* In the episode "Trouble Shooter!", Bentley has fled from home and spends a few days with Bert and the others. By the end of the episode, due to a misunderstanding, he tries to run away from them, but Cyril Sneer catches him and [[CharacterDevelopment tells him some of the best lines he has ever spoken to anyone and encourages him to go back home and face his mistakes]].
-->'''Cyril''': (''to Bentley'') The point is, the only thing you're running away from is yourself. And that doesn't work, because no matter where you go, there you are. I want to tell you a story about a kid I knew. He ran away once. He thought he could make it on his own without friends. Without parents. Without a home. You know what?\\
'''Bentley''': Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've heard it all before! He ended up poor and homeless, right?\\
'''Cyril''': Wrong! He's a millionaire. But there were a lot of lost and lonely years before he made it. And nice as money is, it can't buy back those years. Am I getting through?\\
'''Bentley''': I... I guess so.\\
'''Cyril''': You might think you're tough and brave running away, but believe me, it takes more courage to face up to your mistakes. Turn back while there's still time. Don't be like the kid in the story, Bentley.\\
'''Bentley''': Was that kid you, Mr Sneer?\\
(''Cyril remains silent while facing away from him. A phone rings, Cyril answers and hands it to Bentley, who finds that the callers are his parents; he starts crying while telling them that he's sorry and loves them. Cyril moves away a few steps and [[ManlyTears starts crying too]]'')
* In "The Family Secret!", we find out that [[spoiler:Cyril Sneer is actually adopted]], and by the end of the episode, Cedric asks him why he didn't tell him, Cyril says that he wanted to, but the passing of time just made it more difficult, and he was afraid of what Cedric would think of [[spoiler:him not being a real Sneer]]. But Cedric simply anwers that it's ok, that for him, [[spoiler:he is the best Sneer he's ever known]]. Cyril thanks him with tears in his eyes.
* In "Join The Club!", Cyril Sneer, having just learned he must destroy his own son's clubhouse to join an exclusive country club, [[ScrewTheRulesImDoingWhatsRight refuses to do so]] and then finds Lisa breaking cigarettes while crying that a friend rejected her for refusing to smoke. The sequence when Cyril strengthens Lisa with a heartfelt pep talk about embracing individuality using his own experience as a lesson is so beautiful with him and Lisa striking a true friendship that puts the twits who rejected them to shame.
* Lisa Raccoon gets her own moment in "Easy Money!" after rescuing Bentley from a flooding cave by scuba diving through a underwater entrance. Wet, tired, but profoundly relieved that her young brother is safe in her arms on the boat home she says:
-->'''Lisa''': Honestly Bentley, I don't know anyone else with a brother like you. Things I have to put up with...\\
'''Bentley''': Yeah, I know. Good thing I got a sister like you.
* The scene of Bert and Bentley bonding in "Stop the Clock!".
* Lisa joining George on stage in "Moving In!", and apologizing for being obnoxious since the family moved.
** Also, Cyril giving the pigs their stuffed rabbits, and giving them their old jobs back.
* The gang throwing a surprise party for Cyril in 'Surprise Attack!', even though he did lock up his own son.
* In "The Intruders!", Cyril sneaks into Cedric's room to talk with him, but Cedric is sound asleep, so Cyril, warmly smiling, pats the sheets and sneaks out again.
* "Courting Disaster!":
** Cyril offering to help Cedric with the cake baking.
** Everyone being happy when they think that Cyril is marrying Lady Baden-Baden.
** Since Lady Baden-Baden is an older woman who often acts quite stuffy, it's unexpected and thus quite striking when she has such sincere and girlish romantic fantasies about Cyril serenading her during the episode's musical number.
** The whole ending of the episode is very sweet. Cyril wins against Knox by catching the biggest pearl ever, so he can marry Lady Baden-Baden. Knox, who had previously revealed that he's been in love with her for many years, admits his defeat and gives his best wishes for the two of them as a married couple. Lady Baden-Baden, noticing that Knox was pretty down, apologizes to Cyril, leaves him and runs to Knox's side, admitting that she cannot ignore Knox's feelings like that and she's actually in love with him, so she's marrying Knox instead of Cyril. Cyril gets kind of shocked for this and lets Knox be the actual winner, congratulates them and leaves the place. Cedric, noticing that his father was actually affected with this turn of events, goes to him and asks him if he's ok. Cyril answers that he tried. That he wanted to win so with this marriage he could give his son a mother he never had. Even if he won, in the end he failed. Cedric tells him that it's ok, that maybe Lady Baden-Baden could have been a good wife for him, but Cedric cannot imagine her as a mother. Then he adds that anyway, what would he need a mother now, if he already has him, his dad. Cyril, moved and happy for his son's words, thanks him and the two of them leave together while Cedric asks him to talk to him about his mother. The Pigs were crying while watching them.
* "A Catered Affair!" sees Mr. Knox and Lady Baden-Baden go through a tiff when Baden-Baden takes on a job at the Blue Spruce Cafe, due to Knox's family believing women should StayInTheKitchen. But when he misunderstands her taking a run with the Historical Society's steam engine as her leaving town, [[RaceForYourLove he rushes to catch up with her and apologizes for his pride and sticking to his family's dated values.]]
-->'''Mr. Knox''': SWEETPEA! DON'T LEAVE ME, ''I '''LOOOOOOVE''' YOU!'' I was wrong, dearest! I see that now! If you wanna work, I'll STAND beside ya ALL the way! But if you leave me on this train, honey...you'll take away my sunshine!
** As the limo is forced to stop at the edge of the tunnel as they make up, we get...
--> '''Lady Baden-Baden''': Oh, Knoxy, you silly ol' romantic darling! It's just an afternoon run with the Historical Society! KNOXY!!! I LOOOOOOOOOVE YOOOOOOUUUU...!!!!!!!!
** Also worth mentioning is Cyril discussing the matter with him during a game of golf (even if he does mention money later into it):
---> '''Cyril Sneer''': The heck with tradition! You can't kiss off a perfectly good marriage because of your pigheaded pride! You're living in the modern world, Knox. A woman has a right to work if she wants! Besides, you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth. You're getting a second income out of it!
* Bert wanting to erect a memorial to Cyril in "Last Legs!" is an extremely kind gesture, especially considering the fact that the last time Bert did something for Cyril, [[FatalMethodActing he almost died]].
* Schaeffer and Melissa complimenting Bert's piloting in "The Raccoons and the Lost Star", as well as Bert complimenting Broo's brave efforts.
* "Mom's the Word!" has one of the first legitimately generous actions from Cyril towards someone other than his son: he donates money to Mrs. Pig to help her rebuild her house.
* It's subtle, but in "Picture Perfect!" Cyril isn't particularly rude to Melissa after she helps Cedric, Snag and the pigs save him, and he's grateful to her after asking if he's alright.
** Even though Snag has a bad temper, he shows his love for Cedric by saving him from a fire, and shows just as much care for Cyril later in the episode after the aardvark gets pinned down by a fallen tree.
* A brief moment before Cedric takes over, but after Cyril falls down the side of a steep hill in "Strictly By the Book!", Bert tries to save him.
** Bert and Cyril apologizing to Cedric for trying to change him.
