'''Season 4, Episode 3''':
!What Was Lost, Part 2: Resurrection

As the crew attempt to escape Grayza and the Peacekeepers before the planet's magnetics kill everyone on the surface, they realise that solving the mystery of the Eidolons is their best bet for survival.

----
!Tropes present in this episode include:
* BatmanGambit: The plan to escape the Peacekeepers was to fly off in D'Argo's ship. Once they pursued, D'Argo would cloak and fire a satellite probe as a distraction. So, while the Peacekeepers unknowingly chase a probe, the crew flies back to the planet to regroup.
* BottomlessMagazines: Crichton runs out of ammunition in the middle of a firefight and immediately realises that he's picked up a pulse pistol that isn't [[ICallItVera Winona]].
-->'''Crichton:''' You are the most powerful hand gun in the Uncharted Territories and I don't know whether you've fired 500 shots or 600 but - ''(checks the cartridge)'' - 600. Empty. Damn you! Winona would never do this because Winona is very reliable!
* BuriedAlive: Happens to Scorpius, despite Sikozu's attempt to prevent it.
* ChainedToABed: After finding a way to negate the Heppel oil, Crichton tricks Grayza into agreeing to be tied to the bed. Once she's tied up he puts his clothes back on and leaves her screaming for him to come back.
* ChekhovsGun: The snail-like creatures which produce a sense-deadening drug, first mentioned last episode, are used by Crichton to block Grayza's pheromones so he can turn the tables on her.
* CruelAndUnusualDeath: With the magnetics spiking, Jool describes the horrible fate in store for them as their flesh being melted off.
* DoubleStandardRapeFemaleOnMale: Grayza doesn't seem to think there's anything wrong with using her pheromone trick to mind control Crichton into having sex with her as an interrogation method. Crichton, however, clearly suffers emotional damage and calls her out on it in a later episode.
* DueToTheDead: After both Elack and her Pilot die crashing into the Marauders, Rygel lowers his head sadly.
* FaceDeathWithDignity: As Elack swings back towards the Marauders.
-->'''Elack's Pilot:''' Elack, if we don't find the strength, it's all been for nothing. We must try. Target the Marauders. Elack... now... ''[passes out]''
* GodzillaThreshold: While talking to Rygel about the plan, it's clear that D'Argo doesn't actually trust Sikozu any more than the others do; he just doesn't have any better options.
* HeelFaceRevolvingDoor: Sikozu seems to be riding this (as she has somewhat since her first appearance), but it turns out to all have been part of her and D'Argo's plan to get inside the ruins and free everyone.
* HeroicSacrifice: Elack and her Pilot crash into the Peacekeepers' Marauders so the crew can escape.
* HumiliationConga: Crichton is able to turn the tables on Grayza thanks to the sense-deadening drug, so that after he seems to still be indulging her in kinky sex-play, he instead ends up leaving her trapped and in bondage. By the time she gets her men to free her, Moya's crew has escaped, led them on a wild goose chase with a probe, and restored Arnesk. Grayza ends the episode not only swearing revenge, but that if anyone among the Peacekeeper crew gossips about her humiliation, Braca will be severely punished for it.
* IChooseToStay: After the temple is returned to the present, Jool decides to remain on Arnesk so as to help the priests catch up on all they've missed, as well as continue the research into what links Interions, Sebaceans, and humans. Since the Peacekeepers aren't after her, she's also the only one among Moya's crew who could do so.
* InnocuouslyImportantEpisode: The end of the episode sets up a very important plot-point in [[Recap/FarscapeS05E01ThePeacekeeperWarsPart1 the conclusion of]] [[Recap/FarscapeS05E02ThePeacekeeperWarsPart2 the series]].
* LampshadeHanging: With Grayza accusing him of jumping off the cliff in an attempt to escape, Crichton says he genuinely thought someone was throwing him off. What he says next acknowledges how unusual that sounds to anyone not familiar with his everyday life.
-->'''Crichton:''' I live in a strange universe. Things like that are fairly normal.
* TheManBehindTheMan: Subverted. Crichton scoffs at Grayza, fully believing that Scorpius is calling all the shots and just playing dumb. Grayza has Scorpius shot dead, much to Crichton's surprise. It turns out that Scorpy is NotQuiteDead and not as damaged as believed, though Grayza pointedly doesn't know any of that.
* NotQuiteDead: Scorpius appears to get shot right through the chest, but he's still alive when Sikozu is told to inspect the body. That, of course, makes getting buried rather problematic for him.
* OhCrap: Crichton when he turns around and sees a whole commando unit with weapons drawn.
* PutOnABus: Jool stays behind on Arnesk.
* RaceAgainstTheClock: D'Argo's ship was damaged during the escape from the Peacekeepers, leaving the crew stuck on the planet. The magnetics are already spiking, and Jool estimates an arn until they're all dead. Since it's unlikely D'Argo can make the repairs in time, the crew get moving to find all three probes and reactivate them to restore the planet.
* TheReveal:
** The Old Woman officially reveals her name: Uta-Noranti-Pralatong.
** Oo-Nii, who had previously seemed to be an ally of Vella's (defending her from Noranti and trying to drown Crichton for supposedly killing and robbing her), turns out instead to be her killer as part of a double-cross (they were both after the bounty on Moya's crew, as well as seeking the probes for their own gain).
** The probes not only reversed the magnetic field of the planet so as to create the inhospitable terrain and high-radiation summers, they also created a bubble of the past, trapping the temple and its priests (thus explaining why there were no bones). Reversing the probes' effect restores them to the present again.
* RewardedAsATraitorDeserves: After Scorpius is seemingly killed, Grayza has Sikozu knocked into the grave and ordered shot. It takes a bit of SpySpeak to save her from this fate. It also turns out she never really betrayed the crew in the first place.
* RunningGag: A weapon Crichton uses keeps running out of ammo/stops working.
* ShoutOut: Crichton's pulse pistol stops working in the middle of a firefight, causing him to misquote ''Film/DirtyHarry''.
-->'''Crichton:''' You are the most powerful handgun in the Uncharted Territories and I don't know whether you've fired 500 shots or 600 but--''(checks the cartridge)'' [[OhCrap 600. Empty.]]
* SpySpeak: Scorpius passes on a Directorate password to Sikozu so that she can save his life. It doesn't work out as planned, but it does at least spare her life, and enable her to get past the guards later to free Chiana, Jool, and Noranti.
* StartXToStopX: After Noranti doing everything she could last episode to make sure the probes didn't fall into either Vella or the Peacekeepers' hands, it turns out that using them is required to undo the planet's magnetic storms if they are all to survive.
* WeWouldHaveToldYouBut: D'Argo and Sikozu have a plan for the crew to escape the Peacekeepers, but Grayza's ability to bend Crichton to her will means they're going to keep him in the dark. Crichton is most displeased to hear this, but he has to admit they have a point. Sikozu going to the Peacekeepers was actually part of the plan, ensuring the reactions from the rest of the crew (who already didn't trust her) were genuine.
* WorldHealingWave: Undoing the effect of the probes restores all the life and greenery of the planet.
