->''She's a brick... house!\\
She's mighty mighty, just lettin' it all hang out\\
She's a brick... house!\\
The lady's stacked and that's a fact,\\
ain't holding nothing back.''
-->-- '''The Commodores'''

The Amazonian Beauty is what happens when MsFanservice [[HulkingOut hulks out]].

Often times, such as in fighting video games like ''Franchise/StreetFighter'', a lot of beautiful women are jacked but no one comments on it, since to the characters it is the norm for them to see characters like that, despite the fact that they are still {{Ms Fanservice}}s who go above and beyond the call of duty in some cases.

A quick litmus test for this trope is:

* Is the female character in question muscular?
* Is her muscularity emphasized (pointed out in-universe or by flexing), or is she noticeably large?
* Is her muscle the integral and dominant physical trait of her bare skin due to large mass or definition? (Is most of the skin sculpted or bulky instead of smooth? Fairchild at right is an excellent example of both "sculpted" skin ''and'' muscle mass.) Of course, this can be DependingOnTheArtist.
* Finally, is she accompanied by tropes which emphasize {{Fanservice}}, [[TheBeautifulTropes Beauty]], and/or {{Attracti|on Tropes}}veness? [[note]] Examples: {{Stripperific}}, MaleGaze, SheCleansUpNicely, BeautifulAllAlong, AmazonChaser, PowerIsSexy, etc. [[/note]]

If the answer to all four above is "yes," the character qualifies for this trope.

This character can take her muscularity to HeroicBuild levels. Sometimes starts out as a SuperStrongChild, and usually (if not almost always) is an ActionGirl. Almost always [[BoobsOfSteel has large breasts]]. Her smaller (and equally dangerous) cousin is the CuteBruiser. Given that these girls are often tall to further enhance their presentation of strength, romances with them are likely to result in TinyGuyHugeGirl and MasculineGirlFeminineBoy.

Compare AmazonChaser where a character finds a woman attractive because of her fighting skills. If he's attracted to her ''muscles'', she's an Amazonian Beauty. Of course, both tropes can be in play at the same time if he's attracted to both.

Contrast BrawnHilda and BigBeautifulWoman. Some of these characters also double as {{Statuesque Stunner}}s. When the female in question worries about the slippery slope between this trope and BrawnHilda, it usually results in MuscleAngst.

* There was once ad for dating website geared towards guys interested in muscular ladies with a picture of a muscle-bound lady in a bikini.

