* At ''[=WrestleMania=] I'', UsefulNotes/MuhammadAli, who had retired from boxing a few years earlier due to age and early Parkinson's, was met with massive applause when he arrived to serve as guest referee for the main event.
--> '''Vince:''' Muhammad Ali, [[RetiredBadass The Greatest!]] Stepping through the ring ropes, to a standing ovation!
* The match between The Wrestling/UltimateWarrior and Macho Man Wrestling/RandySavage at ''[=WrestleMania=] VII'', where the loser would have to retire, was one of the best of either man's career. The stakes were huge, the match was amazing, and what happened after the match was one of the most heartwarming things in WWF history. For those who don't know, a bruised and beaten Savage was being assaulted [[TheStarscream by his own valet]] Sensational Wrestling/SherriMartel, but is saved by his former manager Wrestling/MissElizabeth whom he hadn't been associated with since his heel turn two years before. The two reunite, and for the first time, are shown on screen as a romantic couple.
* ''[=WrestleMania=] XX'':
** The end of the opening video package, with Shane holding his one month old son Declan and Vince looking ever the proud grandfather.
** After Wrestling/ChrisBenoit wins the World Heavyweight Championship, [[HeterosexualLifePartners his life long friend]] Wrestling/EddieGuerrero (the WWE Champion) came into the ring to congratulate him and the two [[ManHug share a hug]], shedding TearsOfJoy as confetti is dropped from the ceiling.
* ''[=WrestleMania=] XXX'':
** [[Wrestling/BryanDanielson Daniel Bryan's]] victory in the main event, at long last becoming the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, celebrating with his sister and his niece, [[TearsOfJoy with tears in his eyes]].
*** A combo on this one. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RAhxhIHdpM Connor "The Crusher" Michalek]], a terminally ill 8 year-old, wanted to meet Bryan, his favorite wrestler. Vince [=McMahon=] made it happen, inviting him and his father to ''[=WrestleMania=] XXX'' and giving them front row tickets. The first thing Bryan did after leaving the ring was walk over and give Connor a hug and tell him that he meant a lot to him.
*** Overlapping with tearjerker; Connor died only a few weeks after the event.
*** Overlapping with tearjerker AND awesome; in 2015, Connor was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as the first ever recipient of the Warrior award, to be given to those who display strength and perseverance and live with courage and compassion, embodying the spirit of The Ultimate Warrior. Daniel Bryan himself inducted Connor, along with Warrior's widow, Dana Warrior.
** Apparently, when Undertaker lost to Lesnar, security officials consoled crying children by telling them that the match "didn't count."
** The Rock, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan, the three biggest faces in WWE history, toasting each others careers at the start of the event. Especially poignant, as it was only the second time the three had been in the ring together - They previously took part in a three-on-two handicap match on an episode of ''Raw'' prior to ''[=WrestleMania X8=]'', when Hogan was still part of the [[Wrestling/NewWorldOrder nWo]], so the segment marked the first time that the trio had in the same ring in their iconic face personas.
* ''[=WrestleMania=] 31'': [[Wrestling/BryanDanielson Daniel Bryan]] being applauded by a bevy of former Intercontinental Champions backstage after the Ladder Match - including, in a bit of Retroactive {{Tear Jerk|er}}ingness, Wrestling/RoddyPiper's last ''[=WrestleMania=]'' AND WWE TV appearance.
--> "Thank you so much."
* ''[=WrestleMania=] 32'':
** Wrestling/ZackRyder's dad hopping the rail and hugging his son after Z won the Intercontinental Championship. Also, Zack's {{Ascended Fanboy}}hood going full circle after getting to have a photo backstage with Scott Hall and the Championship title (Zack had shared a story about watching the ''[=WrestleMania=] X'' Ladder Match between Hall and Shawn Michaels). Remember that Ryder wasn't even supposed to be in the match (replacing Adrian Neville 3 weeks before the show began when Neville sprained his ankle in a match against Chris Jericho), making the win unexpected on so many levels. Also, the reason he was champion? ''The other seven contestants'' in the match told the writers that Zack Ryder deserved a happy moment. "You Deserve It" doesn't even begin to describe this.
** Shane [=McMahon=] being accompanied to the ring by his sons.
** The huge pops for Wrestling/ShawnMichaels, Wrestling/MickFoley, and especially Wrestling/StoneColdSteveAustin. It shows how much they are still loved despite all being retired for years.
* ''[=WrestleMania=] 33'':
** Wrestling/JohnCena proposes to Nikki Bella after their victory over Miz and Maryse. She said yes. Even a lot of the anti-Cena crowd was cheering.
