Mila Kunis (born 1983) is an American actress, most famous for playing Jackie Burkhart on ''Series/That70sShow'' and voicing Meg Griffin on ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy''.

She was born in Ukraine, then part of the Soviet Union; her family moved to the U.S. after the fall of communism. In the '90s, she appeared in small roles in TV series (''Series/{{Baywatch}}'', ''WalkerTexasRanger'', ''Series/SeventhHeaven'') and films (''Film/{{Piranha}}'', ''SantaWithMuscles'', ''Film/{{Gia}}''). Her breakout role was of Jackie on ''Series/That70sShow'', which ran from 1998 to 2006. In 2001 she had a minor role in the romantic-comedy ''GetOverIt''. Kunis is now known as the voice of Meg Griffin on ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy'', [[TheOtherDarrin replacing]] the original voice actress LaceyChabert [[note]]who voiced Meg in season one, though some leftover episodes from season one cropped up in season 2, making the change between Chabert and Kunis awkward, as the leftover season one episodes that were in season two aired mixed with the season two production line. "Da Boom," the episode in which The Griffins try to survive in a Quahog that has been ravaged by the Y2K disaster, is considered the first episode to have Mila Kunis as Meg Griffin[[/note]].

She appeared in films during her run on ''That '70s Show'', but her career only took off after the series ended. In 2008, she starred in the RomanticComedy ''ForgettingSarahMarshall'', co-produced by Creator/JuddApatow. In 2009, she appeared in the film adaptation of ''Film/MaxPayne'', and MikeJudge's comedy film ''{{Extract}}''. In 2010, she starred in the post-apocalyptic action film ''Film/TheBookOfEli'' alongside DenzelWashington and had a small role in the comedy ''DateNight''. Her next film was Creator/DarrenAronofsky's ballet drama ''Film/BlackSwan'', where she played NataliePortman's rival. In 2011, she starred in the romantic comedy ''Film/FriendsWithBenefits'' along with Music/JustinTimberlake. In 2012, she appeared in Creator/SethMacFarlane's directorial debut, ''Film/{{Ted}}''. In 2013, she appeared in the fantasy film ''Film/OzTheGreatAndPowerful'', Creator/SamRaimi's take on a prequel to ''TheWizardOfOz'' lore, which sees her as [[spoiler:the Wicked Witch of the West. Yes, ''[[Film/TheWizardOfOz that]]'' [[Film/TheWizardOfOz Wicked Witch]]]].

She has also appeared in a few music videos, most notably "Jaded" for Music/{{Aerosmith}} and voiced Tanya Winters in the video game ''VideoGame/SaintsRow''.

Also agreed to go out with a [[SemperFi Marine]] [[http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/14119721 who asked her out via]] Website/YouTube.

!!This actress provides examples of:
* BilingualBonus: She still speaks her native language of Russian fluently, demonstrated [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GjsirWZoSUA here]] when she chews out a reporter in Moscow.
* DawsonCasting: Originally averted with both ''That 70s Show'' and ''Family Guy''; when cast, she was as old as her characters. However, [[ComicBookTime they remained teenagers while she grew up]].
* DyeingForYourArt: She lost 20 pounds to play a ballerina in ''Film/BlackSwan'' (then quickly regained it after filming).
* EvenTheGirlsWantHer: After filming ''Film/BlackSwan'', Mila got quite a large female fanbase.
* GirlOnGirlIsHot: The lesbian scene between her and Natalie Portman in ''Film/BlackSwan'' has gotten some attention.
* LoopholeAbuse: How she got her role on ''That70sShow'' in the first place. She told the producers she was going to be 18, but didn't tell them that it would take four more years.
* MeanCharacterNiceActor: Despite playing snobby and cruel Jackie (and the disturbed and borderline abusive Meg Griffin), she is known to be very sweet and likeable.
** More recently, she's played [[spoiler:''[[Film/OzTheGreatAndPowerful the Wicked Witch of the West]]'']].
* MismatchedEyes: She has a green and a brown eye.
* NonSingingVoice: In the ''Family Guy'' episode "Don't Make Me Over", Meg became a star singer. Since Kunis can't sing, TaraStrong performed Meg's songs.
** Although in "Road to North Pole", she was briefly heard singing with the rest of the cast during the opening song.
* OldShame: She's not proud of her roles in ''Film/SantaWithMuscles'' and ''Film/AmericanPsycho2AllAmericanGirl''.
* OneHeadTaller: She's 5' 3". She played Ashton Kutcher's (6' 2") girlfriend on ''That 70s Show'', and Creator/JasonSegel's (6' 4") on ''Forgetting Sarah Marshall''.
* OneOfUs: She's a fan of ''Franchise/StarTrek'', ''VideoGame/WorldOfWarcraft'' and ''{{Farmville}}''. Mike Judge said she can quote ''{{Rejected}}''.
* TheOtherDarrin: Was one for LaceyChabert when she was hired to voice Meg on ''FamilyGuy''
* ReallySeventeenYearsOld
* PlatonicLifePartners: Seems to have developed this type of relationship with Justin Timberlake.
* PlayingAgainstType: Her performance in ''Film/BlackSwan'' as Lily. She mainly appears in comedies, while ''Black Swan'' is a dark, psychosexual MindScrew of a drama.
** Her role in ''Film/OzTheGreatAndPowerful'' is a DoubleSubversion; she starts out as the sweet and naive witch Theodora, but takes a turn as a WomanScorned so nasty that [[spoiler:it transforms her into the Wicked Witch of the West, [[Film/TheWizardOfOz one of the most evil and iconic film villains of all time]]]].
* SesameStreetCred: She [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=bTXzYX0rrPE appeared]] on ''Series/SesameStreet'' in 2011 to teach kids about the word "include".
* YouDidntAsk: All who auditioned for her role in ''That '70s Show'' [[DawsonCasting were required to be at least 18 years old]]; she was 14 at the time, so she told the casting directors she’d be 18 on her birthday, but didn't say which one. Though they eventually figured it out, the producers still thought she was the best fit for the role.
* YoungerThanTheyLook: She appeared to be at in her mid-to-late teens when she was just 14, which is how she managed to get away with trying out for ''That '70s Show'' at such a young age. Subverted, though, because she's pushing 30 now and looks to be in her early-to-mid-twenties.
* YourCostumeNeedsWork: She mentioned in an interview that she auditioned for the part of a Russian Jewish girl in the 1995 film ''Make a Wish, Molly'', but she didn't get it, because "they didn't think I looked Russian or Jewish enough - and, mind you, I am both Russian and Jewish". Instead, she was cast as a Mexican.