[[folder:Anime and Manga]]
* ''Manga/TheLegendOfMotherSarah'' features one of the earliest representations of this trope in Japanese media, featuring a tall, athletic and imposing woman as the main character. Despite her unusual build and seldom displaying her body, many of the men she comes across in the series ogle her (like her co-prisoners in the work camps) or openly state that they find her very attractive.
* Tania from ''Anime/YuGiOhGX'', a literal Amazon. She is truly ''gigantic,'' towering over nearly every character in the show. Naturally, she completely blows Bastion's mind and he becomes hopelessly smitten with her (even [[IChooseToStay staying with her in her home dimension later]]).
* [[MightyGlacier Houmei]] from ''Manga/{{Aiki}}''. As the series progresses, however, it turns out that her efforts to keep up with her opponents by pumping up actually [[CripplingOverspecialization hampers her fighting ability]], so Houmei slims down a bit to remain competitive. [[ActionGirl Akemi Kageyasu]] shows also a very toned build and her clothing reveals her well defined abs.
* Reiko Ando from ''Anime/OutlawStar'' has the musculature you'd expect from a woman who's won the title of the [[WorldsStrongestMan "Strongest Woman in the Universe"]] four times in a row. She was aiming for a fifth time which would allow her to marry Fred Luo, who's secretly trying to stop her from winning (unbeknownst to her [[IncompatibleOrientation he's gay]]). The main character, Gene, thinks she has a beautiful and feminine face but is a bit freaked out by how muscular she is. Still, despite the opinions of the former two, she did have an audience cheering for her before her match.
* Nearly all the female characters in the PantyFighter series, ''Anime/QueensBlade'', [[{{Stripperiffic}} are scantly clad fighters]] and provide loads of fanservice. Some of them just happen to be muscular as well.
** Cattleya's appearance can be described as matronly but strong. When she's not fighting she could be mistaken as slightly chubby due to her ginormous breasts, and having a bit of a belly. In combat however, her muscles tense and you can see that she actually has extremely muscular arms, back, and bulky thighs. Her outfits is an [[NakedApron extremely revealing apron-like dress with no underwear]].
** Risty is lean and muscular and her outfit is a a thong and a top that shows off most of her torso.
** There's also Anarista a side character who's slightly more muscular than Risty. Her default outfit is fishnet leotard and a loin cloth. All of her outfits are equally revealing.
* In comparison to later depictions, [[Franchise/GhostInTheShell Major Motoko Kusanagi]] in the [[Anime/GhostInTheShell 1995 animated film adaption]] is shown to have some muscle on her bones (such as when trying to rip open the hatch of a tank late in the movie, [[HeroicRROD although she pushes her cyborg body past its limits, literally pulling herself apart]]). The ''[[SensualSpandex extremely]] [[FormFittingWardrobe tight]]'' [[SpyCatsuit thermoptic camouflage bodysuit]] doesn't exactly leave much to the imagination either. This sticks pretty close to the manga as author Creator/ShirowMasamune is ''[[AuthorAppeal extremely]]'' [[AuthorAppeal fond]] of drawing statuesque women with an exquisitely detailed musculature.
* [[DarkSkinnedRedhead Genie]], the resident [[ActionGirl swordswoman]] of ''Anime/RuneSoldierLouie'', is shown to be pretty built in both the arms and [[BoobsOfSteel chest]] department and is [[StatuesqueStunner quite tall]]. She also strides into battle with [[{{Stripperiffic}} little clothing]] other than what appears to be a [[BareYourMidriff midriff-barring]] bikini with a loincloth and cowl worn over that.
** Not to mention she carries the exact same amount of bulk and muscle mass as the titular character Louie, who himself is one of the biggest characters in the series.
* In a few of Creator/GoNagai's works (''Iron Muscle'' and ''Mazinger Angels''), there's a recurring character named Sakurako Honou ([[http://elee0228.deviantart.com/journal/33359942/ see here]]). Very muscular (especially in the arms and abs) and ''very'' {{fanservice}}y (up to and including a few naked shots in volume 3 of ''Iron Muscle'').
** And speaking of Nagai, there's the [[http://i.imgur.com/rXz02kx.jpg Jun]] of ''Manga/IronVirginJun'' who's muscular yet very feminine. Most of the characters in the series lust after her and she frequently finds her herself nude or in erotic situations but true to the title she does remain a virgin for most of the series (in the manga).
* Casca from ''Manga/{{Berserk}}'' is quite well-toned from her career as a mercenary and even admitted that she was embarrassed to wear a [[SheCleansUpNicely shoulder-revealing ball gown]] because of her muscles (of course this did not stop love interest Guts from totally gawking at her). After the [[BreakTheCutie trauma she suffered]] from the Eclipse, however, Casca loses a considerable amount of muscle.
* [[EyepatchOfPower Valmet]] from Manga/{{Jormungand}} is ripped, and at least three guys on her mercenary team find her physically attractive, though [[BuxomIsBetter it's mainly because of her large breasts]] as revealed in the BeachEpisode where they try to grope her breasts without [[PervertRevengeMode incurring her wrath]]. The same episode also had lingering closeups of her in a bikini highlighting her muscled body.
* Later volumes of ''LightNovel/{{Baccano}}'' have Aging, a roughly seven-foot-tall woman with a physique resembling Michelangelo's David, only with breasts and 50% more muscle definition. While she intimidates the hell out of most men (it's somewhat reasonable to be afraid of a woman who uses a minigun as a one-handed firearm), the text makes it clear that the muscle makes her no less attractive.
* Mikasa Ackerman from ''Manga/AttackOnTitan'' is pretty enough [[LoveAtFirstSight to leave Jean literally speechless]], but, man, is she ripped under that uniform. While you don't get to see much of her muscularity in actual series, some official illustrations have her wear tanktops and sport bras to show off her physique.
* Supaz from ''Manga/UbelBlatt'', was a fat woman in a modest royal dress and cape. Later on [[spoiler:Lord Glenn]] grants her and her brothers new powers which for her slims her down to an athletically built woman with one dis-proportionally more muscular and monstrous arm. Unlike her brothers, who are in full armor after their transformation, she's in an [[ChainmailBikini armored leotard]] which [[BareYourMidriff exposes her bottom torso]] and has a CleavageWindow which shows off a lot of cleavage since her breasts, which were already large on her wider pre-transformation state from are the same size afterwards.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Card Games]]
* The majority of the Amazoness series of cards in ''[[Tabletopgame/YuGiOh Yu-Gi-Oh!]]'' are a clan of attractive women who are at least athletically built/toned. Their [[{{Stripperiffic}} revealing attire]] doesn't exactly hurt in this regard either.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Comedy]]
