It is the reverse of WhereAreTheyNowEpilogue but for one episode, like where the characters were.

It's when the last scene of an episode shows when all the relevant characters were at the event that precipitated the events of the episode.
* Oedipus Hex in ''Series/{{CSINY}}''
* Mutiny in ''Series/{{JAG}}''
* There is a homage to "Mad World" in the second-to-last scene of ''Film/{{Donnie Darko}}'', in which we see many characters as they were before the plot took off. Or... where they are now, depending on how one interprets the whole time-travel thing.
* The final episode of ''Series/{{Battlestar Galactica|2003}}'' has some flashbacks of many of the main characters prior to the ApocalypseHow that starts the series.
* The episode "Needs" in Creator/JossWhedon's ''Series/{{Dollhouse}}'' does this, and [[spoiler: reveals that the dolls' temporary self-awareness even their near-escape was all part of the House's plan.]]
