SilentHunter: Would the Alias episode where Olivia d'Abo is forced to sing "Pop Goes The Weasel" before being blown up an example of this trope?
----
GuesssWho: Pretty much all of Johnny Mathis is really spooky now.

Kilyle: Does the... wait, Johnny Mathis? Huh? What'd I miss? ...anyway, is the "Eensy-weensy spider" song from... what, 8-Legged Freaks, maybe? ... does that count?

Seanette: I recall a rather nice Johnny Mathis song ("Wonderful, Wonderful") used on TheXFiles, in the episode "Home", arguably one of the squickiest, creepiest episodes they ever did (and one of my favorites). I also find "Hokey Pokey" a bit unsettling, after hearing it over and over in the episode "Chinga".

MasamiPhoenix: I removed the following twittle from the Pirates example, as it's got nothing to do with this trope and is best fitted for ItJustBugs me.
**This editor has no idea how the pipe organ still works when it's kept in a ship that frequently goes underwater, however.
*** AWizardDidIt Magic, perhaps? If so, that would also explain why both the Pearl and the Dutchman could sail with such tattered sails.
**** Wow, walking skeleton pirates, cursed aztec gold, mutant fish pirates, a kracken, the sea goddess, a magic compass...some folks just don't want to admit they're watching fantasy

Falchion: Have any of you people seen that 30-second spot for Rainbow Six 3 with the little girl singing 'My Country 'tis of Thee'? Brrr...

Wardog: Didn't Alien³ open with footage of a facehugger breaking into someone's cryopod, to the tune of Twinkle, twinkle, little star?
