Palutena: Welcome back, Pit.\\

-->-- Chapter 22: "Scorched Feathers"

A sequel 25 years in the making, VideoGame/KidIcarusUprising wanted its fans to know that they haven't been forgotten, and seeing the characters they know and love receive the gratitude they deserve is proof enough that the game is sorry to keep you waiting.
----
* Pit's dedication to Palutena goes to the extreme especially in Uprising where he'll kill Gods and Goddesses and wipe out entire forces if she gives the orders. Pit even admits that he did everything for her because she was on the side of justice and wouldn't take it any other way. When Palutena gets controlled by Chaos Kin and everyone is against saving her, later, even despite Palutena's harsh words about him being useless and naïve to her, he risked his life to save her.
* The relationship between Pit and Dark Pit comes off as a cute sibling rivalry as the game goes on. Despite Dark Pit's claims to get rid of Pit, he'll still help Pit out when the situation calls for it. Despite their claims of not caring for each other, Pit almost killed himself trying to save Dark Pit from Chaos Kin at the cost of burning his wings while Dark Pit dove into the Underworld to bring Pit's soul back and save him from death. A huge case of AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther.
** The victory screen of a Light Vs. Dark match where an angel deals the finishing blow. Regardless of whether it's Pit extending a hand to help a defeated Dark Pit to his feet, or vice versa, the other gladly accepts it.
* After the Chaos Kin is defeated and Pit is healed at the Rewind Spring, Pit's reunion with Palutena.
-->Pit: I missed you so much!\\
Palutena: I missed you, too. Let's go home.
* The Centurions' dedication to Pit, and his caring for them during the Aurum invasion. After Viridi's troops moving the platform pit's on after loosing the Power of Flight are killed saving him from a solar flare, Pit is stranded... until Palutena calls in the centurions, both for backup and to pull the chariot. Pit immediately wants them called back for their own safety... only for one of them to tell him it was okay and that they'd do anything for their captain and the earth.
* If beaten as the Hewdraw Reborn boss, the purple Hewdraw head notes that Pit grew strong, and that he's proud of him.
* Viridi gets quite a few of these throughout the latter half of the game, showing that for all her jerkassery, she does have a heart deep down.
** In Chapter 17, Pit's Power of Flight has run out and Palutena can't extract him due to Pyrrhon blocking her telepathy. It looks like Pit is about to fall to his death, but Viridi comes to his rescue by having her Nutskis carry a slab of rock to use as a makeshift platform as he makes his way to Pyrrhon. And when Pyrrhon has him cornered and nearly fires him with a Pyroblaster, the Nutskis perform a HeroicSacrifice and take the brunt of the attack.
** In Chapter 18, after Pit gets his body back, Viridi fills in for Palutena, providing the Power of Flight, creating a new MissionControl, and helping Pit to rescue Palutena despite seeming to think it's hopeless. For all their differences, most of the help Viridi provides Pit for the next few chapters qualifies as heartwarming.
** In Chapter 19, the Chariot Master dies after his duel with Pit, and the latter is visibly distraught at the thought that he had to murder someone. Viridi, in a rare display of emotion, drops the snide tone for once and comforts Pit by calling the Chariot Master an honorable warrior and tells Pit to not let his death be in vain.
** An offscreen moment in Chapter 23. Hades has swallowed Pit and is trapped inside his belly. Right when he gets to the room where Hades' Heart is, Pit sees that Viridi is sending her army to try to rescue him. Keep in mind that Viridi is most likely aware that her army doesn't stand a chance against Hades, but she is perfectly willing to risk it for the chance to save Pit's life.
* Right before the credits, even as Viridi storms off, she keeps the Power of Flight active so that Pit can enjoy his post victory celebration flight. When Dark Pit briefly joins him, you can see that Palutena has activated her Power of Flight on him, for the exact same reason.
