[[folder: I, Brobot ]]

* The [[http://phineasandferb.wikia.com/wiki/File:Turning_on_their_creators_1.jpg Phinedroids]] and [[http://phineasandferb.wikia.com/wiki/File:Turning_on_their_creators_2.jpg Ferbots]] are quite terrifying the first time you see them. The Candroid is even more so. There's one particular shot, right after the boys shut down their coffee stand, where they look toward the camera in the ''creepiest'' fashion...

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Toy to the World ]]

* The Ba-dink-a-dinks. They're more amusing than anything, since it's ''obvious'' [[Literature/CharlieAndTheChocolateFactory what they're a parody of]], but they might not be as friendly as they seem.
-->"We will now lay waste to the surface dwellers!"

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Mom's Birthday ]]

* The wax presidents after they melt.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Journey to the Center of Candace ]]

* This is, as a whole, a mildly creepy episode, which is understandable due to it's FantasticVoyagePlot, but the ''real'' kicker is during the song "Hemoglobin Highway", when an ''entire eyeball is seen [[BodyHorror inexplicably floating around in Candace's]]'' '''[[BodyHorror bloodstream]]'''. And it's not just randomly placed in the background, ''[[http://phineasandferb.wikia.com/wiki/File:Hemoglobin_Highway.png it takes up half the freaking screen]].'' To make it worse, said eyeball ''watches the boys as they pass by in their mini sub''.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: One Good Scare Ought to Do It! ]]

* The giant floating baby head is pretty creepy the first few times you see it. Helps that it's {{lampshaded}} by Phineas and Ferb themselves. It gets even scarier when you realize that neither of them has the SLIGHTEST IDEA HOW IT GOT THERE!
* The entire haunted house, but the [[CrowningMusicOfAwesome song Phineas sings]] provides more than enough effect to make it more entertaining than scary.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Hail Doofania! ]]

* Perry has to wear a cone on his head for the entire day. The reason he has to is because it's to prevent him from getting at patches of missing fur on his body. The way he got like that, however, can be kind of scary: he fell into a ''sandpaper factory''. Sure, he got out with only patches of his fur missing and his entire subplot of him trying to get into his lair are pretty hilarious, but the thought of him falling into a sandpaper factory is not.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Out to Launch ]]

* [[http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/xx298/Albertonykus_borealis/Misc/nightmarefuel.jpg?t=1318855370 This]]. Whereas in "The Chronicles of Meap" Ferb's skin slips neatly off his face in a similar situation, Phineas's... doesn't. And that's scary.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Phineas and Ferb Get Busted! ]]

* '''[[ScareEmStraight SMILE AWAY]]'''.
** Phineas and Ferb essentially being waterboarded into submission. The scariest part is when Phineas ''can't even finish his'' '''''catchphrase!'''''
** The [[http://phineasandferb.wikia.com/wiki/File:Reeducation_chairs.jpg MindRape-like reeducation.]] Note that they are watching a video that is telling them, in a CreepyMonotone voice:
---> "Age inappropriate building is unsafe and irresponsible. Good boys don't make anything but their sisters happy. Creative acts are unattainable and dangerous. Using your imagination is ''morally wrong''."
*** The boys later [[spoiler:''repeating'' the above phrases to Candace in an equally-monotone voice]] also ''definitely'' counts. They basically get turned into [[spoiler:imagination-deprived zombies]].

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Hide and Seek ]]

* The dead fly scene. To elaborate, Baljeet has shrunken down to the size of a dust bunny, and is trapped on an overhanging lamp, with the air conditioner blowing directly on him. Due to his minuscule size, the chill could kill him if he doesn't find some sort of heat preservation. So, what does he do? ''He curls up inside the body of a dead fly until the others find him.'' Complete with bug guts and everything. Works excellently as NauseaFuel as well.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Phineas and Ferb's Quantum Boogaloo ]]

* [[FridgeHorror It may take a while to notice]], since it was a very quick line that was part of a much longer ramble, but in the BadFuture created by Candace, children are actually ''childproofed'' (Sealed in child-shaped cases of steel) and stored away until they reach adulthood. [[NothingIsScarier All the details about it are left ambiguous]]...''[[PeopleJars Just]]''. ''[[AndIMustScream Think]]''. ''[[FateWorseThanDeath About]]''. ''[[NightmareFuel It.]]''
* This scene is played in a goofy manner but when you realize ''she just died'' it's kind of dark. Well, not really died as much as "Never existed to begin with" still kind of dark regardless.
-->'''Phineas''': If you're from the bad future, which doesn't exist anymore, doesn't that mean you shouldn't exist anymore either?
-->'''Alternate Adult Candace''': Oh darn. *Is immediately erased from existence*

[[/folder]]

[[folder: The Bully Code ]]

* Some of the bad photos of Candace may fall under this.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Suddenly Suzy ]]

* The [[TheUnSmile happy face]] Candace made to Phineas.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: The Doof Side of the Moon ]]

* In the opening scene, a ''[[TheUnSmile smile]]'' crosses Ferb's face that is kind of...well, [[http://phineasandferb.wikia.com/wiki/File:Ferb_smile.jpg take a look for yourself]]. It's not ''that'' bad, but since Ferb [[TheStoic rarely ever makes any sort of facial expression what so ever]]... yeah...

