The Last Meal is Cup Ramen 最後の差し入れはカップラーメン (Saigo no Sashiire wa Cup Ramen) with the English title of Everybody Loves Ramen. The original aired on April 23, 1979. This is also the first of the non-English dubbed Lupin episodes in the Red Jacket series.

Eight years ago, Lupin and his former partner Silver performed a fantastic train robbery, but Silver betrayed Lupin and took all of the loot for himself. Before Lupin could catch up to him and find out where he hid the money, Silver committed a bank robbery, and got himself arrested, putting him safely out of Lupin's reach. Today, he gets released from prison, and naturally his old partner is there waiting for him to try and get the secret of his hiding place out of him. Alas for Lupin, his nemesis Inspector Zenigata appears and the detective's interference allows Silver to get away.

Silver goes through the city, followed by Lupin and Jigen, in hopes he will lead them to the money. All he does is steal and drink, forcing Jigen to cover the old man's tabs in order to keep him from being arrested so the two can continue their pursuit. Silver is quickly aware of this, and after taking advantage at a strip club, he finally agrees to sit down and talk with Lupin about his old partner's help in recovering the treasure. He instead uses the meeting to gas Lupin and Jigen to keep them from following him and his new partner... Fujiko.

Fujiko and Silver drive out into the wilderness, unknowingly followed. Goemon, watching the whole thing go down from afar, managed to plant a tracker on Fujiko's car, and he and the others, who faked being knocked out by Silver's gas, quickly catch up to the tricksters. To their horror, the whole group finds out that Silver's hiding spot, which was in the wilderness eight years ago, is now encircled by a brand new state-of-the-art prison.

Never without a plan, Lupin turns himself into the police and immediately placed in a special tower in the prison. His list of crimes is so long that the warden of the prison and the president agreed that Lupin should be sentenced to death and executed in a week, much to the horror of Zenigata. Lupin seems resigned to his fate and his only request, the morning of his last day on earth, is cup ramen. The warden sadly explains that there is no cup ramen in their country, but Lupin says a new shop opened up that stocks it; said shop happens to be a delivery truck run by Fujiko and Silver.

Zenigata inspects Lupin's request but finds nothing wrong with it, other than it needs more pepper. It is sent to Lupin, who seemingly enjoys it before the noontime deadline rolls around. At noon, Lupin's sentence is carried out, Zenigata forcing himself to be the one to flip the switch that will microwave Lupin to death. However, it is quickly revealed the Lupin in the execution chamber is really a balloon; the real Lupin hid in the toilet and uses his "ramen", actually rope in disguise, and some assistance from Jigen to escape the tower.

While the guards run around the prison searching for the thief, Zenigata, not-so-secretly pleased at Lupin's escape, wanders the grounds, wondering what his longtime rival was after. The answer comes when the tree in the courtyard nearly falls on him, and Lupin, via hang glider and trailing a rope with the bags of money, springs out and is towed away by Fujiko and Silver. However, Silver's greed overcomes him and he demands that Lupin give him the money right then and there. Jigen shoots the rope holding Lupin's glider to the car, and the wind starts blowing everything back towards the prison. Lupin slips out, but Silver, focused on his money, hijacks the jeep from Fujiko and proceeds to ride it right back into prison to get it as a bemused Lupin and company watch... a punishment befitting such a greedy traitor.
