{{Ununnilium}}: Should the current entry be moved off and this turned into an entry on the books? On the other hand, the radio show ''did'' come first; on the other ''other'' hand, the books are better known...

MorganWick: Why not an entry on the entire phenomenon? From radio series, to book, to miniseries, all the way up to TheMovie.

{{Ununnilium}}: Good idea! I'll move the current entry to Series/TheHitchhikersGuideToTheGalaxy and do a basic franchise entry.

Later: Okay! Now... what index do I put this on?

{{Zephid}}: Is there a reason "Don't Panic" is in frickin' ''yellow''? On a white background?

NateTheGreat: I second that. I changed it to green, the color of the mascot.

{{Haven}}: Took out this DidNotDoTheResearch; the two points under the first one are pretty good arguments, and as for the second--so he said manic''ally'' instead of ''manic'' depressive, not a big deal. Also, the series started in the 80s, so it probably ''predates'' the research.

* DidNotDoTheResearch: At least two:
** Ford is supposed to come from a planet of Betelgeuse; Adams chose this star solely so that he could give it the comedy pronunciation "Beetlejuice". Unfortunately, it's a variable star so any planet it has would be too cold to support humanoid life, or too hot — or ''both of those'' at different times.
** He's from a small planet ''in the vicinity of'' Betelgeuse. That doesn't necessarily mean "in orbit around". it could be in the next star system over.
*** Also, too cold to support humanoid life? Is there a certain temperature below which a pair of legs and arms just don't work? Humanoid refers to body shape, not "having a biology similar to humans," and for that matter, Ford isn't human. There's no telling what sort of BizarreAlienBiology he's got.
** Marvin is described as "manically depressed". This is a contradiction in terms; mania is the ''opposite'' of depression, so although one person can suffer both (it's called !moodswing", "cyclothymia", "bipolar disorder" etc.) they ''cannot'' do so '''''at the same time'''''.

PlanetCool: deleted the "Two thousand years" line, as it breaks the flow of the first page quote and does nothing to describe the work.

SuddenFrost: Should ''And Another Thing...'' tropes be moved to the [=~H2G2/And Another Thing~=] page?

* PlanetCool: I don't know about moved, but they should definitely be ''added'' to that page. By the way, following in the footsteps of whoever made individual pages for all ''{{Discworld}}'' books, I've been making individual pages for the books in the Increasingly Inaccurately Named Trilogy. However, I can't get the indexes to show up properly or for a "reviews" link to show up at all. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Okay, guys, BIG problem. The links on some of the individual book pages are getting screwed up. Some links don't recognize the fact that the page they link to already exists (they're marked as red links), the ''And Another Thing'' page has a link on it that leads to the "And Another Thing" ''trope'', and the books don't recognize one another on each other's pages (so the link to ''Mostly Harmless'' is red on the AAT page). What's going on!?

* OK, apparently the big one is fixed... there's still the trope ling on AAT though.