* The former comedy duo [[http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0022767/ Idan Alterman]] and [[http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0334455/ Avi Grainik]] used to perform as a pair of characters named [[http://www.google.com/imgres?um=1&hl=en&safe=off&sa=N&biw=1280&bih=921&tbm=isch&tbnid=M5C0_cfaO5d6IM:&imgrefurl=http://www.ynet.co.il/articles/0,7340,L-1298868,00.html&docid=LAs8-jD0VBt1HM&imgurl=http://www.ynet.co.il/PicServer/290801/148640/star_a.jpg&w=116&h=116&ei=aewsUIySEoSn0QXToIHIDA&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=417&sig=103213913835662315625&page=1&tbnh=92&tbnw=92&start=0&ndsp=30&ved=1t:429,r:0,s:0,i:75&tx=11&ty=78 Tsakhi and Meir,]] respectively, in various skit shows, and between 2001-2003 they hosted a talk show named ''The Neighbourhood Stars''[[note]] כּוֹכְבֵי הַשְּׁכוּנָה, ''Kokhvei haShkhuna''; for some reason this show doesn’t appear on Website/IMDb [[/note]]. At one point they had a segment on the show featuring the attempts to find a wife for Tsakhi, featuring videos sent by women from all over Israel who tried to win Tsakhi's affections. One of them was a prime example of this trope: a well-built and fairly attractive woman speaking to the camera while lifting weights and talking about training with Tsakhi. [[NoGuyWantsAnAmazon Meir wasn't too thrilled with her]], but Tsakhi seemed to be more open to her, and even remarked it could be nice to say, "Watch out, or I'll call my wife on ya!" (Eventually he married another famous comedy character, though.)
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Comic Books]]
* ComicBook/SheHulk, is almost seven feet tall, usually muscular. How muscular is [[DependingOnTheArtist dependent on the artist]] but it is a huge range, from just noticeable one issue to out-muscling most male superheros in another. Still, the height and the muscles haven't stopped her from being one of the Marvel universe's [[ReallyGetsAround most promiscuous]] superheroine. Nor has it stopped her from providing huge amounts of {{fanservice}}, as she frequently finds herself fighting in her underwear, swimwear, or [[ClothingDamage clothes torn to shreds]].
** There's also her EvilCounterpart Titania, who like she-hulk is also very muscular. Her her costume is a purple leotard that exposes most of her torso. She's also [[UnholyMatrimony married to another villain]] Crusher Creel, [[AmazonChaser who admires her for her strength]].
** Later on Red She-Hulk is introduced who, unsurprisingly, looks a lot like She-Hulk and also has a habit of getting her clothes torn.
* Before Comics/PowerGirl got her first ongoing it was fairly common for her to be depicted with a muscular build with huge biceps. Her most muscular depiction is in ComicBook/KingdomCome where she has [[http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s311/cmaeditor/Power_Woman.jpg bodybuilder-like proportions]]. Regardless of physique she's considered extremely attractive InUniverse, though [[BuxomIsBetter it's usually for her softer features]] since she's the bustiest superheroine in the DC universe and wears leotard with a huge CleavageWindow showing off that fact.
* WonderWoman is [[InformedAttractiveness canonical]] the WorldsMostBeautifulWoman and usually fights in a revealing strapless leotard or bustier-hotpants combo. While she's usually depicted as tall and lithe in most issues, where are a few ones where's she's much more muscular with a broad shoulders and large biceps.
* Grace Choi from ''BatmanAndTheOutsiders'' is a seven foot tall muscular amazon. Her outfit is usually pants with a sleeveless crop top or a sports-bra-like top, both of which show off her muscular arms and abs. Despite the muscles, height and being somewhat of a butch, [[ReallyGetsAround she's managed to rack up quite of few sexual partners.]]
* Caitlin Fairchild from ''{{ComicBook/Gen13}}'' DependingOnTheArtist. It's explicitly stated that a muscular physique is part of her powerset and characters in the series have described her as muscular but her depictions go anywhere from skinny to slightly ripped to muscular powerhouse. Regardless of how she's depicted she considered extremely beautiful by a lot of characters; her teammate Freefall has a [[http://i.imgur.com/Ln9CBMC.jpg long-standing inferiority complex]] because she feels she can't measure up to [[http://i.imgur.com/uKUTHHh.jpg Fairchild's ridiculous beauty]], for instance.
** Pictured is her New52 incarnation who can become muscular at will by activating her powers. The first time she shows her abilities is in ComicBook/{{Superboy}} where the increase in muscle size shreds [[DressedInLayers her firsts a layer of her clothes revealing]] a [[http://insidepulse.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/sb_03_021.jpg swimsuit-like outfit underneath]].
* [[http://www.lymandally.com/ Lyman Dally]] tends to like drawing muscular physiques for women seeing as he was a former bodybuilder himself. In one series of his, ''Max Rep'', there's [[http://img382.imageshack.us/img382/5307/quadrablucenterfoldxl010ba.jpg Quadra-Blu,]] the most successful female bodybuilder in the galaxy and an [[WillTheyOrWontThey on-again, off-again lover]] of the titular character (himself a bodybuilder). However, [[http://femalemuscle.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/Max-Rep-2-Lyman-Dally.jpg at one point]] she does consider slimming down and going into fitness because she finds herself to be a bit ''too'' bulky. Max does not enjoy this news.
* Giganta, a member of WonderWoman's RoguesGallery and the second ComicBook/SecretSix, [[MeaningfulName is quite the]] StatuesqueStunner (6'6" by default, and she can [[AttackOfThe50FootWhatever grow to several hundred feet tall]]), but is commonly drawn with a muscular build. This is accentuated by her [[IconicOutfit usual attire]] of [[VaporWear a leopard print skirt and matching bra]], giving Giganta a very convincing NubileSavage vibe. Unfortunately for fans of this trope, ever since DC's ''One Year Later'' storyline, Giganta dons a [[HellBentForLeather leather]] [[SpyCatsuit catsuit]] and appears to be much slimmer.
* Comicbook/{{Supergirl}} in ''[[http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_5YsHcdKj67c/TOWTksl9WoI/AAAAAAAABaU/elFp05zTdJ4/s1600/ElseworldsFinest-12%2BSupergirl%2526Batgirl.jpg Elseworld's Finest: Supergirl and Batgirl.]]'' looks more like a female version of Superman than the one in the main DC universe. Like him she's tall, very muscular, and treated like a goddess by the public.
* Big Barda, a former member of Darkseid's [[AmazonBrigade Female Furies]], is a bruiser who makes ''Franchise/{{Supe|rman}}s'' [[TinyGuyHugeGirl look like a midget in comparison]]. She's considered extremely beautiful in-universe, despite her humongous size and muscle tone. [[HappilyMarried (Unfortunately for her admirers, she's taken.)]]
* Frank Cho seems to like employing this trope with most women he draws. Most women have some sort of exposed musculature while still maintaining feminine proportions such as large breasts and rears. He also tends to employ MaleGaze to highlight these points.
