* After Hooch actually follows through on Turner's suggestion and is able to ID the man responsible for his owner's death, Turner treats him to cookies, meat, and beer. Hooch doesn't touch them at all, and instead looks rather despondent; Turner only then realises that he must miss his owner as much as he does, and actively starts playing with the dog in direct contrast to his earlier disdain. At this point, Hooch basically becomes ''Turner's'' dog.
