* In general, the great lengths of the eponymous trio's love for each other and their solid friendship is very heartwarming. Rancho is the one who binds the trio together throughout their four years at the college, reaching Farhan and Raju's respective hearts, and encouraging them to face their fears and prioritize their happiness, not just their professional success. Farhan and Raju value their friendship with Rancho so much that a decade later, they're more than ready to move heaven and earth in order to meet him again. And the two are understanding throughout TheReveal of their best friend having had a false identity; they never once doubt his friendship and kindness to them and instead it renews their resolve to continue the search.
** After their PlotMandatedFriendshipFailure due to Virus trying to break the trio apart, Raju reconciles with Rancho after the latter helped save his father. Later, the trio chooses to stay at the hospital to accompany Raju's father, risking being late to the exam.
** [[TearJerker In a sad way]], Raju's suicide attempt. He has two choices: either sell Rancho out, or doom himself to be expelled instead. Unwilling to betray his friend who gives him courage or to let his family down, he committed the unexpected. Farhan and Rancho are understandably upset at the development, but the two never give up facilitating Raju's recovery until he gets better. And the entire "Jaane Nahin Denge Tuhje" ("We Won't Let You Go") sequence is especially heartwarming and heartwrenching if one takes a good look at the translation of the song.
** Farhan and Raju doing their tasks after Rancho did his bet to confess to Pia. Farhan finally convinces his father to let him pursue his own dream for once and reassures him that he will not attempt suicide like Raju did, because he knows that it will do more harm than good not just for himself but for everyone involved. Meanwhile, Raju impresses the company he interviews for with his newfound confidence, and isn't willing to compromise his principles and feelings for the sake of pleasing others.
** And finally the grand reunion between the trio after a decade is this, full stop. After almost three hours of watching the film, witnessing the friendship between the trio during the flashback scenes and how Farhan and Raju are fully accepting of Rancho's deception created by his employers (meaning that Rancho's faith in his friends is handsomely repaid), one can't help but be hopeful at seeing the trio be reunited once again.
* [[TagalongKid Millimeter]] following Farhan, Raju, and Rancho after the trio were caught stealing the answer paper at Virus' office. In general, his friendship with the trio, but especially with Rancho. It's clear that Rancho's kindness to Millimeter and encouraging him to study sticks with him. It does help that Rancho was once just like him until his employer decided to provide him with an opportunity to study, even if he has to pose as his employer's son along the way. [[WhereAreTheyNow And it's shown near the climax that Millimeter has finished his studies and currently serves as Rancho/Phunsukh's secretary]]. He also shows Farhan and Raju that Rancho told his students about his old best friends' respective achievements.
* Rancho rebuilding Joy's spycam. It just makes the scene where they discover from the spycam that Joy had committed suicide all the more [[TearJerker depressing]].
* Rancho and Pia's love story in general. It's clear that if Rancho had not been posing as his employer's son, he might have pursued a relationship with her. They start off on the wrong foot until Rancho intuitively knows why Pia values her mother's old watch so much, which kickstarts Pia's LoveEpiphany.
* Farhan confessing his desire to be a photographer to his parents. When they, especially his father, fear he might attempt suicide like Raju, it turns out Rancho gave Farhan a picture of his parents on their wedding day as a reminder of what could happen to their smiles if he did that. Farhan continues on that even though he might have a smaller house, car and income, he will be happy. His father is so moved, he's willing to return the laptop he initially bought Farhan in exchange for a professional camera, finally willing to support his son’s dreams. They embrace as Farhan's mother happily watches on.
* Rancho confessing to Pia. And also his encouragement to Mona's unborn child just in case his grandfather, Virus, scares him into becoming an engineer. Considering that the child's maternal uncle committed suicide because of Virus's pressuring him, it is quite a sweet remark from Rancho.
* Virus holding his first-born grandson after a harrowing operation in which it was nearly stillborn. For all his unpleasantness, it reminds us that he is really a human being who cares for his family dearly in his own way, and this scene shows a start of his change of outlook. His first words to the baby are full of this:
-->'''Virus:''' What a kick![[note]]Referring to the baby's first kick -- to Rancho's face, no less.[[/note]] Do you want to be a footballer? Be anything you want to be!
* Virus awarding his astronaut's pen to Rancho. After an entire movie of lambasting and antagonizing him ''because'' of his free-spirited, unorthodox methods, Virus is finally forced to admit Rancho is the student deserving of such an honor.
* The graduation. To elaborate: Rancho becoming the Student of the Year, Raju's mother hugging her son, Chatur with his mother and most importantly, [[TookALevelInKindness Virus proudly congratulating Rancho and his bonding with the students]].
* In the present, it's clear that Farhan and Raju live more comfortable and blissful lives, with the former finally becoming a successful photographer and the latter becoming a well-off businessman and HappilyMarried. It is all thanks to Rancho finally convincing them to pursue happiness and that if they chase excellence in accordance of what their hearts want, success will follow.
* Raju convinces Pia to run away from her unhappy wedding, asking her an ArmorPiercingQuestion of if she will commit metaphorical suicide, by turning away from real happiness in favor of pleasing others and feeling afraid to face her own heart. Coming from a person who was once riddled with anxiety and self-esteem issues despite his capacity, and who attempted suicide due to his fear of the future and societal pressure and lived to tell the tale, Raju's words should not be taken lightly. This enables Pia to finally call off the wedding and reunite with her OneTrueLove.
* Pia and Rancho's reunion, most especially when the latter's fantasy of her in a wedding dress while riding in a scooter is like a dream come true to him.