* Knockout who's made noticeable appearances ''ComicBook/{{Superboy}}'', ''ComicBook/SecretSix'', and ''ComicBook/BirdsOfPrey'' and usually depicted with muscular arms. She had a romantic relationship with Superboy that ended with he realized [[CuteAndPsycho she's a violent sociopath]]. After Superboy she started dating Scandal of the ComicBook/SecretSix.
* Stunner, a member of Franchise/SpiderMan's RoguesGallery, who looks like a blonde haired bodybuilder wearing a skin-tight leotard. True to her name, she is described as breathtakingly beautiful and in her first appearances [[http://i.imgur.com/Gq60ZuV.jpg brags about how beautiful she is to some patrons at a bar]], who judging the smiles on their smiles didn't disagree.
** The reason why Stunner is so beautiful is that she's a [[HardLight virtual reality construct]] (tangible hologram) controlled by Angelina Brancale. Angelina is an obese woman who wanted to be thin and beautiful, so Doctor Octopus, another spider-man villain and her lover at the time, gave her a machine that allowed her to be Stunner.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Fan Work]]
* A lot of online work such as {{doujinshi}} and FanArt (see sites like Website/DeviantArt, Danbooru, and Pixiv) tend to produce bulked-up version of women (whether {{original|Generation}} [[SelfFanservice or not]]), usually [[{{Fanservice}} flaunting their heavily-muscled physiques]] and/or [[CharlesAtlasSuperpower performing Herculean-feats of might]].
* The ''Fanfic/PonyPOVSeries'' has this with Dark World!Rarity. In addition to spending a thousand years as one of Discord's brainwashed CoDragons before being redeemed, she also spent it lugging around Tom and tons of rocks. As a result, she's ripped, but she's still...well, Rarity. Twilight even comments that Rarity looks graceful and lovely as ever. Spike also still considers her beautiful, and they finally end up an OfficialCouple.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Film]]
* In ''Film/SkinDeep'', Zach, a guy who basically hasn't met a woman he hasn't wanted (or in many cases tried) to have sex with, picks up a attractive woman, Lonnie, and goes home with her. [[ClarkKentOutfit When they get naked, he discovers she's a really dedicated bodybuilder, muscles and all]]. He's still finds her attractive and the two have sex.
-->'''Lonnie:'''I hope you're not frightened now, Zach.
-->'''Zach:'''I'm not, but fortunately my cock is scared stiff.
* In the film, ''My Lucky Stars'' featuring Creator/JackieChan and Sammo Hung, the Japanese model who turned out to be a muscular martial artist when she took off her robe, during her DesignatedGirlFight. Said woman was played by RealLife Amazonian Beauty Michiko Nishiwaki, who's also a stuntwoman.
* In ''Film/TheAdventuresOfPlutoNash'', Pluto and Dina go to see a body alteration specialist, who shows them different projections of what their bodies could look like. One of these is the pair as a male and female bodybuilder. Both of them are very impressed with their new potential bodies. Well, Dina is until Pluto has the specialist give her projection a way bigger chest and butt.
* ''Film/StarTrekVTheFinalFrontier'' has Vixis, the [[TheDragon Klingon lieutenant]] who had some powerful looking arms. Sulu and Chekov seemed to be interested, the latter even commenting on her "wonderful muscles".
* There's a whole genre of films based on this trope. Most of them feature some girl or other flexing, beating up men, and sometimes wrestling with another girl. They generally run from about PG-13 to softcore porn (there are a few who do hardcore porn, however), depending on the girls participating and what their limits were.
* Pretty much the entire point of ''Film/{{Haywire}}'' was to showcase the main character, Mallory Kane, beat up all the other guys in the movie. Especially in the hotel fight she is in a cocktail dress while doing so, with her arms and legs exposed while doing some rather intense choke holds.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Literature]]
* Beth Halpern from the MichaelCrichton novel ''The {{Sphere}}'', was a very attractive weightlifter. One of the other characters described her as "Mother Nature with muscles".
* Junapur from ''Literature/{{Cerberon}}'' is large, well-muscled, and beautiful. She is also a LittleBitBeastly, but George sees her as strong, swift and beautiful as the Amazonian ideal.
* The tall, muscular, and pretty Monica Figuerola from the ''TheMillenniumTrilogy'' is described as this by the author and Blomkvist.
* Arlene from ''Literature/{{Doom}}''. Fly describes her as being the best looking woman he's ever seen, but not in the conventional sense of beauty. In particular he loves her muscle tone. One newbie to the squad once tried to pull down her pants and while the whole squad was interested in seeing more of her ass nobody else was stupid enough to piss her off.
* Bobbie Draper from James Corey's ''Literature/TheExpanse''. A Martian SpaceMarine who's curvy, muscular, pretty and well over six feet tall. Protagonist Jim Holden thinks she looks like a Polynesian beach bunny scaled up 150%.
* Thandi Palane introduced in ''Creator/DavidWeber''s "Crown Of Slaves". She is from the hell planet Ndebele, and is described variously as "statuesque", "an ogress", and "very big and easily the most powerful-looking woman she had ever seen". Of course, she is also described as having a "grin which bordered on dazzling", and especially "That smile. The one which, along with her voice, put the goddess body to shame".
* In the second book of the ''Literature/OutlanderLeander'' series, Axe is over 7' tall and extremely muscular. She's shown lifting heavy objects and tossing them around with ease. Leander also mentions that a lot of people would probably find her attractive if she wasn't a terrifying murderer.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Live Action TV]]
* Most of the [[ActionGirl female members]] of the ''Series/AmericanGladiators'' were pretty ripped and their [[LeotardOfPower clothing did]] [[{{Stripperiffic}} very little to hide it.]] Cast member Raye Hollitt (known by the stage name "Zap") has done some of the most risqué modeling work of the original six, including a 1996 appearance in ''Magazines/{{Playboy}}''.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Professional Wrestling]]
* In general, any female wrestler who isn't a butch could be considered an Amazonian Beauty. Wrestling outfits in general tend to be revealing and even though many WWE divas aren't known for being exceptionally buff, they're obviously more muscular than your average woman.
* Beth Phoenix embodies this trope. She's nicknamed "The Glamazon." When she was in a relationship with Wrestling/SantinoMarella, he would sometimes celebrate his wins by leaping into her arms.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Tabletop Games]]
* In ''TabletopGame/WerewolfTheApocalypse'', the official art depicts Zhyzhak (the signature [[EvilCounterpart Black Spiral Dancer]]) as either an amazonian beauty or a musclebound BrawnHilda. Zhyzhak is tall and long-haired, has defined muscles, and wears dominatrix outfits.
* In ''Franchise/BattleTech'', female [[ProudWarriorRaceGuy Clan]] [[SuperSoldiers Elementals]] have about a 50/50 chance of being this, or BrawnHilda.