** The absolute reverence shown towards Wrestling/TheUndertaker by the fans at the conclusion of Wrestlemania 33. For just a moment all of the endless [[CreatorsPet hatred]] for Wrestling/RomanReigns vanished as the fans were barely even able to get a Thank You Taker chant going, instead many simply falling silent in respect... [[TearJerker if not openly crying.]]
* ''[=WrestleMania=] 34'':
** Braun Strowman's tag team partner is a 10 year old fan he picked at random out of the stands. Throughout the whole match the kid is visible quivering with excitement at being so close to the action and he even gets to tag in for a brief moment before tagging Braun back in. And the icing on the cake? That kid gets to go home the ''youngest person to ever hold a title belt in WWE.''
** The booking was bizarre. It was waaaaaay out of left field. Having a son of a WWE referee to be Braun's tag partner may not be well received. But during the main event, the (admittedly, often hostile) crowd chanted "WE WANT NICHOLAS", cementing that at least the crowd received the moment wonderfully.
** Asuka seemed almost elated at finding someone who could beat her, and was crying with emotion as she and Charlotte shared a tender hug after the match.
* ''[=WrestleMania=] 35'':
** After enduring many setbacks and 11 years worth of being looked over, Wrestling/KofiKingston ''finally'' wins the WWE Title in a match that had nearly everyone in [=MetLife=] Stadium cheering for him, including the faces of [=SmackDown=] backstage. Upon the match ending, [[Wrestling/TheNewDay Big E and Xavier Woods]] ''immediately'' rushed to the ring [[TrueCompanions to celebrate their friend finally winning the big one]] while bringing in his sons, as all of them shed TearsOfJoy while the crowd cheered him on.
** Despite not winning his farewell match, Wrestling/KurtAngle goes out on a high note, telling the production crew to play his music one last time to the now-endearing chants of "You Suck" from 80 thousand plus with Kurt hugging his family at ringside.
** Wrestling/RomanReigns had his first one-on-one match in about six months after leaving to treat his chronic leukemia. After besting Wrestling/DrewMcIntyre, Reigns can be seen with his face in the corner, hiding tears of joy at the fact he could be there to compete in front of 80 thousand fans.
** Curt Hawkins [[ThrowtheDogABone snapping his 269 match losing streak]] by winning the Raw Tag Team Titles with Zack Ryder in front of their home state of New York, and the elation on their faces must be seen to believed.
** What's one of the first things that Wrestling/BeckyLynch does after winning the RAW ''and'' Smackdown Women's Championships? Ask where her ma is.
** The fact that most of the fan favorites to win this year actually ''did.'' Rollins, Kofi and Becky were fully supported by the crowd that night, and to the delight of the crowd, they won.
* ''[=WrestleMania=] 36'': In the lead-up to the event, which had the atypical detail of being held without a live audience due to the 2020 coronavirus pandemic, there was a not insubstantial portion of the fandom who said that no matter how the event turned out to be without a live crowd, if Drew really was going to win the WWE Championship for the first time at the event, he really should have gotten the opportunity to do so in front of thousands of cheering fans, lamenting that something that's outside human control would deprive him from it. When Drew did indeed win the title at the event, after his win he turned to the camera and said "Thank you," seemingly indicating that he listened to those fans and thanked them for their support.
* ''[=WrestleMania=] 37'':
** Being the first ever event that WWE held in front of a live crowd since the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic, it was clear just performing in front of screaming fans again meant a lot to everyone, and Vince could barely hold back his joy welcoming the crowd back to [=WrestleMania=].
** The start of night 1 was delayed because of severe weather in the Tampa area. To fill time, they had an assortment of talent run unscripted backstage promos. Besides showing off just how good they can be on the mic, with Wrestling/KevinOwens particularly standing out, it's hard not to see the absolute joy they got from it.
** Throughout the tag team match with Damien Priest and Bad Bunny versus Miz and Morrison, you can tell the audience is on Bad Bunny's side in his debut match and he shows off that he has the passion and talent to become a wrestler.
** Even before the bell rang for their historic main event, Wrestling/SashaBanks and Bianca Belair could barely hold their tears back knowing they're making history and inspiring many black women like them all over the world. And after an emotional match, Bianca achieves her dream and wins the Smackdown Women's Title to much appreciation from the crowd, as she could barely hold back her TearsOfJoy while she and husband Montez Ford celebrated.
** After the match, it was shown even while she was recovering from the pain on the outside, Sasha could not hold back her smile as if she knew even in defeat, she made history and was proud of what she and Bianca achieved that night.
