%%* In ''Death Comes to Town'', when Ricky learns that Marnie is his mother.
* The sketch where Bruce adopts a stray businessman, played by Kevin, as a pet. When Bruce realises he can never give his businessman a promotion, he releases him back into the CBD with the wild businessmen. He chokes up and says, "Maybe I'll get a job at your company one day!" and Kevin gives Bruce his tie. Awww!
* At the end of the "Videos" sketch with Lex and The King of Empty Promises, Dave and Kevin exchange a soda and a hug. Because in RealLife, they're friends!
* Music/KurtCobain was a fan of the troupe, and had made plans to meet them, prior to his suicide. Music/CourtneyLove gave a childhood school picture of Cobain to the Kids; it can be seen sitting on Buddy Cole's bar in the last season. A very nice tribute to a man they never even met.
* In "Daddy Drank" the dad wears the tap shoes his son gave him.
* In the (2022 revival) season six "Gordon and Fran" sketch, Gordon surprises Fran on their anniversary by trying to carry her over the threshold of their home, since he wasn't able to do it on their wedding night. He fails numerous times, and the strain eventually gives him a heart attack, but he's so determined to carry her that he keeps on trying and has a second heart attack. He also drops Fran and injures her as well, but she's touched enough by the gesture that, when the paramedics come to take them to the hospital, they hold hands across their stretchers.
* The very last sketch (not counting Season 5's best-of episode) of the series, "A. T. & Death". The women of the A. T. & Love secretarial pool (all of the Kids) learn that the company has been bought out and the CEO is letting them go. They say goodbye to each other and acknowledge that they probably won't be very close with each other if they meet again, but exchange a group hug nonetheless. Even their supervisor, Elizabeth (Dave) is included, though she tries to step out of it at first.
