* Pretty much any scene between Wyatt and Josephine, but especially their picnic after their ride, and his proposal to her in the end.
* When Wyatt, Virgil, and Morgan Earp are preparing to confront the Cowboys at the O.K. Corral, Wyatt tells Doc Holliday, "It's not your problem. You don't have to mix up in this," to which a visibly hurt Doc replies, "That is a hell of a thing for you to say to me," and takes up his place next to the brothers.
** Before that, Doc Holiday comes up to the brothers, clearly sick, to talk to them about the mounting escalations of the conflict. Doc's only run afoul of Johnny Ringo, and the other Cowboys steer clear of him. However,the way he talks, he makes it clear that he see's himself as part of the situation with the Earp's and is dead set on resolving it with them.
* In its own way, Doc's explanation for why he sticks with Wyatt:
--> '''Doc Holiday:''' Wyatt Earp is my friend.
--> '''Turkey Creek Jack Johnson:''' Hell, I got lots of friends.
--> '''Doc Holiday:''' (long pause) I don't.
* The friendship between Wyatt and Doc is made entirely of this trope. The level of respect, devotion, and loyalty they have for one another makes it one of the best bromances of the nineties.
* Doubling as awesome, a couple of The Cowboys end up ''quitting'' the gang after Morgan's murder, even approaching Wyatt and his gang and [[InsigniaRipOffRitual throwing off their red sashes as proof of this and disavowing their ways.]] [[ResignationsNotAccepted Sadly, it ultimately gets them viciously killed by the outlaw gang,]] but bless them anyway for seeing the error of their/The Cowboys' ways.
** After seeing the murdered corpse of Fabian, [[DisproportionateRetribution who was killed simply for calling the gang cowards after they robbed him and Josie]] and she tearfully gives them a [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech dressing down over their actions]], Breckenridge (the youngest and least culpable/violent member of the group) is visibly moved by this, squeezes the slain actor's hand and quits the Cowboys on the spot. A DeletedScene even has him hunt down and kill those who were responsible.
** Even better is that the Earps keep their word not to kill anyone who renounced the sash. They even let Sherman [=McMasters=] join them, even if it costs him his life.
