* The footage of soldiers being reunited with their children during "Vera" in the solo version of the live show.
* At the beginning of [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJERIgkekmg "Goodbye Blue Sky"]], a dove is [[{{Gorn}} messily torn apart from inside out]] by a "bomber bird". At the end of the video, the bomber bird dies. What flies out of the wreckage at the end? [[HopeSpringsEternal A]] [[BookEnds dove]].
* Roger Waters in "Outside the Wall", as he thanks the friends who haven't given up on him yet, and apologizes to those who couldn't deal with him and his shit anymore (those who "stagger and fall").
** Also, the FramingDevice of Roger visiting the graves of his grandfather (who was killed in UsefulNotes/WorldWarI without ever seeing his son) and his father (who was killed in UsefulNotes/WorldWarII without ever seeing his son) for the first time, and showing them what he did with his life: He played music. Specifically, "Outside the Wall". Considering how much of ''Music/TheWall'' came out of that pain, it's a very moving way to come full circle.
** The general message of "Outside the Wall" certainly counts. No matter how mentally or emotionally isolated one may feel, [[YouAreNotAlone there is someone out there who cares and is waiting for them (and possibly helping) to break free of their proverbial walls.]] In live perforamances, seeing the musicians in front of the rubble of the wall in their street clothes is quite moving.
** The song ends with "Isn't this where..." which loops around to "In The Flesh?" and its opening statement of "...We came in?" While to some this could be Nightmare Fuel, when applied to the film and its opening scene this can also have a heartwarming meaning behind it as the opening scene could be interpreted as Pink telling the audience his story as a bettered (albeit bitter) man who has finally torn down his wall in its entirety.
* In live performances of "Mother," the audience cheering the line, "Mother, do you think they'll like this song?" They obviously do.
* After many years of public acrimony between the two, David Gilmour appeared at a Roger Waters concert in 2011 and the two [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26GAP7FAMXU performed "Comfortably Numb" together]]. Sadly, the accord didn't last, and a few years later the two were taking potshots at each other in the press again.
* The entirety of "The Wall Live in Berlin."
** The beginning of the VHS release saw the jubilant mayors of East and West Berlin giving a speech with former RAF Group Captain Leonard Cheshire:\\

-->...Wilkommen und dankommen. Danke Roger...Danke Berlin! I thank you with all my heart for supporting the Memorial Fund. Our goal is 5 pounds for each of the lives lost in the wars of this century, and to use the money for disaster relief. (he produces an old [[https://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/item/object/30015964 trench whistle]]) With this whistle, which once sent men into battle, I'm going to blow it to launch the funds and to start the concert!
