dragged away from the Hover Shell for not being of authorized personnel. When Donny asks him to go easy on the curious kid, Biggles responds that he cannot be lax with security because the expensive vehicles taking part in the race will attract criminals. Falcon himself is harmless, but right when Biggles states you can never know what crooks are lurking about, the scene cuts to Triple Threat who's indeed planning on stealing the vehicles.
* {{Joisey}}: The Centri-Fuze includes a run through the Jersey fire pits.
* LazyBum: Seems Mikey has been spending more time sitting around watching cartoons, surrounded by empty cans and chip bags.
* MultipleHeadCase: Triple Threat, as usual.
* ShoutOut: The race and its assorted vehicles seems to be a nod to ''WesternAnimation/WackyRaces''.
* StupidCrooks: Triple Threat's plan is to steal the experimental race cars to sell... on live television, watched by millions of people. And when they lose control of the cars, they try to win the race... crossing the finish line to find the cops there waiting for them. Constable Biggles even [[LampshadeHanging calls them on it]].
--> '''Biggles''': 'Ello, 'ello, 'ello. You must be the single dumbest perpetrator... [[MultipleHeadCase perpetrators]]... I have ever had the pleasure to arrest!
* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: Cody is understandably overwhelmed since he has gone from a life of privilege to the new CEO of his massive company.
* VehicularSabotage: Triple Threat sends a bot to pull some cables in the Hover Shell's thruster just before the race.