** While the match between [[Wrestling/BrayWyatt The Fiend]] and Wrestling/RandyOrton was mostly creepy business as usual, it did have a surprisingly sweet moment when during the match, The Fiend yelled out "YEAH YEAH YEAH!", one of the catchphrases of the late Brodie Lee, aka his former Wyatt Family stablemate Wrestling/LukeHarper as a tribute to his old friend, and the crowd showed their appreciation for the moment.
** The triple threat between Wrestling/RomanReigns, Wrestling/{{Edge|Wrestler}}, and Wrestling/DanielBryan was basically made of heartwarmth. That such a matchup could even happen is nothing short of a miracle. Edge and Bryan had both made career comebacks after injuries that not only should have kept them from ever wrestling again, but could have very well killed them, while Roman had come back from beating leukemia ''twice''. For Edge specifically, it was 10 years to the day from when he relinquished the title and announced his retirement. Daniel's storyline was a callback to the Yes Movement and his fairytale run at [=WM30=]. Roman, after being ridiculed for years for being Vince's pet and a boring babyface, went in as a truly dominant heel, and when he won got a nuclear amount of ''actual'' heat instead of [[XPacHeat the X-Pac variety]]. All this as the capstone to the first event with fans in the crowd in 13 months.
* ''[=WrestleMania=] 38'':
** During the roll call for the year's Hall of Fame Inductees, pretty much the whole stadium cheers loudly when Wrestling/TheUndertaker enters, and you can tell by his face that seeing this many fans show their respect means a lot to him. After having his send-off at Survivor Series 2020 be without fans, this truly felt like The Deadman's true last hurrah.
** Wrestling/CodyRhodes, despite his role in founding WWE's [[Wrestling/AllEliteWrestling biggest rival today]] and the XPacHeat during his last months in AEW, is given quite the ovation upon his return, and his face upon seeing the audience welcome him back is quite the sight. And during the match, he even gets to pay tribute to [[Wrestling/DustyRhodes his father]] by doing the Bionic Elbow as part of the ending sequence of his match. The fact that the crowd completely marked out when Cody started the punch combo and one guy yelled, "Bionic Elbow!" showed how much his father was loved.
** The sheer love the people have for Wrestling/StoneColdSteveAustin is something else, as despite knowing well that the impromptu match he'd have with [[Wrestling/KevinSteen Kevin Owens]] wouldn't be a masterpiece like in his best years, they were still fully behind him and popped for every move he did as if he never stopped wrestling.
*** For Owens, despite soaking all the heel heat that night and later losing the impromptu No Holds Barred match, it's a clear wish fulfillment for him to be able to have a proper scrap with his idol, moreso via the Main Event on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
** Sasha Banks finally getting a win at [=WrestleMania=], something that has alluded her since her first [=WrestleMania=] 32. The moment she wins, her face says it all, as she is near tears of finally getting a moment of victory, in becoming Women's Tag Team Champions, alongside fellow fan favorite, Naomi.
** Pat [=McAfee=] astounding performance being capped with Michael Cole supporting him by cheering him on and shouting "For the Brand!" (Pat's catchphrase) upon seeing his commentary partner on the grandest stage of them all. Better yet, the ''entire'' experience is one for him, who has been a wrestling fan since he was a child, getting to have a match at the biggest night of year, fight Vince, chug beers with Stone Cold Steve Austin and even becomes a recipient to a Stone Cold Stunner (not to mention have a memetic worthy scene of him still chugging beers while on the ground).
* ''[=WrestleMania=]'' 39:
** Rey's match was nothing short of a tribute to Eddie Guerrero. The night before his match, he brought back Eddie's old WCW stable, Latino World Order. And his entrance included him and Snoop Dogg riding into the ring with a low rider and the entrance theme even playing ''Viva la Raza'' to a loud and uproaring crowd. Doubly meaningful because this ''[=WrestleMania=]'' and Eddie's final one (21) was held in Hollywood.
** Bianca Belair's entrance had a young girl group of gymnasts and contortionists perform with Bianca even cheering on the lead contortionist. Becomes more heartwarming, and tear-jerking, when one takes into account that the lead contortionist lost her mother earlier that day.
** Before Cody Rhodes enters the ring, he embraces not only his family but also Brodie Lee Jr. aka -1, the son of the late John Huber, aka WWE's Luke Harper/AEW's Mr. Brodie Lee, and gave the young Hubert his belt, considering he is an idol to Brodie.