[[/folder]]

[[folder:Video Games]]
* ''Franchise/StreetFighter'' has quite a few female characters that are very muscular and it doesn't seem to stop them from provide a lot of fanservice.
** Chun-li thanks to her legs which, [[[[DependingOnTheArtist depending on the game and official art]], range from well-toned or massive pillars of muscle. Makes sense considering her [[KickChick fighting style is largely based on kicking]]. Her upper body is usually slender with a few exceptions such as in the [[VideoGame/StreetFighterAlpha Alpha series]] where she has muscular arms and abs. Most of her costumes are fairly modest but always designed to emphasize her legs either with tights and/or her of her dresses having waist high side slits.
** Cammy ([[DependingOnTheArtist usually]]) has slender build with solid muscular tone but it's hard to notice since the camera likes to take advantage of the fact that she [[LeotardOfPower fights in a thong leotard]] by [[MaleGaze focusing on her butt]]).
** As of ''VideoGame/StreetFighterIV'', the likes of [[VideoGame/StreetFighterIII Ibuki]] and ''especially'' [[VideoGame/StreetFighterIII Makoto]] show off significant muscle definition along with dangerously short skirts in their schoolgirl uniforms.
* In ''VideoGame/StreetFighterXTekken'' most of female cast are depicted as a lot more muscular than their usual portrayals in their home franchises.
** Nina Williams (''VideoGame/{{Tekken}}'') due to her legs becoming a lot more muscular. Her outfits is a bodysuit that covers most of her body but is [[FormFittingWardrobe form fitting]] enough for that not to matter
** Julia Chang (''VideoGame/{{Tekken}}'') who wears a midriff bearing tank top and a miniskirt. She's usually slender, but here she's buff all over.
** Poison from (''VideoGame/FinalFight''), has six pack abs and muscular legs exposed by her tank top and daisy dukes.
* Felcia from the ''VideoGame/{{Darkstalkers}}'' series is depicted with a [[http://www.fightersgeneration.com/np2/char2/char/felicia-ds2-art.jpg very muscular upper body]] in the first two installments but from the third one continuing in her appearances in other Creator/{{Capcom}} she's slimmed to a petite body. In all installments however her default outfit mainly consists of thin fur strips that keep her from being completely nude.
* ''VideoGame/CaptainCommando'' has Carol and Brenda, [[{{Stripperiffic}} two scantily clad]] {{Palette Swap}}ped enemies that use [[ShockAndAwe electric attacks]]. The [[http://i.imgur.com/rW3nkbH.png in-game sprites]] have huge arms, while in [[http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090201051235/capcomdatabase/images/5/5d/CapComCarol.png official works and promo material]] for the game have them lean and muscular.
* [[{{Beastess}} Sheeva]] from ''Franchise/MortalKombat'' series is a member of a [[MultiArmedAndDangerous four armed]] [[HalfHumanHybrid half-human, half-dragon]] warrior race called the Shokan. Like the male members of her species she's tall, muscular (especially in [[http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100703163251/mk/images/c/c2/Sheeva_Armageddon.PNG ''Armageddon'']]), and monstrous, [[CuteMonsterGirl though to a much lesser degree]]. While her body type is unique among the female cast in the series, all have the same slender yet curvy build, her costumes are not. Like the rest of the females she is also [[{{Stripperiffic}} scantly-clad]] with her usual outfit being a [[http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110919082804/mk_/images/c/c2/SheevaMK3versus.png sling-bikini]], and her other costumes being just as revealing.
* Vanessa Lewis from ''VideoGame/VirtuaFighter''. Her outfits always show off a lot skin, but especially emphasize her washboard abs and tree-trunk thighs. This was most noticeable in ''Virtua Fighter 4''. ''[[UpdatedRerelease Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown]]'' makes it optional; players can customize her with a skin texture that greatly increases her muscle tone.
** Sarah in ''VF4'', in the form of big biceps. Hard to miss since she wears a [[FormFittingWardrobe skintight sleeveless bodysuit]]. Like Vanessa, she was slimmed down in ''5'', and muscle tone and definition vanished.
* Blue Mary from ''VideoGame/TheKingOfFighters'' thanks to her defined biceps and her halter crop top that exposing them. She's also a love interest to Terry Bogard, one of the central characters in the series.
* Shina from ''VideoGame/BloodyRoar'' series has some muscular arms and toned abs which are shown off by most of her outfits being sleeveless crop tops. Special mentions go to her default outfit in Bloody Roar 3 which [[http://www.fightersgeneration.com/characters2/shina-br3-2.jpg the top looked like a sports bra]], and her alternate outfit in Primal Furry was a [[http://i.imgur.com/BizUOg9.png sleeveless crop top and hot pants]].
* Mrs. Arrow, married to Super Arrow, from the ''VideoGame/FZero'' series was introduced in ''VideoGame/FZero X'' with a physique of a bodybuilder. In ''GX'', she showing off said physique. Her {{Idle Animation}}s at the Settings screen, and [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MsdjhC7EPI her post-race interviews,]] is her flexing her one of her arms. In [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyfymoXQx_o her ending video]] she's driving an audience wild doing bodybuilder poses in a bikini.
* Black Widow from ''[[VideoGame/SaturdayNightSlamMasters Ring of Destruction: Slam Masters II]]'', though it's at the very end of her storyline. For some unknown reason her gender is ambiguous for most of the game because she's already extremely muscular physique, and [[http://static4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110116023408/capcomdatabase/images/c/c0/SM2BlackWidow.png full-body costume]] which gives her a [[http://www.fightabase.com/images/chars/game/blackw_rd.jpg manly looking upper body]]. Though she still has a prominent hourglass figure which the costume on. [[http://www.vazcomics.org/mamend/png/ring0059.png When she takes it off]] at the end of her story she's shown to be undeniably feminine looking and sounding, wearing leotard cut to resemble a training bra and thong.
