'''Original''':

* When Littlefoot and Cera are born. Littlefoot snuggles on his mother's back and Cera immediately cuddles under her parents when she's startled by the thunderstorm.
* During Littlefoot's birth a whole group of critters gather round to see the hatchling. One, a small grey flyer, seems especially touched watching the baby longneck.
* After Littlefoot's mother dies, Littlefoot is comforted by [[OneSceneWonder Rooter]], an old dinosaur who Littlefoot runs into. Bonus points for Rooter being voiced by the narrator of the film. Though Rooter doesn't care for Littlefoot at first and asks why he is crying for he doesn't look physically hurt, Littlefoot explains he lost his mother and Rooter immediately softens his demeanor, sympathizing with the youngster.
-->'''Rooter:''' Oh, it's not your fault. It's not your mother's fault. Now, you pay attention to old Rooter. It is ''nobody's'' fault. The great circle of life has begun. But you see, not all of us arrive together at the end.
-->'''Littlefoot:''' What'll I do? I miss her so much.
-->'''Rooter:''' Well, then you'll always miss her. But she'll always be with you, as long as you remember the things she taught you. In a way, you'll never be apart, for you are still part of each other.
-->'''Littlefoot:''' My tummy hurts.
-->'''Rooter:''' Well, that, too, will go in time, little fella. ''Only'' in time.
* At one point, a group of baby pteranodons are seen fighting over a cherry. When said cherry gets eaten by a lizard, their [[AmbiguousGender parent]] shows up and gives them an entire leaf full of cherries (one for each of them) and they all fly away together, presumably to go to the Great Valley. This is sweet (and funny) enough as it is, but the ''really'' heartwarming moment is when the blue baby pteranodon sees a visibly upset Littlefoot lying on the ground nearby. What does he do? Offer to share his cherry with him! After arguing over a cherry with his brothers and sisters, the little guy is perfectly willing to share it with a complete stranger in an attempt to comfort him. [[{{Squee}} Awww!]]
* Just the succinct manner Spike is inducted into the pack after hatching is rather cute.
* When all five main characters [[SleepCute fall asleep together in a pile]].
* Littlefoot could let Cera smash her head in while trying to get her own food. Instead he grabs a handful, waits, and throws a portion down after she rams her head against a tree. He'd rather put up with her stubborn and arrogant attitude than let her starve.
* When they all ''finally'' made it to the great valley.
** "We did it! We did it, together!"
** Bonus points for the moment when Ducky introduces Spike to her parents and siblings, who are all more than happy to accept him into their family.
** That, and the part where all the kids are together again just before the end credits roll and share a loving GroupHug.
* The Diana Ross tune "If We Hold On Together", played over the closing credits. It not only sums up the movie's main premise, but is also a message to those watching it to never give up, no matter how hard life may become.
** The song is already heartwarming enough on its own, but becomes even more so in the context of the film. After a lot of the movie's dark and disturbing imagery and the extremely stressful journey the main characters embark on, hearing Ross' soothing voice paired with the hopeful and optimistic lyrics will give you tears of joy.
* Littlefoot and Ducky's first meeting is precious beyond words. He's still in the throes of his grief and initially blows her off, but when he sees that she's in the same boat as he is, he immediately invites her to join him.
** Ducky in general is just a heartfelt, lovable character from start to finish. All of her interactions with the main lot are adorable. She brings Littlefoot out of his HeroicBSOD, she's sympathetic and encouraging to [[LovableCoward Petrie]], she adopts Spike and accepts him as her little brother, and even seems the most willing to hear [[CommanderContrarian Cera's]] side of the story in spite of her obnoxiousness. She is quite clearly TheHeart of the team
* Littlefoot coming back for the others when they decided to go with Cera shows he's a true friend.