* ''[=WrestleMania=]'' 40
** During the six-tag team ladder match, #DIY and Awesome Truth are about to scuffle before [[DumbassHasAPoint Truth]] has an idea: they each take a tag team championship for themselves. It doesn't work out (while Awesome Truth would ultimately pick up the RAW title, A-Town Down Under got the [=SmackDown=] ones) but it really shows Truth's kindness towards "Regeneration X".
** Speaking of which, R-Truth being the one to unhook the RAW Tag Team Championships. At age 52, an age when most wrestlers are usually part-timers or hung up their boots, he gets a victory at the grandest stage of them all, giving an AA to Damian Priest to cement that he's done with the Judgment Day to a standing ovation. EarnYourHappyEnding indeed. At the same time #DIY helped clear the ring of New Catch Republic, [[TakingYouWithMe even taking themselves out of the process]]. If they weren't getting the belts, they'll make sure Truth got ''his'' Wrestlemania moment. The hug he and Miz have on the ladder is as if Miz is happy for his partner for finally getting his chance to shine.
** Although he fought against Jimmy and was betrayed by him after a fake apology, Jey makes it clear that he still loves his brother and hopes that one day, they can both fight side by side again.
** Sami Zayn defeating the longest running Intercontinental Champion Gunther in front of his wife and son makes an already impressive moment even more heartwarming. But [[https://youtu.be/I4SEzgvs6qk?si=_3wYD9qCKgym-gax this post match interview with his family]] will melt your heart.
*** Special to note, before the IC title match even began, a nervous Sami was shown backstage receiving encouragement and support from his family and Chad Gable, but guess who was standing before him as he was walking up the long corridor to the Gorilla Position? '''[[https://youtube.com/shorts/jRpDc8R5rYA Kevin Owens]].''' Even his longtime best friend-and-rival knows that Sami can and ''will'' win against all odds, just as they did last year in their tag match, and if that doesn't make your heart feel full, nothing will.
** After finally being the one to beat Roman Reigns and end his 1,316 day reign as the Undisputed Universal Champion, Cody Rhodes received a standing ovation from his family, his allies, the announcers, and even from Triple H himself. Cody is clearly touched by the support as he celebrates finishing his story by becoming the new Undisputed Universal Champion.
*** Among those celebrating with him include his [=WarGames=] teammates Jey Uso and Sami Zayn, mutual anti-Bloodline ally Kevin Owens, good friend LA Knight, and mentors/former WWE champions Randy Orton, John Cena, and CM Punk, all happy to see him finally realize his dream.
*** Wrestling/TheUndertaker returning [[BigDamnHeroes to save Cody]] from Wrestling/TheRock is itself heartwarming when considering the context: Taker made his WWF debut in 1990 at Wrestling/SurvivorSeries as part of Wrestling/TedDiBiase's team against the late Wrestling/DustyRhodes, the first match of what would become a legendary career. 34 years later, the Deadman returns the favor by helping Dusty's son finally accomplish his legend at the Grandest Stage of them All.
*** Just listen to Samantha Irvin's voice as she announces Cody winning the WWE Championship. She can barely hold back her emotions as she finally announces her friend becoming champion and it's hard to blame her.
*** A moment for Seth Rollins: During the build to WM 40, Seth came up to Cody Rhodes and told him he'd be the Shield against the Bloodline. And indeed, he does. During Night 1, he took a beating during his match with Cody vs The Rock and Roman Reigns. It literally cost him his title on Night 2, as he lost to [=Drew McIntyre=]. Then during the Cody/Reigns match, he provides a distraction by coming out in his old Shield outfit, and took a chairshot by Reigns for his trouble. But because Reigns went after Rollins instead of Cody, it gave Cody enough time to recover and ultimatetly defeat Reigns. The man took the beating of his life and lost his title, but he truly became Cody's Shield and was a key component for Cody's victory.
*** Jey's own contribution is no less heartwarming. After finally cutting ties with the Bloodline, Cody was the first person who believed that Jey changed for the better, from becoming Undisputed Tag Team Champions with him to inviting him to join Cody's team at Survivor Series. In return, without any prompt from anyone, Jey helped out Cody and Seth even out the playing field against the Bloodline and was the first person to help out Cody when the Bloodline started to interfere during the match. Cody's act of kindness towards Jey and him repaying it can arguably be just as important as Seth becoming Cody's Shield.
*** [[https://youtube.com/shorts/_xIg-zBQ3VM For added Heartwarming:]] Rollins getting helped up to his feet by Kevin Owens, Jey Uso, and Sami Zayn after the match, and later responding to Rhodes' handshake with one of his own.
