!!"Courage Meets Bigfoot" provides examples of the following {{tropes}}:
* ArsonMurderAndJaywalking: When Courage is imagining all the horrible things the Bigfoot could do to Muriel, the first two are him stepping on her and preparing to break her in half between its toes. The last one has him punting her through a goal post.
* FoodFight: Courage's attempts to stop Bigfoot from stealing Muriel's pie escalates into one of these, with Bigfoot taking cover behind a table and Courage using bananas as throwing knives. They soon end up having fun and bonding over it.
* HappyDance: Eustace does one once he hears that there will be a reward to the person who brings in Bigfoot. He really wants that life-long membership.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: When the angry mob realizes that Bigfoot is really a little boy who got separated from his mom, they collectively look very ashamed of themselves for trying to capture him for a museum. And the minute Eustace still goes through with his plan to capture Bigfoot and collect the reward, they promptly chase him down.
* PieInTheFace: Courage does this to himself by accident as he's playing tug-o-war with Bigfoot over Muriel's pie. When Bigfoot finally lets the pie go, the momentum sends Courage flying into the wall behind him and the pie splatting into his face. Muriel then enters the room and, assuming Courage was trying to eat the pie, chides him to use a plate next time.
* TorchesAndPitchforks: Eustace summons a mob wielding these when he tries to capture Bigfoot. They end up chasing him away when he puts it in shackles after it reunites with its mother.

!!"Hothead" provides examples of the following tropes:
* AngstNuke: The hair tonic Eustace takes has the unfortunate side effect that when he gets angry, he becomes red with rage and gets the ability to blow up the target of his aggravation with his mind, somehow remaining unscathed himself.
* ArsonMurderAndJaywalking: During the interview between Eustace and the manager of the bald cure company:
-->'''Manager:''' Was your father bald?\\
'''Eustace:''' A little, on the...\\
'''Manager:''' Was your ''mother'' bald?\\
'''Eustace:''' My ma?\\
'''Manager:''' Sister? Brother? Second cousin twice removed?\\
'''Eustace:''' Eh?\\
'''Manager:''' [[LOL69 What's 414 divided by 6?]]
%%* AssholeVictim: To the company who gave Eustace the hair product. (Administrivia/ZeroContextExample)
* MindOverMatter: The hair-formula's side effect. When the user gets too angry/upset, their head somehow [[HulkingOut Hulks Out]], making them able (and [[AxCrazy willing]]) to psychically [[AngstNuke blow stuff up]].
* OhCrap: When Courage reads the warning label not to get angry while using the hair growth formula, he knows how much trouble everyone is in, as Eustace has a very short fuse.
* PottyEmergency: Eustace forces Courage to wear a leash. At one point, Courage needs to pee and has to wait for an opportunity to remove the leash before he can use the restroom.
