!! This episode provides examples of

* ActionGirl: Jhanna. Moriah isn't that shabby neither.
* TheBlindLeadingTheBlind: When Casey asks Splinter for advice about April, Splinter, a lifelong CelibateHero who has never been in a romantic relationship, comments that it isn't exactly his area of expertise, but tries to help anyway.
* BreakfastInBed: Casey goes to Splinter for relationship advice concerning April. Splinter recommends breakfast in bed and flowers. When Casey surprises April with breakfast in bed and flowers, everything goes well.
* BrickJoke: When Casey asks Splinter for advice about April, Splinter suggests BreakfastInBed with flowers, but continues repeating "''many'' flowers." When Casey does serve April breakfast in bed - with a normal amount of flowers - and it goes well, Splinter, meditating again, comments to himself that "the flowers were a good idea."
* CatFight: Mikey called Jhanna and Moriah's fight this in the narration.
* DirtyCoward: Jhanna believes Moriah is one.
* DumbassHasAPoint: When Splinter advises Casey to "be himself" when talking to April, Casey points out that they're talking about ''him''. Splinter apparently sees some truth in this, as he revises his advice to breakfast in bed with "many flowers."
* EvilRedhead: Moriah.
* HollywoodHealing: Averted. The Turtles are still bandaged from their fight with the Shredder, and Master Splinter is still charred and his fur is still growing back.
* IHaveThisFriend: This is how Casey asks Splinter for advice on how to take his relationship with April to the next level.
* INeedToGoIronMyDog: When Casey subtly asks Splinter to give him and April some space, Splinter hastily agrees that it’s time for him to go have his night meditation.
* IUhYouToo: After stumbling through his motorcycle analogy, Casey is more explicit in his next attempt, but tells April in all but exact words that he loves her and is ready to have a more serious relationship with her. She gets what he’s saying this time and tells him she reciprocates.
* LethalChef: Casey’s breakfast for April is burnt and barely edible, but April appreciates it, even if it tastes awful.
* RockMonster: One of Moriah's henchmen.
* SamusIsAGirl: Once the Turtles break through Jhanna's mech suit they realize she's a woman.
* ShipTease: Between Donnie and Jhanna. Donnie is the most concerned for her well-being and even sleeps next to her to keep watch. In the morning when she has left, he’s clearly shaken and mournfully takes her hair she left for him. For her end, Jhanna only takes the time to say goodbye to Donnie while he’s asleep and leaves him most of her hair in a ceremonial fashion.
* ShoutOut:
** Mikey tries greeting the alien mech with "[[Film/TheDayTheEarthStoodStill1951 Klaatu Barada Nikto]].
** Raph yells [[Film/{{Tremors}} "Yee-freaking-ha!"]] when riding the giant black worm.
** Moriah's henchmen are reminiscent of the [[Characters/ClassicalMythologyTitans Titans]] and the beasts [[Characters/ClassicalMythologyMortalsAndDemigods Hercules]] fought. In particular, the black worm resembles the mythical [[Characters/ClassicalMythologyMonsters Hydra]].
* ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill: Leo continues slashing at the downed and clearly-dead mecha-suit until Raph and Mike forcibly restrain him.
* ThirdWheel: Splinter is enjoying sitting on the porch with Casey and April at night, until Casey subtly asks him to give them some space. Splinter realizes what he's asking and sheepishly retreats to have his so-called night meditation.
* YawnAndReach: Casey, to April
