-> "Although the Devil represented everything we feared, we also really, really wanted to do him."
-->-- Literature/EarthTheBook

Satan appears! But it's not the Satan you recognise -- this one has an hourglass figure and a cheeky smile, here to seduce our hero and steal his soul! (Pretty much never the other way around.)

This technically has a justification, or at least works as a blunt metaphor, since Satan is supposed to be a cunning seducer, and being physically attractive would be a legitimate tactic in this case. Literature/TheBible even says that Satan will sometimes appear as "an angel of light".

Trickster gods in some mythologies are able to take whatever form they wish. Trickster gods are not always evil, but can be, and certainly aren't adverse to taking on an attractive form (even if it means changing sex) just to mess with the heads of others. If their form is tailored to suit the precise tastes of whoever they're trying to pull, they're a ShapeshiftingSeducer.

Mythologically, Satan actually could take the form of a succubus to steal men's semen, after which he would turn into an incubus and pass it on to a woman, in order to have kids. How exactly this was supposed to transmit Satanic genes is undetermined.

May also be (particularly for female characters) the shoulder devil in a GoodAngelBadAngel situation.

This is the ultimate form of EvilIsSexy. See also HornyDevils. Contrast with AngelicBeauty. Not to be confused with FlamingDevil, although they can overlap.

* Manga/AhMyGoddess:
** Hild, while not Satan him/herself, is still the C.E.O. of the Infernal Realm.
** Hagall: in the manga, when , and the position is taken by Hagall, who is not a bad looker either.
*** Generally the demons are no less attractive than their goddess counterparts.
* The Devils of the Runaway Spirit Squad from Manga/TheWorldGodOnlyKnows are various degrees from cute (Elsea and Haqua) to hot (Nora).
* Manga/MyBalls: All of the demons are hot women, why would Satan be any different?
* LightNovel/TheDevilIsAPartTimer: The main character Maou (Satan) appears as a bishounen in his de-powered human form, while his true form is a sexy beast.
* In LightNovel/MaoyuuMaouYuusha, Maou-sama is the leader of the demons, ultimate enemy of mankind and a gorgeous woman. Subverted in that she is closer to Prometheus than to Lucifer and wants a sustainable peace between their realms.
* HighSchoolDXD is filled to the brim with attractive demonic women, as well as demonic men. The main female protagonist Rias Gremory is one of many examples.

* In ComicBook/JohnnyTheHomicidalManiac, the devil has a few different scary, horned male forms, but assumes the form of a cute cheerleader girl because it's one of the things that Johnny likes the least.
* On more than a few occasions, Loki in the Marvel Universe takes on a female aspect, often just to mess with Thor.
* ComicBook/LadyDeath from Chaos! Comics, Avatar Press, and Boundless Comics. After overthrowing Satan himself, she is, in fact, the ruler of Hell. Meanwhile, ComicBook/Purgatori from the same universe is actually a vampire, but, due to her FallenAngel blood, she appears to look like a devil (wings, horns, red skin...no goat hooves, though).
* Creator/MarvelComics tends to portray Hela, ruler of the Norse land of the dead, as a beautiful, seductive woman. In mythology, she's often portrayed as half-alive half-corpse. In some continuities, she still is half corpse. Her costume is enchanted to give her the appearance of healthy beauty.
* Lady Blaze, the current queen of Hell in Franchise/TheDCU. With her helmet on, she has creepy glowing eyes and a SlasherSmile. Without it...
* ComicBook/XMen: Azazel toyed with other people making them believe he was a devil, and he also seduced Mystique.
* In the 1990's version of the ComicBook/Vampirella comic, her sexy mother Lilith rules Hell. (Luckily for Vampi when she dies and ends up there; her mother gives her a mission to fight vampires on Earth.)
* Sexy devilettes are the shtick of comic artist Coop (Chris Cooper). You find them on countless music concert ads.
* ComicBook/SatansHollow has a female demon/succubus in Hell's court who serves as Satan's Queen. She looks like a cross between a Xenomorph and Daenerys Targaryen, which is about as sexually confusing as it sounds.
* In Comicbook/TheWickedAndTheDivine, Lucifer of the modern pantheon incarnates into the body of a young woman who dresses like Creator/DavidBowie and goes by Luci.

* In Death Isn't All It's Cracked Up to Be Satan, while female and reasonably attractive, was more mischievous than evil. Similarly, Hell was more about punishment and redemption than torture and temptation.
* in the Literature/GoodOmens fics of Creator/AAPessimal, the heirarchy of Hell is fairly masculine. Although Hecate, beautiful Queen of Darkness and Insane Imaginings, is definitively female. Anthony Crowley also encounters Hell's training college for succubi - demons in female form sent out to tempt men with lust. He has a FriendsWithBenefits arrangement with a succubus called Lilith. Crowley himself, in accordance with one of the more gnomic scriptures of Genesis, is tasked with seducing a human woman and ensuring she has a half-demonic child - a Nephilim.Whose descendents periodically re-emerge to haunt him. He isn't above sex but after six thousand years would prefer to curl up in bed with a good book or an entertaining box set on the DVD.