* [[WildMan Rila]] [[NatureHero Estansia]] from the FightingGame ''VideoGame/{{Breakers}}'' is an eccentric wild woman a who fights in [[LeotardOfPower a sleeveless backless leotard]] and greaves, which show off her buff physique and ample chest.
* Most depictions of Raijin, the [[ShockAndAwe thunder god]] from JapaneseMythology portray him as fat or muscular but always with a demonic face. In ''[[VideoGame/MuramasaTheDemonBlade Muramasa: The Demon Blade]]'', Raijin [[GenderFlip is instead presented as a woman]] with an absurdly muscular body. She also has the complimentary bust size, a huge rear, massive thighs, and [[{{Stripperiffic}} little clothing]] to help showcase it. [[TinyGuyHugeGirl By comparison]], her [[GodCouple romantic partner]] [[BlowYouAway Fujin]] looks like an imp.
* Akiko Daimon from ''VideoGame/TaisenHotGimmickForever'', a mahjong game where defeating an opponent gives the player the option to punish them which, male or female, usually involves the character [[StripPoker having to strip]]. Akiko is a muscular girl wearing just a sports bra and thong and is also a member of her school's bodybuilding club. For her punishment the player can have her do bench presses topless, or flexing her biceps which causes her [[WardrobeMalfunction sports bra to tear]].
* Meryl Silverburgh, as of ''VideoGame/MetalGearSolid4GunsOfThePatriots''. She made her first appearance in VideoGame/{{M|etalGearSolid}}GS1 where she was slender but in VideoGame/{{M|etalGearSolid4GunsOfThePatriots}}GS4 she's a lot sturdier with broad shoulders and well built arms, both traits are shown off when she's in her wedding dress getting married to Johnny, who's been in love with her since [=MGS=]1.
* [[http://www.fightersgeneration.com/characters4/untitledL.JPG Rachel]] from ''VideoGame/BattleArenaToshinden 3''. She's Tracy's [[SeparatedAtBirth long lost twin sister]] but aside from [[AmbiguouslyBrown skin color]] both fighters look radically different. Tracy is lanky and petite while Rachel is very bulky (least her upper body), and sports a pair of breasts that are on the verge of spilling out of her [[{{Stripperiffic}} one-size-too-small]] [[OfCorsetsSexy bustier]].
* The female Barbarian from ''VideoGame/DiabloIII'' a red-headed warrior who is incredible tall and muscular much like her male counterpart. The two main differences are that she's a lot younger than the male barbarian, who's an old man, and her armor sets, especially in the official art for the game tends to be slightly more sexualized. Of course the latter two make her no less of an [[http://i.imgur.com/AlR0syC.jpg intimidating looking woman]].
* Almost every MMORPG or HighFantasy RolePlayingGame that features female orcs as a playable characters will usually depict them in the concept art as extremely muscular, usually [[BoobsOfSteel busty]], and wearing more or less ([[{{Stripperiffic}} usually less]]) clothing than their human counterparts. The downside being that they usually have [[{{Butterface}} faces that may]] detract some people. The prominent examples come from ''VideoGame/WorldOfWarcraft'' ([[http://img600.imageshack.us/i/femaleorcwar800x600.jpg/ see here]]) and ''{{Lineage 2}}'' ([[http://img412.imageshack.us/i/225390.jpg/ see here]]).
* Angela Belti from ''VideoGame/PowerInstinct'' was originally meant to be a BrawnHilda in the first game, as she was extremely muscular, drawn with a [[http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/piangela-1_2909.png very manly face,]] and even [[LarynxDissonance voiced by a male employee of Atlus]]. This changed in the sequel and games onward were she is drawn with more feminine features while still retaining her [[http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090801164821/powerinstinct/images/e/ef/Angela_bonnou.jpg muscular physique]], has a female voice (albeit a deep one) and given a love interest, Sahad.
* Aveline Vallen from ''VideoGame/DragonAgeII'' is tall, has muscular arms, and broad shoulders. Most people find her her intimidating and off-putting, with the exception of her first and potentially second husband. Also, PlayerCharacter Hawke can try to romance her, but [[JustFriends she'll shot Hawke down]].
* The Amazon from ''VideoGame/DragonsCrown'' is a blonde [[AnAxeToGrind axe wielding warrior]] who fights in a literal ChainmailBikini that seems one size too small. While she's muscular all over, her legs are especially big and most of her stances and movements are design to [[ShesGotLegs emphasis them]].
* Several games that allow for a [[CharacterCustomization Create-A-Character]] feature usually provide players with the option to create Amazonian Beauties of their own.
** For example, ''VideoGame/RumbleRoses XX'' has a character editor that allows the player to determine parameters such as weight by performing certain actions in a match. One of these sliders allowed you to muscle up the girls.
* In ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVII'', when Cloud cross-dresses, he is mistaken for one of these by a couple background [=NPCs=]. In the words of one of them: "Ooh, hard! You work out?"
* [[Franchise/{{Metroid}} Samus Aran]] -- originally. Official art in 1994 described her as "strong and muscular," she stood 6'3" and weighed in at 198 pounds, and when her suit came off at the end of ''VideoGame/SuperMetroid'' revealing her wearing a cropped halter top and panties, she certainly looked it. Since then, in most installments, her muscles have vanished entirely. The sole exception being the Japanese version ''VideoGame/MetroidFusion'' where beating the game on hard in under two hours gets the player [[http://i.imgur.com/ECCbIJT.png?1 an image]] of a very buff Samus wearing the same revealing outfit ''VideoGame/SuperMetroid''.

