I also stuck to my GCSE English and aced that), vowed to never go back to college but eventually had to because of a horrific series of events at another public school, and now... well, it's actually getting better! I'm doing a different course at the same college about a subject that I love with people who are awesome compared to the other lot, I started a couple of weeks late but I'm catching up incredibly well (because I'm a genius see). I've found my old nakama and hope to patch things up with them and I hope to learn how to make friends again. I've definitely grown stronger (and oddly, more fashion-concious) from my experiences, so I'm glad of that. It's also given me a lot of ideas for my story (details below) for which I'm glad (the character James is pretty much me, only without the rape, beatings and parental abuse). [[SoYeah So... yeah!]] Go me I guess. Heehee~

I'm working on a Romance/ {{Slice of Life}} / {{Dramedy}} comic. It's still in early development. I'm currently writing the script, tweaking the story to make it better and trying to tweak the character drawings so they look more like what they do in my mind. It's set in London (my home town so pretty much everywhere is real (it's in a place in Enfield called Arnos Grove) except for a few landmarks which I moved and the name of my old school which I changed to protect the innocent and the retarded), and it mainly centres around the lives of three teenagers at a public school. It mainly focuses on homosexual, male relationships, so if you don't like that then GTFO. Here are the tropes that apply to the characters and story:

!!!Xander (Appearance: Tall, black shaggy hair, lean and a bit muscular, dark blue eyes. Is fond of wearing dark blue jeans, navy blue/black shirts and black hoodies)
A young man who was found severely beaten at the side of the motorway when he was 6, with no memory of what happened before then. He was raised in a boy's orphanage until he was 12. Violet's parents adopted him and the story takes off from there.
*AdultChild: His default personality seems to be this but he can be serious when the situation calls for it.
*BiTheWay / IfItsYouItsOkay: I'm not sure if it's one or the other at the moment, James seems to be the only male Xander is ever attracted to, and he takes objection to being called gay.
*BigBrotherComplex: Towards James, ''at first''.
*BreakTheCutie: I've noticed that as the story progresses, James gets less [[{{Angst}} angsty]] and broken and Xander gets more angsty and broken (he gets a bit better though loses his AdultChild and vaguely CloudCuckooLander -ish mannerisms).

*DeadlyDoctor: Deadly slightly less in the sense of asskicking but more in the sense of being a doctor-in-training and not yet familiar with the 'be more gentle with people who have just been beaten up and have bruises and cuts all over their bodies' thing.
*{{Seme}}: In a typical {{Yaoi}} comic, he would be, but this isn't your typical Yaoi comic. I tried to make this like a proper two male relationship so there's none of that RapeIsLove or steely-hard {{Seme}} and girly, overly-emotional {{Uke}} tripe. He's more like [[{{One Piece}} Luffy]] than [[{{Gravitation}} Yuki]] too. Although he likes to think he's the Seme but James has none of it.

A quiet boy who is ostracised at school. He gets bullied a lot and wishes he could just... be invisible.

*TheWoobie: Poor... poor James. Let's see now... raped at age 10, mother dead at 11, detested by everyone in his class at 12, abused by his controlling stepfather though it all and barely more than a walking corpse by the age of 13. If that's not a woobie I don't know what is.
*WiseBeyondTheirYears: He comes off more as a world-weary 30 year old than a teenage boy. He's possibly the smartest main character too.
