* Sister Encarnacion arriving at Nacho's fight with most of the kids from their orphanage wearing masks in Nacho's style. This helps Nacho [[HeroicSecondWind turn the fight around]] and comes with SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic.
* At Nacho's first match, he gets the attention of a cross-eyed old man in a suit. This man can be seen in the stands at all of Nacho's matches. Though he's a silent extra, he's Nacho's first and biggest fan.
* When Esqueleto reveals to Nacho that his "exile" has barely taken him past the edge of town, he points to said edge, where a small group of people are standing and watching them - including a little girl who readily waves and calls ''"¡Hola, Nacho!"'' It's funny, yeah, but as insignificant as Nacho's felt outside of his wrestling life, the greeting in particular also gives the impression that regardless of his eccentric and bumbling behavior, he's a recognized and well-liked member of his community, and reinforces that he's good with kids.
* The [[BashBrothers friendship]] between Nacho and Esqueleto, especially by the end of the film.
* [[ChastityCouple Nacho and Sister Encarnacion's romance]] is also very sweet and it's clear that they are all but co-parenting the children together by the end of the movie. Granted, it's a family movie (and the whole vow of celibacy gets in the way) so it couldn't be explicit in any way, but they are still given a respectful, if very chaste, love story.