'''Sequels''':
* After Littlefoot and his friends are saved from the sinking sand,his grandpa says to him "Your grandma and I just don't want to lose you" and his grandma says "you are all we have" showing how much they love their grandson.
* Mama and Papa Sharptooth snuggling Chomper. You can practically feel their relief at finding their son when they realize this baby Sharptooth is theirs, and it is so sweet and adorable.
** Also, the fact that Littlefoot had grown to care for Chomper, despite him being a Sharptooth (note that ''his own mother'' was killed by one).
** It's even heartwarming when Littlefoot tells Chomper "I don't wanna lose you" when he sees him hopping around the sinking sand, showing how much he's grown to care for the infant sharptooth.
** Everything about Chomper’s parents in general. They are one of the few Sharpteeth that aren’t villains and seem to be on relative good terms with Littlefoot and his friends thanks to their friendship with Chomper; they're on ''such'' good terms with Littlefoot and friends that, when it becomes unsafe for Chomper to stay with them, they send him ''to Littlefoot and his friends in the Great Valley''.
* Because both of them communicate through body language rather than words, Spike takes an immediate liking to Tickles (an early mammal from the 4th movie), which is really adorable. They're the first to find the night flowers together.
** Also from the Fourth movie and relating to Spike, when he finally says his first word: "Ducky". It's even more heartwarming because he does this to wake her up so she isn't eaten by Dil.
* In the 5th movie, Chomper seems positively overjoyed to finally have friends on his island, and does everything in his power to try to keep them safe and happy.
** "We live in a whole other world and we miss it. But we'll always be friends Chomper."
** Ducky happy to meet another swimmer and Elsie being a kindly new friend to the group getting the children home.
* The 6th movie having the overarching plot of Littlefoot and the kids coming to see Grandpa Longneck as every bit worthy of admiration as the heroes they hear of in their bedtime stories. In the end Cera and Littlefoot tell a new bedtime story to the younger children with Grandpa Longneck as the hero.
* Petrie's Uncle Pterano finally owns up to his mistakes, and tells Petrie that he will endure banishment, but will dearly miss him.
** Pterano's attitude towards the children in general is this. He'll kidnap them to ensure victory, [[PapaWolf but don't you dare threaten them with violence in his presence.]] Petrie and Ducky in particular.
** It seems to be a family trait as Petrie's mother really demonstrates her MamaBear side in this film. Her kindly assuring Ducky's mother that her brother would never hurt Ducky counts as well.
** The parting words of the [[AliensAmongUs Rainbow Faces.]]
--> ''Life is not a game, my friend''
-->''For losing or for winning''
-->''And when you think you've reached the end''
-->''It's only the beginning.''
* When the cold snap has made things very dire for the valley, the adults are discussing what to do now that their food has run out. The leader of the ''Stegosaurus'' herd then appears and immediately announces he will take his herd out of the valley to help the natives conserve what they may have left. Even Mr. Threehorn is taken aback by this consideration, and even says nobody was saying they ''had'' to go. The ''Stegosaurus'' leader doesn't budge, however, as he admits his kind eat more than the others do anyway. This earns him a respectful, warm farewell from the valley leaders.
* Ducky finally manages to say she loves Spike after getting mad at him through over half the 8th movie.
* Just the fact that Littlefoot [[DisappearedDad finally meets his dad]].
* Mr. Threehorn calling out Hip's father in the third movie. Especially Mr. Threehorn, since he's clearly reliving his own HeelRealization and apologizing to Cera when saying it.
* The end of the ''The Big Freeze'', where Mama Swimmer saves Spike from drowning in the icy water. If his cry of "Mama!" doesn't get you, the exchange that follows after ("You saved him!" "Of course I did, he's my boy") will.
* In the 8th movie when Ducky tells Cera she feels funny, Cera looks worried and asks if Ducky might be sick. Turns out, she was just feeling angry but it's sweet to see Cera so openly worried for one of her friends.
** Likewise, in the ninth film, while Cera initially vehemently disagrees with Littlefoot about helping Mo, she is visibly unhappy to see Littlefoot's disappointment when her father even more harshly shoots down the idea, and follows him without objection alongside the others when he leaves to take matters into his own hands. Despite her own annoyance with Mo throughout much of the movie, she comforts Littlefoot when it seems he has died protecting them from the Sharptooth Swimmer.
** Cera being the most determined to find Littlefoot after he and his grandparents leave the Great Valley in "The Great Longneck Migration."
* [[GentleGiant Sue]] the gigantic Longneck travelling with Littlefoot and his grandparents is an absolute sweetheart who wishes earnestly that ''she'' could have someone to look up to like most Longnecks look up to her. Then she meets a Longneck even taller than she is!
* Another lovely Longneck is Pat, the CoolOldGuy who meets up with Cera, Petrie, Ducky and Spike. He rescues them a few times and they put themselves in danger to return the favour when he injures his foot.
* Tricia's birth in movie twelve. She's just too cute...
** Even more cute, she says her first word at the very end: Cera.
** Practically every scene with Tricia in it is adorable! You just can't get enough of her!
** Guido supporting Petrie as he practices for the Great Day of the Flyers.
** Petrie abandons his flying test in order to rescue Tricia and Guido from being swept away by rapids, and then his siblings (who have been treating him harshly throughout the film) all pitch in to help them. Afterwards, Petrie apologizes to his mother for not finishing the test, but Mama Flyer tells all of her children [[SoProudOfYou how proud she is of them]] because they realized what was really important.
** After the fiasco involving Guido and a ''Spinosaurus'' in the Mysterious Beyond, the Gang is just a few hours away from the Day of the Flyers beginning, and an unrested Petrie laments that he will just mess up again like he did with the first practices. Cue his friends giving him a [[YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre pep talk]]:
--->'''Cera''': Are you kidding? Did you see yourself last night? You're a great flyer!\\
'''Ducky''': Yep, yep, yep! You fly like nobody else.\\
'''Petrie''': But that the problem! The whole point of Day of Flyers is to show you can fly like everybody else.\\
'''Guido''': B-b-but maybe that's not the problem. Maybe it's the solution. Look, if there's one thing I had to learn is that you can't worry about being like everybody else. You just have to [[BeYourself be yourself]]. Just be Petrie and you'll be fine.
** Topps thanking Guido for his attempt in saving Tricia, after initially disliking him.
* When Littlefoot congratulates Foobie for spotting the rock that resembles a Yellow-Belly, Foobie let's out a quiet, thank you, squawk and then makes a adorable smiley face.
* The prologue of the fourteenth film is heartwarming in and of itself considering the series has returned at all. It retells the events of the first film, released nearly ''thirty years ago'', and also retells the ending of ''The Great Longneck Migration''. It's a welcome trip down memory lane, and also outright mentions the death of Littlefoot's mother for the first time since ''Migration'' (and out of universe, about thirteen years). It's a warm treat for longtime fans.

'''TV Series''':
* After taunting him the entire episode, once Chomper saves the day with his little arms in ''The Missing Fastwater Adventure'' Cera gives him a more good-natured tease along with a heartfelt "Good job, Chomper".
* At the end of "March of the Sand-Creepers", Ducky's kindness towards the sand-creepers pays off when Scuttle informs her this:
-->'''Scuttle''': Me fellow creepers have given you a name, too. They call ya "Smiley Soft-shell". And if you ever need a friend, you've got a whole lagoon full.
* Spike and Tippys reuniting in ''The Forbidden Friendship".
