* Series/TwentyFours Jack Bauer would like to remind you that he's A FEDERAL AGENT!
** And that he wants everything done... NOW!
** ...because he is RUNNING OUT OF TIME!!!
** DAMMIT!!!
* Lieutenant Starbuck from Series/1978. While he prefers living an easy-life, all emotions go out once he's in the cockpit of a Viper. Or off-world dealing with Cylons, hostile aliens and one very evil DevilInPlainSight. Or playing Triad against a rival.
* The Series/ChouseishinSeries really likes these kinds of main heroes.
** Series/ChouseishinGransazer: Tenma Kudo goes about his job with fiery passion, even though he's a deliveryman. He applies that same level of passion to being a Gransazer, where naturally he's a member of the Flame Tribe.
** Series/ChouseiKantaiSazerX: Takuto Ando starts off very hot-headed and abrasive, as does his EvilCounterpart Blaird. Like Tenma up there, both are fire-themed.
* The Tenth Doctor, from Series/DoctorWho.
** Six as well.
** John Simm's Master. ("Never! Never! Never dying! NEVER DYING! NEVER DYING!")
** Back in the Creator/TomBaker era, Leela embodied this trope. And was awesome for it.
* Josh Nichols from Series/DrakeAndJosh is mostly smart and reasonable, but he also often tends to be quite frantic, overdramatic and temperamental, usually whenever he gets screwed over by Drake.
-->Walter: What's a [=GameSphere=]?\\
Josh: Only the most sophisticating gaming experience ever created by humans. And, it's spherical! SPHERICAL!!
* Series/Friends: The Geller siblings. Ross turns into "Red Ross". His hot bloodedness becomes more apparent when Rachel challenges him to poker.
* Series/GameOfThrones:
** Cersei takes everything personally and responds with streams of barbed remarks and petty revenge.
** Catelyn Stark's MamaBear instincts often override her sense of reason and lead her to brash actions that work against her family in the long run, such as her impromptu capture of Tyrion and her release of Jaime, which were against the interests of both Ned and Robb, respectively.
** Arya gets very openly angry about things she disagrees with in early seasons. As she gets older and endures more traumatic experiences, she slowly learns to restrain it to TranquilFury.
** "Ours is the Fury" are the words of House Baratheon and it isn't just a simple reference to their hereditary lordship of the Stormlands. One of the few traits that unite all the scions of that House (including Robert's bastard son Gendry and Stannis' daughter Shireen) despite their myriad personalities is stubbornness and that they are very headstrong and passionate about pursuing their set goals and things that don't go their way, despite the consequences and what others tell them. It was only a matter of time and circumstance before this would put them at lethal odds with each other.
** Oberyn is enraged and ready to fight at the slightest insult even if he does remain calm and collected on the outside.
** Brandon Stark, to the point where he was known, in the books, as the Wild Wolf.
** Mossador is very eager to punish the Great Masters for the life of slavery he lived.
* Series/Heroes: Peter Petrelli pulls out his powers when he's pissed off.
* Not much in Franchise/KamenRider, but some of them are veritably HotBlooded. Especially Kuuga and Momotaros/Den-O Sword Form.
** Series/KamenRiderFourze is described as such is so Hot blooded it almost bleeds into Large Ham territory. Fans Theorize that the reason he tends to shed ManlyTears every now and then is because he is young and cannot properly control those emotions. Given the head writer previously worked on Anime/TengenToppaGurrenLagann, this is absolutely no surprise.
* Prince Arthur from Series/Merlin 2008. Whether it's sword-fighting, jousting, protecting Camelot, or falling in love, this guy does not do things by half.
* Series/TheLordOfTheRingsTheRingsOfPower: Galadriel displays impatience and persistence in getting her way, usually forgoing restraint and diplomacy for a direct approach. Feanor would be proud of her.
* Series/MidnightSun2016: Kahina is a driven, dedicated person who has earned many awards for her work as a detective as a result. However, it also means she has a temper which erupts in moments of stress.
* Junior from Series/Pizza sure has a lot of energy for a apprentice chef.