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Split Personality ]]

* "Busting" Candace asks Phineas where the other her (lovey-dovey Candace) is, and he says she already drove off with Mom. Cue a scary sound and Candace with a [[NightmareFace face]] that will [[FridgeHorror take you a sec to notice it's scary.]]
** You can see it at about seven seconds in [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXCiJ17ceNA this]] video. I'd post just the picture of it, but it's much more unsettling in action.
** Even ''Phineas and Ferb'' are disturbed by it.
*** Note, especially, how even [[TheStoic Ferb]] cringes away.
** Still scary (and even scary for those it's already traumatized), but this scene is a ShoutOut to InvasionOfTheBodySnatchers. [[note]]For those who haven't scene it, the alien copies of once-humans do it when they spot/notice someone who is still a human.[[/note]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Season 3]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Canderemy ]]

* Phineas and Ferb combined by Doofenshmirtz's "Combine-inator" at the end. [[http://phineasandferb.wikia.com/wiki/File:Ferbneas_and_Isabella.jpg Behold]]. Made worse when Phineas smiles and Ferb... smiles more. The garlic ice cream and cockroach Combin-inated test subjects were no slouch either.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Phineas' Birthday Clip-O-Rama! ]]

* The "Inside-Out-Inator".

* "[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BNBLbu68B0#t=10m11s Kikikikiki....Kikikikiki...]]" [[note]]This is a clip that was never in any other episode.[[/note]]

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Ask a Foolish Question ]]

* ''"I know what we're going to do today! Build a... super... computer"''. Except it looks like [[http://phineasandferb.wikia.com/wiki/File:Phineas_and_His_Friends_with_Super_Computer.jpg this]]. Oh, and it is also a DangerouslyGenreSavvy LiteralGenie that is not afraid of pulling {{Gambit Roulette}}s at your expense. It says "I knew this would happen" and then explodes at Doofenshmirtz's building. IT KNEW IT WOULD DIE.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Meatloaf Surprise ]]

* While there is plenty of FridgeHorror regarding Doofenshmirtz's inators, the Rotteninator he uses stands out as straight NightmareFuel. To wit, it had the ability to rot anything shot with it, which he was intending to do to his opponents' meatloaf. He then proceeds to turn it against Perry, and while he misses and spoils various foodstuffs as well as rotting away the biodegradable trap Perry was in, the thought of what it could've done had it hit Perry or an innocent bystander...
** [[NightmareRetardant Knowing the show, Perry would probably be a turquoise pile of goo and still beat Doof]].
*** I just think that if said inator hits a person, they'll be rotten, as in evil. Can count as FridgeBrilliance too.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: A Real Boy ]]

* The ending, where Doofenshmirtz slams the closet door on Norm, leaving him in complete darkness. All we see is Norm's eyes and mouth in the corner of a black screen.
-->'''Norm:''' Apology accepted, Dad...

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Mommy Can You Hear Me? ]]

* The ending was a ShoutOut to [[TwoThousandOneASpaceOdyssey a very famous sci-fi film]], but seeing Ferb as a "fetus" was still pretty terrifying.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Skiddley Whiffers ]]

* Blink and you'll miss it (which kind of makes it creepier) - the end has Linda ''polishing off a human skull''. It's not lampshaded or explained.
** Well, the Flynn-Fletchers own an antique store...
* We find out that Doofenshmirtz has a [[ItMakesSenseInContext fire hydrant]] ''stuck under the skin of his leg''.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: That's the Spirit ]]

* The zombies were far more funny than scary ("I don't care for organs, but I do enjoy a cucumber sandwich."), but if you take out the accompanying dialogue and just look at those things, [[http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111103030635/phineasandferb/images/8/8a/Spirit43.png they are undeniably creepy]].
* Doofenshmirtz's PainfulTransformation into a Were-cow was no picnic either. The background music while it happens does ''not'' help.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: The Curse of Candace ]]

* Candace turning into dust at the end. Phineas's reaction turns this into more of a FunnyMoment though.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Escape from Phineas Tower ]]

* This episode is creepy on ''so'' many levels. That's right, Phineas and Ferb deliberately created an AI smarter than them to trap them repeatedly - a new trap every time they escape one - so that they may ''never'' be able to get out. The mallet they built to smash it from the outside in case of the inevitable emergency? Doesn't work. And ''then'', when they finally get into their backyard (by tunneling through the ground), the thing traps them with a shield and announces its plan to ''cut off their air supply''. The happy ending? [[spoiler:The shield expands to include the entire galaxy.]] Cold comfort. (As a little added bonus horror, Candace, who'd typically come dashing in to bust/save them in an episode of this type, is asleep the whole time.)