* The 2000 remake of Film/Bedazzled 2000, with Elizabeth Hurley as Satan. In the original version, Peter Cook wasn't too bad looking either.
* Film/TheNinthGate featured the devil, aka Irene Adler, described by the main character as the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.
* There was a movie called Hunk in 1987 that was sort of a parody of the DealWithTheDevil plot. While the Devil was portrayed as a balding, overweight, middle-aged man, his servant - who actually presented the contract to the protagonist - was female and a knockout.
* Film/TheDevilsAdvocate. The Devil briefly takes on the appearance of a handsome man . Given the AngelicBeauty trope this is likely a reference to Lucifer as a FallenAngel.
* The Goblin King in Film/Labyrinth, explicitly designed as a GlamRock-style SatanicArchetype, is highly sexualised (just look at those PaintedOnPants!) and portrayed by the handsome Music/DavidBowie.

* Series/Lucifer2016 And how! This trope served as the show's tagline during Season 1.
* Series/Supernatural:
** The recurring Crossroads Demons may be in a different body every time, yet, somehow, they are always hot women. Invoked, since they're specifically using those hosts to make their deals more palatable to their male clients, which is SealedWithAKiss. We also see some in attractive men, who interact with female clients. Crowley, the "King of the Crossroads", however, is shown occasionally coming to seal with the deal with male clients, just to amuse himself with how uncomfortable they are kissing men.
** Demon Queen Lilith wears this type of meat suit, even demanding that Sam have sex with her to seal a deal (Dean stops him). At least whenever she's not possessing a little girl to torment her family.
** Satan himself is played by Creator/MarkPellegrino, .
** In "The Song Remains the Same", Dean has a dream in which he's serviced by a stripper in a red devil's costume.
-->Dean: I take it all back. I love the Devil.
-->(Devil stripper is joined by a blonde in an angel's costume)
-->Dean: Now that's what I call peace on Earth.
** Just to add to it, Anna, an actual angel who Dean had previously slept with, then shows up. She's visibly irked by his dream.
* Series/TheTwilightZone had Satan turn up in several episodes, usually as a conniving businessman. But one episode, "Of Late I Think of Cliffordville", featured the Devil as played by Julie Newmar. She doesn't really try to seduce the protagonist, and, within that episode, she might simply be the Devil's usual form, but looking like ComicBook/Catwoman while bargaining for a man's soul has gotta count as an advantage.
* Series/TheComicStripPresents: "Demonella". The Devil is Jennifer Saunders, c.1988.
* Series/StarTrekTheNextGeneration has Captain Picard facing off against the Ventaxian version of TheDevil known as Ardra...and boy, she knows how to flaunt what she's got! It turns out, though, that this Ardra is not really a supernatural being, but a con artist using advanced technology to pose as one.

* The video for Dimmu Borgir's song "The Sacrilegious Scorn" includes a painting of Baphomet morphing into a beautiful woman, though one with a deep male voice.
** Although technically Baphomet is a woman anyway. At least, she is when the caduceus sitting on her lap isn't being interpreted as something else entirely, in which case Baphomet is a hermaphrodite.
* Music/KISS' "Hotter Than Hell", despite its title, is about the singer being infatuated with a woman who turns out to be married.
** Implied on "Radioactive" on the Gene Simmons 1978 solo album:
-->You're my food, you're my water;
-->You have to be the devil's daughter.
* The subject of Ringo Starr's "Devil Woman" from Music/Ringo
-->You look like the devil with horns in your head,
-->The only way i'll get you is to get you in bed.

* The "Luci" Premium Edition of the Pinball/ACDC pinball features HornyDevil girl Luci, who is heavily implied to be Satan.

* In the Literature/Dragonlance universe, one of Takhisis' various forms is that of "The Temptress". Basically, a really hot goth chick, although they don't describe it quite like that.
* TabletopGame/Warhammer 40000: Slaanesh often qualifies, though, as the God of Excess, he/she/it can go a bit...over the top sometimes.

* VideoGame/Touhou had, in Mystic Square back in the PC-98 days, the Goddess of the effective equivalent of Hell, Shinki. Not only a DesignatedAntagonist, since she had nothing to do with the calamity in the game, but also a (possible) mother of returning heroine Alice (canon isn't quite clear on that point).
** Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom introduces Hecatia Lapislazuli, goddess of the three hells (Earth, Moon and Spirit World)...who's an attractive PerkyGoth.
* Millenia from VideoGame/GrandiaII. She very nearly manages to rape Ryudo...well, it would be rape, but it's hard to say.
* In VideoGame/PrincessMaker2, it's possible for your daughter become the Princess of Darkness. She literally defeats Lucifon and takes his place, and given her HelloNurse status, this trope is played straight.
* VideoGame/ShinMegamiTenseiStrangeJourney: Louisa Ferre is what happens when Lucifer is portrayed as a mysteriously seductive blond woman. Also, for the ladies, LouisCypher of the other SMT games looks like a dead ringer for David Bowie, which, given his real life sex symbol status, makes him a desirable being to either gender.
** Lucifer takes on a female disguise again in VideoGame/ShinMegamiTenseiIV:

* , although justified in that the demon pulled the shape from Dave's fantasies. Further, it's later implied that the Devil herself is female.
* Satan from Webcomic/CaseyAndAndy is a definite example - even though she loves him too, she's still Satan, and she doesn't play favorites...much. On at least a couple of occasions, she's seen subjecting the (frequently-dead) C&A to the torments of hell, answering Andy's complaints with "Waddaya want from me? I'm evil!"
* In Webcomic/DavidHopkins, the devil appears to the reader in the form of the cartoonist, but to Jack, it seems he appears as a woman, since Jack refers to the devil as "she."
