Karai is captured by Agent Bishop when she is ordered into obtaining alien technology. He offers an exchange with the Shredder: alien technologies for Karai. Instead of agreeing with the exchange, Shredder sends Hun to rescue her. At the same time, the Turtles are lead into the battle when Stockman tricks them into coming by using Hun's voice.

!!This episode provides examples of

* BarehandedBladeBlock: Leo has to do this to one of his own swords while fighting Bishop.
* BatmanGambit: Stockman tricks the Turtles to go after Hun so that both Hun and Karai will die. Ironically, the Turtles actually save Hun and Karai.
* BerserkButton: Raphael doesn't take well to Hun stealing his motorcycle, as well as it getting destroyed.
* BigNo: Stockman, just as he's about to be punished by the Shredder off-screen for the unauthorized communication using Hun's voice.
* ButHeSoundsHandsome: Baxter Stockman can't help but refer to himself as "the brilliant Dr. Baxter Stockman" while pretending to be Hun in his fake message for the Turtles.
* ADayInTheLimelight: The episode's driving plot is that this is Hun's last chance to save his not only his standing with the Shredder, but his ''life'' lest he finally suffer a YouHaveFailedMe from his boss.
* DidntSeeThatComing: After suspecting that Hun isn't after them at all, the Turtles get covert and follow him down to the subway.
-->'''Leo:''' Karai?\\
'''Mikey:''' Bishop?
* EnemyMine/ TeethClenchedTeamwork: Hun must save Karai from Bishop, even though he despises her. In addition, the Turtles must help Hun to rescue Karai.
* EvilVsEvil: Hun vs. Bishop.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: At the end the Turtles get possession of Bishop's technologically advanced subway train car, which eventually gets put to good use in "Bishop's Gambit".
* HeadTurningBeauty: Bishop seems to take a liking to Karai even hitting on her sometimes.
* HonorBeforeReason: Raph would prefer to just let Hun and Bishop take each other out, but Leo says they must intervene to help Karai.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: Agent Bishop uses his ''tie'' to fight Hun and the Turtles. He is basically of the "beat you down with anything handy" school of fighting.
* LetsGetDangerous: Bishop initially only toyed with Hun, and it got him a good throttling.
-->"All right, meathead, you wanna play?! [[PreAsskickingOneLiner Now, we play for real!]]"
* {{Narrator}}: Hun's first time.
* OneManArmy: Bishop, again. He takes on all four Turtles, Hun ''and'' Karai and more than holds his own. After nearly getting skewered, however, he leaves rather than push his luck further.
* PapaWolf: One of the instances where Saki/Ch'rell shows that he cares about Karai than he lets on, he went so far as to let Hun earn redemption in exchange for saving her. Although, Saki makes it VERY clear to Hun what will happen to him if he fails to save Karai or let her die.
--> '''Ch'rell:''' Remember, your life depends on '''[=HER LIFE=]'''.
** Then there's the ending where Saki punishes Stockman ''again'' for trying to sabotage the rescue mission.
* PetTheDog: Saki acknowledges that despite Hun's recent failures, his loyalty has been without question, and that is why he is giving him one last chance to redeem himself - and save his own life in the process. When Hun does succeed, Saki praises him for doing so and welcomes him back to his good graces.
* SpannerInTheWorks: Stockman would've gotten away with his trick, if not for Dr. Chaplin having set up a communication security system that intercepted his message to the Turtles. Ironically, the Turtles were ''meant'' to be the Spanner to Hun's works since Stockman used them to try to ruin his rescue mission to kill Hun and Karai in one fell swoop.
* TheGlassesComeOff: Bishop when he briefly tosses them at Hun while he's pinned down.
* TheScream: Raph, when his Shell Cycle is destroyed.
* UndyingLoyalty: Hun. This is why the Shredder selects him for this mission.
* VillainDecay: Discussed in Hun's narration. He notes that too many things have gone wrong on his watch lately and left him in a weakened position in the Shredder's eyes.
* VillainEpisode: This is about Hun.
* VillainExitStageLeft: Bishop escapes by detaching the train from the cars behind it.
* WrongGenreSavvy: While Bishop tells Saki how much he knows about his criminal empire and ulterior motives regarding cleaning up after the Triceraton invasion, he's completely unaware that the Oroku Saki persona is a cover for something much, much bigger than he knows. [[note]]Saki really being an Utrom warmonger, for one[[/note]]
-->'''Saki''': Believe me, Mister Bishop, you know ''nothing'' about me.
* YouHaveFailedMe: Saki makes it ''very'' plain to Hun that if he fails to save Karai, this is what he will do to him.
* YouOweMe: Raphael say this to Hun about his motorcycle.
-->'''Raphael''': You owe me a new bike, fatso!
