A Japanese production studio founded in 1987 by ex-TatsunokoProduction staff. They've been responsible for dozens upon dozens of movie, video game and Anime productions, including ''[[Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion End of Evangelion]]'' (and the series), ''GhostInTheShell'', and ''EdenOfTheEast''. They are also well-regarded for their use of digital compositing techniques.

The "I.G" part of the company name refers to its founders, Mitsuhisa Ishikawa and Takayuki Goto. They frequently collaborate with MamoruOshii.

Production I.G has two subsidiary companies {{Xebec}} and Mag Garden. From 1997-2006 studio BeeTrain was also a subsidiary.