** Speaking of Andrew Ausage, his character Sole Umuga has this amount of energy with a HairTriggerTemper.
** And yes, Junior from Series/Housos.
** Paul Fenech's characters (Pauly Falzoni, Mario Fenech and Franky Falzoni) sure is hot blooded.
* Series/ThePractice ran on this trope. Bobby Donnell and Eugene Young were the front-runners, but most of the others did not run far behind. It was a rare courtroom scene that didn't contain one of them screaming at a witness... or the prosecutor... or the judge.
* Common in ProfessionalWrestling; the two most famous examples are Wrestling/HulkHogan and Wrestling/StoneColdSteveAustin. The Wrestling/UltimateWarrior was so hot blooded that he came off as insane. Listen to one of the Warrior's interviews where he would rant and rave about crap no one (including the people working for WWF) could understand.
** The real life wrestler Warrior (That's his legal name, by the way) once went to a [=UConn=] seminar, and screamed lines like "Queering don't make the world work," and causing a near riot through his HotBlooded insanity.
** He also, within two days of Heath Ledger's death was referring to him in public as 'Leather Hedger', although what he meant by that is, as always, anybody's guess.
** The absolute insanity that was the "Macho Man" Wrestling/RandySavage.
* In the HBO TV series Series/Rome, Mark Antony.
* David Starsky from Series/StarskyAndHutch: impulsive and outspoken, affectionate and protective, passionate about every whimsical interest and exciting idea and opportunity that comes his way, inclined to make colorful, intimidating threats, and in possession of a notoriously ferocious temper and a tendency to back it up with a swift left hook to the jaw of whoever pissed him off. On occasion, he intentionally pushes this up to eleven to manipulate a perp in a GoodCopBadCop routine. However, it's actually when he calms down that things really start to get dangerous.
* In Series/StarTrekDeepSpaceNine, there is nothing Kira Nerys does that she does not do with every ounce of energy she possesses. On the very rare occasions we see her go into TranquilFury mode, things break. Like people. And buildings. And occasionally fleets of enemy ships.
** General Martok, as a Klingon, is kind of expected to do this, but really, his every word sounds like a triumphant speech. Actor J.G. Hertzler invoked this trope during his audition, throwing a chair against the wall and losing a fingernail in the process. He impressed the Deep Space Nine higher-ups so much that they brought Martok back as a recurring character.
* Ken Kurenai from Series/SuperRobotRedBaron. However, his much goofier ally Inspector Ippei Kumano ends up surpassing him in the passion and hot blood department. He's a bit more aggressive in battle, too (as his last name implies).
* Virtually every Red Ranger in Franchise/SuperSentai. (Dekaranger's Ban takes it up to eleven, to the point that you wonder how -- or if -- he even sleeps.) Reds are powered by screaming, and going in without a plan because "justice is on our side!" is sometimes a deeply-held philosophy, with the point of an episode or two being Red proving to a more serious character that you don't need to waste time thinking, you just charge in. When the screaming begins, you know the FoeTossingCharge is coming! (Franchise/PowerRangers is different, preferring the OrdinaryHighSchoolStudent.)
** Franchise/PowerRangers Reds are less likely to be this, but there are exceptions, such as Jason. He's not so bad out of costume, but most of his morphed dialogue is shouted.
** Series/BakuryuuSentaiAbaranger takes this up to eleven as well... The name is translated as "Explosive Dinosaur Squadron Rampage Ranger"!
** Ninjaman from Series/NinjaSentaiKakuranger. Especially when somebody calls him Aonisai (means Blue Squirt; has been rendered as "Bluehorn" and "Little Boy Blue" also).
-->Ninjaman: I hate when people call me that! Explosion of anger! *transforms to Samuraiman*
** The entire cast of Series/ZyudenSentaiKyoryuger, although natch, [=KyoryuRed=] is usually the loudest and bravest.
* Damon from Series/TheVampireDiaries. He is passionate, reckless and impulsive.
* Vyvyan, Mr. Balowski, occasionally Mike and especially Rick from Series/TheYoungOnes.