* Zona from ''Webcomic/TheChallengesOfZona'' is a muscular and tall warrior woman who wears a top that shows off a lot of {{underboob|s}} and a lion cloth. It's was love at first sight for the protagonist, who describes her as a "a six-foot plus goddess with a Ms. Olympia body".
* Almost every superheroine in ''Webcomic/GrrlPower'' with some standouts mentions below. Most of them are at least athletically built and busty and there's a lot of {{fanservice}} that shows off that fact. The main character is one of the few superheroines who has neither of those traits and is very self-conscious about it.
** Maxima is a tall, muscular [[ChromeChampion golden skinned superheroine]] who is extremely sensitive about her good looks because she feels men treat her like an exotic sex doll.
** Anvil is taller and even more muscular, but still attractive enough to get hit on by one of her teammates. He even mentions her large muscles as an attractive feature. She provide a bit of fanservice, as one of the wallpapers for the series focuses on her sunbathing.
* Heather from ''Webcomic/{{Spinnerette}}'' got a SuperPhysique complete with large breasts and "girl abs" after getting into a FreakLabAccident that gave her four extra arms and some superpowers. She decides to become the title heroine, and fights crime with an outfit that covers most of her body but still manages to be very revealing due to its [[SensualSpandex form-fitting nature]] so her muscles and curves are quite visible.
* In ''Webcomic/SlimyThief'' there's the tall, muscular, ChainmailBikini-wearing [[http://slimythief.com/enter-the-amazon/ Amazon]] who's a recurring character. Later on in a {{Crossover}} arc, the character Red is introduced. She's another tall, muscular female warrior, but goes even further by being bare-breasted the whole time.
* [[http://www.dcmstudiosonline.com/ David C. Matthews]] has [[http://www.dcmstudiosonline.com/more_char/index.html quite a few of 'em]] as leads to a couple of his webcomics. All of them hyper-muscular yet busty with feminine faces. They're either scantly-clad or even if they are wearing something modest, it's always [[FormFittingWardrobe depicted as very tight fitting]]. For starters, there's Webcomic/{{Tetsuko}} (which contains a lot explicit nudity), ''[[http://www.dcmstudiosonline.com/satinsteele/index.html Satin Steele]]'', and ''[[http://www.dcmstudiosonline.com/dyna/ Dyna the Damsel Dynamo]]''.
** This trope is {{deconstructed|Trope}} in the case of ''Webcomic/{{Tetsuko}}'' and ''Satin Steele''. Despite being the titular characters and MsFanservice of their respective comics, not everyone finds either protagonist very attractive, [[NoGuyWantsAnAmazon especially their love interests]]. Tetsuko's boyfriend threatens to leave her [[NoGuyWantsAnAmazon because she's more muscular than him]], while Satin's boyfriend likens having sex with her to "[[BrawnHilda fucking a man with tits]]." Though, it's common in the genre to cast the first boyfriend as a StrawCritic who doesn't find women with muscles appealing.

