Daria and Quinn attend a summer camp reunion while Trent becomes enamored with the supposedly simple wisdom of an elderly farm couple, much to Jane's horror.
----
!!Tropes:
----
* BrokenPedestal: Amelia, Daria's only known follower at camp; after being told by Daria to leave her alone, she deduces that Daria doesn't like anyone.
** The old couple of hillbillies that Trent and Jane meet at the small drugstore. Trent at first thinks that they have the solution for his burnout, but gets disappointed when their homemade snacks are both bland and overhyped. At least the experience inspires him to write a new song.
* CallForward: A {{Flashback}} shows a younger Daria clutching a copy of ''Literature/AnimalFarm''. In ''WesternAnimation/DariaIsItFallYet'', Daria tells Link that her [[IHaveThisFriend friend]] liked reading Orwell when she was twelve.
* FanOfUnderdog: Amelia has a lot of embellished memories of Daria as an independent rebel, and wanted to follow her around to be like her. Daria doesn't like this because she sees Amelia as another sheep.
* GrewASpine: After Daria tells Amelia the painful truth that she isn't accomplishing anything by idolizing Daria and trying to think she is more than what she is, Amelia gets disappointed in her, but gets inspired to put Skip in his place once and for all. She still cares if she hurt Daria's feelings as well, but Daria congratulates her for finally being BrutallyHonest.
* HasAType: Quinn in a non-romantic context, as she seems perpetually drawn to the same group of girls and the same unhealthy power dynamic when it's revealed she previously befriended a trio who are essentially beta versions of Sandi, Stacy and Tiffany.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Amelia admires Daria for not caring about what others think and gets upset at Daria when she tells her to stop idolizing her. Then Amelia gives a big speech about stop following the herd, only to ask Daria if she thought the speech was ok.
* {{Irony}}: In the past, Daria was a social outcast who only had Amelia as a follower, while Quinn immediately gets her own clique and admirers. By the end of the reunion, the other campers start having a better opinion of Daria thanks to Amelia's input, and Quinn ends up alone because her friends discovered that she stole Tracy's date.
* JerkAss: Skip, the immature and self-important camp counselor.
* LethalChef: The couple who invite Trent and Jane to try out their food. Jane finds inside her sandwich the plastic wrap of a cheese slice. Then they do "flavorless potato chips" and "homemade bottled water" (which is just water from their sink).
* MirrorCharacter: Quinn's three friends at camp are blatant precursors to the Fashion Club, right down to their (jumbled) names. Tracy and Tatiana are dead ringers for Sandi and Tiffany, but what little we see of Stacy's counterpart Cindy suggests she's a more basic BetaBitch than the neurotic sweetheart we know and love. Even the three guys in the melon flashback resemble Joey, Jeffy and Jamie.
* RebuiltPedestal: Towards the end, Amelia and Daria partially reconcile. Amelia still thinks Daria is a bitter loner, but at least she is true to herself. Daria commends Amelia's speech for being truthful.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: After Amelia humiliates Skip and everyone starts protesting and removing their Grizzly T-shirts, Skip tells Mr. Potts, the head counselor do something, but even Mr. Potts is weary of Skip's self-righteous attitude.
-->'''Mr. Potts''': Skip, you take all this way too seriously. This is a camp. A place parents send their kids to get them out of their hair for a few weeks. Don't make it your whole life.
-->'''Skip''': (whimpering) I wanna go home!
* SomethingWeForgot: Subverted... for once. On the ride back, Jane comments that it feels like they forgot something. But Daria says Quinn got a ride home. It then cuts to her riding back with Skip. Neither seems to be happy about it.
