''[[http://comic.truefork.org NQDC]]'' is an {{Animesque}} Meta LifeEmbellished {{Webcomic}} that is also available in print. It focuses heavily on {{Parody}}, and BreakingTheFourthWall. It advertises itself as plotless, but there have been several {{Story Arc}}s, interspersed with one-off "Intermezzo" episodes. Despite the presence of aliens, ninjas, sky pirates, zombies, demons, and magic, the NotQuiteDailyComic features very little conflict and instead concentrates on interpersonal relationships and philosophical questions.
''NQDC'' follows an occasionally expanding cast of recurring characters:
* Mr. Artist: The self-explanatory AuthorAvatar with NerdGlasses
* Ankhetmaruranetherure (aka Amaranthe): OurVampiresAreDifferent, SomeCallMeTim
* Irene: LadyOfWar and HotShounenMom
* Karl: TheStrategist with a DarkAndTroubledPast
* Kazuma: A {{Bokukko}} {{Yuri}} Demon Hunting {{Samurai}}
* Kira: PosthumousCharacter, DarkMagicalGirl
* Lea: Irene's LittleMissBadass daughter
* Lulu: A TortoiseGirl and example of TurtlePower
* Malène: A HotAsHell {{Succubus}}, EvilAlbino and Kazuma's ArchEnemy
* Myshka: A CatGirl on the uncanny side of the anthropomorphic spectrum
* S-ko: TallDarkAndBishoujo CoolBigSis, and literally a LittleGreenMen
* Tam: Also LittleGreenMen, with a DarkAndTroubledPast
The default setting appears to be UsefulNotes/{{Belgium}}, with occasional travel elsewhere.