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Monster from the Id ]]

* The sheer and absolute MindScrew that is this entire episode. Special mention goes to the titular monster itself.
* The "Going Deep Into Your Mind" sequence.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Gi-Ants ]]

* Played for laughs, but Carl turns the lights off when Monogram finishes briefing Perry and Perry leaves, and when Monogram tells Carl to turn the lights back on, he's answered only by an evil laugh, and Carl says that it wasn't him...

[[/folder]]

[[folder: The Remains of the Platypus ]]

* An in-universe example, bloated Monogram asking for a high five, seeing as it scared everyone from Cheesetopia.
-->'''Phineas:''' Huh. Who would have thought a high-fiving swollen guy would have scared everyone off like that.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: When Worlds Collide ]]

* [[http://images.wikia.com/phineasandferb/images/a/ac/Creepy_Phineas_When_Worlds_Collide.jpg This shot]] of Phineas. Completely unintentional, too...

[[/folder]]

[[folder: This Is Your Backstory ]]

* Doofenshmirtz's evil monster form.
* The stinger has Phineas and Ferb create a quantum vortex that sucks the entire world in. Except Candace. Who - in a scared voice - asks "Mom?"

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Blackout! ]]

* The song, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NdTB_XzSuNc&list=FLL0d6mSZuY9kWx3Gk-RwMqg&index=1&feature=plpp_video "What is this Thing?"]]
* The mysterious kid with the eyepatch also counts.
-->"But is it my ''left'' eye or my ''right'' eye? ''You don't know.''
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Season 4]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Der Kinderlumper ]]

* The Kinderluper. Apparently it kidnaps naughty kids and puts them in his sack, with "naughty" being defined as drinking water, slightly tilting their head or even just blinking. Although according to Roger, it rewards good kids. Indicating once again how abusive Doofenshmirtz's mother is towards him and treats Roger the opposite way.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Mind Share ]]

* Some people find the look of the kids' bodies [[http://images.wikia.com/phineasandferb/images/c/c2/Tumblr_mkexezwC9k1rmra37o1_1280.png after having minds switched]] with the aliens rather disturbing.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Knot my Problem ]]

* [[http://images.wikia.com/phineasandferb/images/5/52/Tumblr_mpc112Yn8i1rmra37o1_1280.png Jeremy still has his baby teeth.]]

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Terrifying Tri-State Trilogy of Terror ]]

* It would probably just be easiest to say "the whole episode", when compared to most of the series, but let's give a few examples anyway.
** The first 'story', following Candace is probably the scariest one. It involves Candace accidentally turning Ducky Momo (as in, [[KillerTeddyBear her doll]]) evil. While that may not sound frightening, we're treated to a [[SarcasmMode lovely]] scene where it gets stuck in a door Candace is obliviously trying to close, and it ends up loosing one of it's eyes, which is still barely holding on by a string, and having a seam ripping open, with stuffing falling out. And then, as the song begins, it simply... draws everything back to it's body. Slowly. It's creepier than it sounds, especially if you listen closely as it happens. Also Ducky Momo spinning it's [[TheExorcist head around]] didn't help things.
** Also a BrickJoke from NerdsOfAFeather appears, (the rare Ducky Momo collectible plate that had a typo making it accidentally say "I hate people") is very cleverly added into the background during the chase song, but the situation when you see it makes it both funny yet ironically disturbing at the same time.
*** The song is also unnerving, and the tune and haunting lyrics are just the tip of the iceberg. Imagine being Candace: [[ParanoiaFuel You're alone, in a dark house and it's storming. Then, you hear a creak. Then later, footsteps. Then you see something out of the corner of your eye or in the corner of a mirror and when you turn around, there's nothing there.]] Throughout the song, Candace starts off calm, and by the end she's calling Stacy in terror.
*** And let's not forget the end. [[spoiler: Ducky Momo isn't evil, he just wanted a hug. Why? Because Candace didn't expose it to moonlight, which was the key factor for it being evil. Then the moon comes out and shines on [[KillerTeddyBear Mr. Miggins]] who grows ''claws and teeth'' and sports a horrible expression and ''[[TheFourthWallWillNotProtectYou leaps at the screen]]'' to the [[SarcasmMode delightful sound]] of Candace screaming.]] Cue commercial break, then a new, unrelated segment all together.
*** Ducky Momo's scream is also pretty terrifying.
** The second 'story' was more funny, with Doof summoning the Inexplicable Giant Floating Baby Head so he can get three wishes. However, to symbolizes how many wish he has left, his hand has [[BodyHorror the faces and hair of the Giant Floating Baby Head, which can even make his fingers move on their own!]] Doof even comments on it being [[NightmareFuel "Slightly Horrifying".]]
** Finally, there's the third 'story', involving Perry having grape juice spilled on him (via Buford) which creates an evil, purple clone. The clone, after scarring the kids, pours more juice onto itself to create more clones, and then they spread out throughout Danville causing havoc and [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking playing tennis]]. In the end, the kids, after trying and failing to wipe out the at least several hundred clones, they end up in a grape juice box factory and end up ''[[spoiler: [[FamilyUnfriendlyDeath being ripped to shreds]]]]'', thankfully offscreen. Of course, [[spoiler: it was all just a story and the ending got changed from that]], but that arguably makes it worse... ''[[CheerfulChild Phineas]]'' wanted the story to end that way!

