!! This episode provides examples of

* AGodAmI: Ultimate Drako boasts that he is a god while holding the Time Scepter and War Staff.
* BigNo: Leo when he not only fails in his second attempt to phase one of his brothers into the Nexus Universe, but the timing of the attempt during Raph's dangerous motorcycle race results in him driving over a cliff just as Leo's connection blinks out. (Raph is fine, but Leo doesn't know that and probably thinks he's literally killed him.)
* CallBack: Lord Simultaneous previously stated that the Time Scepter has a mind of its own. When he shows up he explains that sensing good and evil intent touching it, chose to obey good.
* EvenEvilCanBeLoved: Despite everything the Ultimate Ninja has done, his father still loves him.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: The Ultimate Ninja showed true remorse and concern for his father, suggesting banishing him rather than killing him. As the Ultimate Ninja later becomes TakenForGranite, he genuinely asks his father for forgiveness.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: Subverted. The Gyoshi's UnexplainedRecovery seems to be a sign that something isn't right and foreshadowing of Ultimate Drako's machinations. However, the Gyoshi later reappears next season with no explanation to how he has returned and without Ultimate Drako's involvement.
* TheGlomp: Don gleefully does this to Mikey and Raph when they reunite. Justified, considering [[BadFuture what he just went through]].
* HeroicBSOD: The Daimyo has fallen into a depression since losing his son and is barely aware of what's going on.
* IveComeTooFar: Downplayed. Drako complains when the Ultimate Ninja falters upon seeing how weak his father has become and suggests exiling him instead of killing him like they originally agreed. He doesn't feel any remorse for his own actions and just complains that after coming this far, he's not willing to let the Daimyo live.
* KilledOffForReal: Drako is not restored to life like Ue-Sama is and remains dead.
* LoveRedeems: The Ultimate Ninja cannot bring himself to kill his own father, which results in RedemptionEarnsLife.
* MuggedForDisguise: Usagi and Leo mug a pair of guards for their robes, yet fail to take their helmets or masks. [[PaperThinDisguise They still fool the other guards...]]
* NoodleIncident: Apparently Lord Simultaneous has had to deal with similar issues with other megalomaniacs like Drako and the The Ultimate Ninja.
* PetTheDog: Lord Simultaneous sees how devastated the Daimyo is by seeing his son die and brings him back to life.
* RaiseHimRightThisTime: Ultimately occurs to The Ultimate Ninja.
* RedemptionEarnsLife: The Ultimate Ninja and Drako are killed by the Time Scepter and War Staff. As the Ultimate Ninja showed that he does love his father, he is brought back to life as a boy by Lord Simultaneous.
* TakenForGranite: Drako and The Ultimate Ninja.
* ThePowerOfLove: Using the War Staff, Splinter is able to pull the other Turtles to the battle.
-->"Come to me, my sons!"
* ThrowTheDogABone: Seeing how devastated the Daimyo is, Lord Simultaneous restores the Ultimate Ninja to life as a young child.
* ToxicFriendInfluence: Downplayed and PlayedForLaughs. While sneaking around, Usagi quips that hanging around with Leo is making him more ninja than samurai.
* UnexplainedRecovery: The Gyoshi is somehow back at the Daimyo's side despite having fallen into the same void that the Ultimate Ninja and Drako fell into with no indication he survived... until it's revealed that Ultimate Drako is posing as him.
* VoiceOfTheLegion: The Ultimate Drako.
* WeirdnessSearchAndRescue: Lord Simultaneous returns to set matters right and deal with Ultimate Drako.
* YankTheDogsChain: The Daimyo comes to just after the Ultimate Ninja crumbles to dust.
-->"My son? Did I hear my son?"