* Zuzana Spears aka [[http://www.youtube.com/user/charliejames1975 "The Bodyrock Chick."]] While her clothing style isn't outside the realm of athletic gear, you'd be hard pressed to find her wearing anything that doesn't show off her [[BareYourMidriff abs]] and sizable cleavage and that isn't [[SensualSpandex extremely snug]] from the waist down. Couple that with the [[MaleGaze provactive angles]] all of her videos are shot in.
* Hippolyta of the WhateleyUniverse is six feet tall and muscular. She wears tight, skimpy outfits even though she doesn't like guys ogling her. (She does, however like [[LesYay girls]] ogling her. That's why she is in Poe cottage.)

[[folder:Western Animation]]
* While the [[ClassyCatBurglar Black Cat]] in the ComicBook/SpiderMan comics is usually traditionally femininely shaped, in ''WesternAnimation/SpiderManTheAnimatedSeries''', thanks to SuperSerum similar to the one used in the creation of CaptainAmerica, she gains the ability to morph into a taller, buffer, uninhibited FemmeFatale with increased human reflexes and strength clad in a [[FormFittingWardrobe skin-tight]] SpyCatsuit (and of course like the comics, [[DatingCatwoman there was chemistry between her and Spider-Man]]).
* ''WesternAnimation/JusticeLeagueCrisisOnTwoEarths'' features Mary Marvel's EvilCounterpart from an AlternateUniverse, Superwoman, who is shown with a muscular yet curvaceous build. Between this, [[LeotardOfPower her]] [[CombatStilettos outfit]], [[TheBaroness the dominatrix-like attitude]], her [[FauxAffablyEvil unrepentant]] [[AxCrazy insanity]], {{U|nresolvedSexualTension}}ST-''[[TakeThatKiss oozing]]'' [[VillainousCrush scenes]] with Batman, the DesignatedGirlFight with Wonder Woman, and [[HeyItsThatVoice the voice of Gina Torres]] (well-known for playing [[Series/{{Firefly}} two other]] [[WesternAnimation/JusticeLeague warrior women]]), she's a bona-fide Amazonian Beauty.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBHfvIWRxe4 The]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uktOkpqtL3o episode]] "Beef" from ''WesternAnimation/DaveTheBarbarian'' has Princess Candy trying to woo away a potential suitor from the tall and muscular [[MeaningfulName Bicepia]] the Warrior Woman by eating [[AppliedPhlebotinum magic broccoli]] to gain a similar figure. However, this begins to go out the window as Candy digests more and more broccoli; she grows more and more buff, but her [[{{Gonk}} beauty]] and [[DumbMuscle brains]] quickly get thrown onto the backburner.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dKTUtZtZgk "Worth]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BANyvClkmqQ Her Weight]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yO3H_Uds4E0 In Gold,"]] from the ''Film/PoliceAcademy'' [[AnimatedAdaptation cartoon]] gives us the the aptly-named [[PunnyName Phoenix Amazona]], [[WorldsStrongestMan The World's Strongest]] [[GenderFlip Woman]]. Also pulls triple-duty as a GeniusBruiser (seeing as she's the mastermind ''and'' muscle behind a gold smuggling operation) and StatuesqueStunner. [[EvilIsSexy Oh, and she's a criminal.]] In fact, in a showing of {{genre savv|y}}iness, Amazona, knowing that the cops are on her tail, [[FemmeFatale actually invokes her appeal]] to string along the cowardly and smitten-at-first-sight Carl Sweetchuck, flirting with him (including addressing him by pet names and showing up for a "date" in [[ShowSomeLeg a slinky]] {{purple|IsPowerful}} dress) and sending him on errands to unknowingly do the dirty work for her as she tries to cover her tracks.
* In ''WesternAnimation/{{Futurama}}'', the Amazonians, from the planet Amazonia, are a race of gigantic, muscular, [[NubileSavage scantily-clad tribal women]]. There were male Amazonians but they all died out due to [[OutWithABang crushed pelvises from sex]], or, as they call it, snu-snu. Both Fry and Zapp were equally horrified and [[AllMenArePerverts turned on]] when they received the sentence of [[OutWithABang death by snu-snu]]. Kif is just plain horrified.
* In ''WesternAnimation/BillAndTedsExcellentAdventures'' it's revealed that the arms of the famed [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venus_de_milo Venus de Milo]] sculpture were actually very muscular because the sculptor based the statue off his very muscular amazonian girlfriend whom he is smitten over because of her muscles and strength. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJ11qtcwMIs Bill and Ted are pretty impressed as well]].
* In ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons'', Homer buys a valuable weight-lifting set from a garage sale, and Marge develops anxiety problems due to an encounter with a mugger. Marge eventually starts using the weight-lifting set and gains not only her confidence back, but also a nice muscular body. Homer approves of it at first ("It's like I'm married to {{Shaft}}!"), but then Marge gets hooked on steroids and grows obsessed with getting stronger, turning her into a violent BrawnHilda.
* In ''WesternAnimation/EekTheCat'', Sharky has a crush on a muscular female "Patriotic Warrior" named "Platinum."
* Korra from ''WesternAnimation/TheLegendOfKorra'' has realistically proportioned athlete's build with a well toned back and arms, and she looks realistically stocky (especially by animated standards). None of this prevents her being considered attractive by at least three male characters in the series.