[[/folder]]

[[folder: The Return of the Rogue Rabbit ]]

* The giant Puppet Fireside Girl, especially during the song.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: It's No Picnic ]]

* Isabella's "squee" face is either creepier than or as creepy as Creepy Candy from "Suddenly Suzy".

[[/folder]]

[[folder: The Klimpaloon Ultimatum ]]

* Klimpaloon is unnerving. The knock-off Klimpaloons are horrifying. Not only do they look a hundred shades of wrong, the noises they make sound utterly ''agonized''.
** When Candace escapes [[spoiler: Mr Random's]] hideout, you can also see a bin with [[FridgeHorror dead Klimpaloon recreations]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Specials and Miscellaneous]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Phineas and Ferb Summer Belongs to You! ]]

* The Klimpaloon. THE EYES.
** Though to be fair, the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12TSK3mCYgEv Nang Nang Nang]] sound it makes as well as the sheer amount of WTF that the existence of a magical old-timey bathing suit living in the Himalayas produces can bring about quite a bit of NightmareRetardant.
** It's [[LampShading Lampshaded]] in the [[LongSongShortScene unused]] [[CrowningMusicOfAwesome Ballad of Klimpaloon]].

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel ]]

* Seeing Phineas act so harsh and coldly because [[spoiler: Candace continuously screws up the attempts to give the Marvel superheroes their powers back]] just because of how serious he thought the situation was is pretty unsettling to watch, if only because we are so used to Phineas being much happier than this.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Phineas and Ferb: Save Summer ]]

* Stacy [[http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140524182458/phineasandferb/images/3/3c/Khguykd.png after]] she [[spoiler: is bitten by a spider.]]
* Rodney's willingness to throw the Earth into a new ice age is kinda disturbing.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Other ]]

* Playing as Phineas in the online game for TheMovie. Due to the shape of his head, you can ''see (part of) his eyeballs when viewing him from behind''. Maybe there's a reason we rarely (if ever) view Phineas directly from behind (or for that matter, directly from the front) in the cartoons.
** All of the above pales in comparison when we ''do'' [[http://img811.imageshack.us/img811/2544/phineas.png see Phineas from the front.]]
*** [[DependingOnTheArtist Depends On The Artist]] really, sometimes his front view is [[http://29.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lsbef7ydNZ1qcqj0ko1_500.png strangely adorable.]]
* The costumes in the live stage show with the big, constantly staring eyes.
** Not to mention that the heavily stylized cartoon anatomy of the characters overall just doesn't really... [[UncannyValley fit]] when it comes to a live action adaptation.
* Like the stage costumes, this image of [[http://twitterfan.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=48#/d442lv3 Phineas untooned]] falls straight into the UncannyValley.
* Sorta an in-universe example, in the DVD commentary for "The Chronicles of Meap" by Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Major Monogram, the latter actually calls Meap "Nightmare Fuel".
* Many of Doofensmirtz's defeats are really really dark at times for a kid's show. Once he was stranded on Mars (Though it had breathable atmosphere because... because), Another time he was left trapped inside a submarine on the bottom of a lake, another time he and a bunch of other scientists were zapped into another dimension and eaten by an alien baby. Cartoons (Especially Disney) have done the "Villain gets trapped in a situation they couldn't possibly escape from but do anyway to preserve statusquo and is never explained" scenario all the time, but it doesn't make these any less dark.
